"Leave if you don't want me to call the guard."

I couldn't stand the conversation between the two so I headed to the room My brain is more confused. I want to see Venus to tell the whole story. I want sympathy.

I sat on the bed for a few minutes and my brain system kept spinning. As much as I can, I will avoid giving malice to what happened.

After a while there was a knock and even though I didn't answer it, it opened on its own and revealed the governor.

“I want to see my cousin. I also want to take a shower but I don't have any clothes. I was about to go back to- to the apartment.” I led him to speak but he shook his head.

"No." His ex was cold and his voice was just as cold. Not angry but scared of you. “You will not leave the mansion. I'll take care of your stuff. Don't worry about your cousin. It's fine."

"But I want to see him. And what is your real reason for adopting me? Do you have a reason? Impossible nothing.” I restrained myself from letting it be known that I overheard something in the father and son's conversation.

"You're not going anywhere without me Natasha. I have work so the next time you meet. And you're looking for a reason? You started it, didn't you? You agreed to our conversation, so you can't take it back."

With each new day, the governor's treatment of me gets colder and colder. Time went by for a long time because I was always locked in the room.

It's been a month since I've been here in the mansion and that's how long it's been since insan Venus and I last met.

Wanting to see him, I tried to run away but failed. I didn't really think that the mansion had many guards.

I tried to climb the gate at the back but I couldn't escape.

The governor found out about that and that's when he started tightening up especially on the guards and especially on me.

Today is Sunday so I know he didn't come to the chapter. I want to talk to him. Venus is not the only one I want to see as well as mom. I know he is looking for me because I haven't visited him in a month.

"Ma'am, where are you going?" I was greeted by five all black guards who were watching over me without fail.

I smiled before speaking. "Drink. I will drink water from the chin.”

"You go back to the room and I'll take care of getting you something to drink."

"I will not run away. I'm just fast and then I might become crippled because I can't walk anymore. Please.”

"Jeff go with him." Jeff nodded so I started walking while he was tailing behind me.

I went to the dining room and drank some water. I just saw Sister Angel so I called her "Oh, is there a problem beauty?" I shook my head and approached him. "Your bodyguard is handsome, beauty. Do you know?" He whispered while his eyes were focused on the guard who followed him.

"His name is Jeff."

"That's my destiny. Next time ask for a number hehe. Why did you come here?"

"Sister is Gov? Is he here now?”

“Yes. It's in the study room. Actually, I'm going there to deliver the wine." I didn't notice that he was holding a bottle and it was filled with a red colored liquid.

"Ahem. Sis. I'll just reach. I also have something to say to him."

"Alright, talk to him not to tighten too much because you're already suffocating. It turns out that Gov. is a different kind of lover. I hope Jeff is the same.” He even bit his lower lip, signaling that he really tripped Jeff.

I went upstairs again and no guard followed me. I don't know what strategies the woman did to get the guard to obey.

Since I've been in here before, maybe he won't be angry if I come in a second time to talk to him.

Carrying the wine, I entered the room and he was not the only person there.

I thought I was the only one who entered his room other than him, but why is he now with others?

He has three men with him and it is obvious from his forms that life is luxurious. They looked the same age and one of them was still in uniform. It's the police.

"New maid Gov?" A man asked. He is brunette and in a business suit. Also smiling while checking my total which was later transferred to the governor.

"Go home now. Let's talk next time."

"No Natasha. Stay here. We need to talk.” This is his cold voice. My system trembled again but I forced myself to turn my eyes to him because I knew he didn't want to talk without the two visions focused on him.

"No. I won't allow you to do that." As I expected, he will ban me again. Maybe this will also serve as a punishment for what I did today.

He came in front of me and grabbed my shoulder. I looked at him. I'm only up to his chest. Looking at it, he looked perfect for the twenty-eight-year-old governor of this area.

I returned his hug. I wrapped my hand around his waist. Smile and close your eyes to feel more joy.

He stroked my hair. He made me drunk again.

I was the first to release the hug and looked up at him with a smile to convey my gratitude.

I nodded and left his room. I don't know but I'm thirsty again so I go downstairs to drink water again.

I just smiled at them and headed to the fridge. I drank and I felt sister Angel's presence next to me.

I smiled at the woman and nodded.
