Chapter 7

As she left the building she realized there was no point thinking, he said it already, he always get what he wants, she thinking was just a waste of time. He’d still come for her whether she liked it or not.

She turned and headed back to his office and asked “What do I have to do?"

Rafael's looked up surprised his eyes gleamed with excitement. "You’re smart, that’s one thing I like about you. You'll do exactly as I say. And you'll start by joining me for dinner tonight. At my estate. Alone."

The way he said "alone" sent a shiver down Natalie's spine. She knew that she was walking into a trap, but she had no choice. She was trapped in a web of deceit and manipulation, and Rafael was the spider, waiting to devour her.

Natalie's heart raced as she nodded reluctantly, knowing she had no choice but to agree to Rafael's demands. "I'll be there," she said, her voice barely audible.

Rafael's smile grew wider, his eyes gleaming with triumph. "Excellent. I'll send a car for you at 7pm. Don't be late, Natalie. I hate waiting."

Natalie felt a surge of fear as she realized she was trapped. She had to find a way to escape, but for now, she had to play along. She nodded again, trying to hide her terror.

As she left Rafael's office, Natalie felt like she was walking into a nightmare. She knew she had to think fast, come up with a plan to escape Rafael's clutches. But for now, she was at his mercy.

The hours ticked by like days as Natalie waited for the car to arrive. She tried to calm her racing thoughts, but her mind was a jumble of fear and anxiety.

When the car finally arrived, Natalie took a deep breath and stepped inside. She knew she was walking into a trap, but she had no choice. She had to play along, at least for now.

As the car drove through the gates of Rafael's estate, Natalie felt a sense of dread wash over her. She knew she was in for a long, terrifying night.

The car pulled up to the grand entrance of Rafael's mansion, and Natalie's heart sank. She felt like she was being led to her execution. The driver opened the door, and Natalie stepped out, her legs trembling.

Rafael was waiting for her, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "Welcome, Natalie," he said, his voice low and menacing. "I'm so glad you could join me."

Natalie tried to smile, but her lips felt like they were made of ice. "Thank you for having me," she said, her voice barely audible.

Rafael offered her his arm, and Natalie took it, feeling like she was walking to her doom. He led her into the mansion, through opulent halls and chambers, until they reached a grand dining room.

The table was set with fine china and crystal glasses, and Natalie felt like she was in a dream. A nightmare. Rafael pulled out her chair, and she sat down, her heart racing.

The meal was a blur of fancy dishes and polite conversation, but Natalie's mind was racing with thoughts of escape. She knew she had to get out of there, but how?

As the night wore on, Rafael's eyes never left hers, and Natalie felt like she was being suffocated by his gaze. She knew she had to think fast, come up with a plan, or risk losing herself forever.

And then, just as she thought things couldn't get any worse, Rafael's eyes gleamed with a sinister light, and he said, "Shall we move on to dessert, Natalie? I have something special in store for you."

Natalie's heart skipped a beat as Rafael's words hung in the air, heavy with menace. She tried to smile, to play along, but her lips felt like they were made of stone.

"Of course," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I love dessert."

Rafael's eyes gleamed with triumph, and he snapped his fingers. The doors to the dining room burst open, and a procession of servers marched in, carrying a majestic cake adorned with candles and flowers.

Natalie's eyes widened as Rafael rose from his seat and walked towards her, a small box in his hand. "I have a special surprise for you, Natalie," he said, his voice dripping with malice. "A little something to seal our deal."

Natalie's heart raced as Rafael opened the box, revealing a glittering diamond necklace. She felt like she was being suffocated by his gaze, trapped in a web of deceit and manipulation.

"Put it on," Rafael commanded, his eyes burning with intensity.

Natalie's hands trembled as she took the necklace from the box. She felt like she was selling her soul, but she had no choice. She had to play along, at least for now.

As she fastened the necklace around her neck, Rafael's eyes gleamed with triumph. "You look stunning, Natalie," he said, his voice dripping with possessiveness. "You're mine now."

Natalie felt a chill run down her spine as Rafael's words hung in the air, a cold reminder of her fate. She knew she had to escape, but how? She was trapped in Rafael's web, and she didn't know how to break free.

Rafael's eyes seemed to bore into her soul, as if he could see the very fabric of her being. Natalie felt a shiver run down her spine as he reached out and traced the curve of her neck, his fingers grazing the diamond necklace.

"You're mine now, Natalie," he whispered, his breath hot against her ear. "You'll do as I say, won't you?"

Natalie's heart raced as she tried to pull away, but Rafael's grip was like a vice. She felt trapped, suffocated by his presence.

"I...I need some air," she stammered, trying to keep her voice steady.

Rafael's eyes narrowed, but he released his hold on her. "Very well," he said, his voice dripping with disappointment. " you may leave. But make sure you’re in my office by 8am tomorrow morning, I’ve got an assignment for you, remember, I hate waiting. If you disobey me there will be consequences. Understood?."

Natalie nodded and got up, she felt a chill run down her spine as she turned and fled the room, the diamond necklace feeling like a noose around her neck. She knew she had to get out of there, but where could she go? And how could she escape Rafael's grasp?

As she ran through the halls, she heard Rafael's laughter echoing behind her, a cold reminder that she was trapped in his web of deceit and manipulation. She knew she had to think fast, come up with a plan, or risk losing herself forever.

But for now, she just ran, her heart pounding in her chest, her mind racing with fear and uncertainty. She didn't know what the future held, but she knew she had to keep moving, had to keep fighting. For her freedom, and for her very life.

Natalie burst through the front doors of the mansion, gasping for air as she stumbled out into the night. She didn't dare look back, fearing what she might see. She could hear Rafael's laughter echoing behind her, taunting her.

She ran down the driveway, her heels clicking on the pavement. She didn't know where she was going, she just knew she had to get away. The darkness seemed to swallow her whole, but she kept running, her heart pounding in her chest.
