Martha Point of View
The passage of thirty agonizing minutes felt like an eternity as I prepared for the pivotal moment of my scheme. It was the icing of the cake indeed.
Clutching a jar filled with gasoline, I moved with stealth and purpose towards the gym, where Amelia unsuspectingly occupied herself. My plan had formed the day I overheard the Healer advising her to exercise regularly, I just had to refine it a bit, make it more elaborate. The weight of the jar felt heavy in my hands, symbolizing the impending chaos I was about to unleash. I couldn't wait to see hell unleashed in the mansion.
As I approached the gym, a mix of nerves and determination coursed through me. Many would call me the bad, but even the bad has his fun filled moment.
I wouldn't back down now, there was no one around, now was the right time to do what I had to do.
With meticulous precision, I began pouring the gasoline around the perimeter, ensuring every inch was coated in the flammable liquid. The pungent smell lingered in the air, heightening the tension as I readied myself for the impending ignition.
In the quiet anticipation of the moment, the spark of a lighter set the gasoline ablaze, and the gym erupted into a mesmerising inferno.
Flames danced with an untamed fervor, licking at the surface, engulfing the whole place and creating a fiery spectacle that illuminated the darkness around.
Inside the gym, Amelia, now unwittingly trapped, faced a perilous predicament.
A cold shiver ran down my spine as I absorbed the gravity of what I had set in motion. The sense of accomplishment mingled with a haunting realization of the consequences of my actions unfolding in the flickering shadows of the engulfed gym.
It was done. I laughed seeing the reality and disaster that I had created, it was simply perfection.
I just had to wait for the good news. I escaped the scene.
Dorian's Point of View
I couldn't calm my breath down as everyone in the pack mansion gathered in the chambers. I was pacing around trying to hold down my wolf from taking over and commiting what would be the ultimate gruesome murder to any of the pack members.
"Alpha, you have to calm down." I turned swiftly to the direction of that voice and found it to be Bolton.
"Calm down? Bolton I should calm down?" I walked slow and menacingly over to him. "I darted because of Cannon woods, but I escaped. The one single thing any one of you could do was to protect my Amelia!" I yelled down at his face.
The gym explosion had made several of the pack soldiers rush over there and tame the fire down till it was completely out of the equation. I had stepped into the gym to find Amelia was not inside and while a part of me was relief, another was worried as the command to search for her across the mansion proved futile.
"You call yourselves pack soldiers, but all I see are incompetent fools who cannot do their jobs. Seven of you! I repeat seven of you were asked to protect my Luna and her unborn child, what did you do? You all slept!" I growled in the direction of the soldiers who had slept on duty.
"Alpha, you know our plight, we were dosed." I launched at the one who had made such a statement and claw his heart out right in front of the rest of the members of the mansion. I was not in any state of mind to think. The pain and agony of not seeing my mate was getting to me and my wolf.
"Everyone of you have till sun down. Find the Luna and even if it means you will have to go to the end of the earth to find her, I need her back by sun down!" Their gaze was on the lifeless soldier on the floor. "And clean that mess!" I ordered and they all moved away from the chambers, with only Bolton left.
I stared down the window, lost in my own thoughts. Where could she be? Aurelia wouldn't have ran away with her state of condition, we had indeed gotten in altercation, but I don't expect her to leave the mansion.
"Alpha, maybe if you calm down, you will be willing to listen to what I want to say." Bolton broke the chain of my thought.
"Bolton, the only reason why you are not in the same category as the soldier I had removed his heart out, is because you are my Beta. I don't want to get too pissed, which is why I want to be left alone." He didn't speak any further as my ears picked on his footsteps as they head towards the door. "Call Bella to my chambers as you leave." I ordered.
Once he had left, I was once again in the deepest part of my thoughts. Why did she have to make things hard for me? I never hated her and surely I wouldn't have intended to keep this hatred for long as the moon goddess had blessed my pack with a heir.
"Alpha." Bella 's voice drew me away from my thought as she stood before my presence. "You summoned me." She added lowering her head.
"Amelia has not only been your mistress, she has also been your friend and I admire the fact that you both have kept such connection." I complimented. "But I need to know Bella , before her mysterious disappearance, did Amelia tell you anything? Did she speak to you about my current relationship with her?" I asked.
"Alpha, you will continue to wax stronger. I have always been loyal to the royal house and I will continue to be loyal, which is why I have a thing or two to say regarding Amelia" I sat upright eager to listen to her.
"Yes we spoke about you and Amelia has been particularly bothered about what you both shared. She has been caught in the web of whether you are simply doing all this for the heir or for her." I heaved a sigh, as I knew she had a good point.
Amelia didn't have any reason to trust me, after all her parents were allegedly the killers of my father and this was the driving factor for the hate I encompass for her.
"Do you have any idea what would most likely had happened to her. My mind isn't settled about her disappearance." I asked getting to reveal my insecurities before Bella .
"Alpha, I know you are worried and I am worried as well. I believe Amelia wouldn't have ran away. She had instructed me to get some herbs from the healer and that was when I heard about the entire situation. Till this very moments, I am still worried for her." Clearly she didn't have much information that I could use.
"Fine you may leave." I dismissed her and while she was almost close to the door, she halted in her steps and turned around to face me.
"Alpha, I know she will be fine. Amelia is stronger than we think." I nodded my head believing her words as she moved out of the chambers.
Getting up from my chair, I stepped out of the chambers with one last pace in mind to head to; the healer could potentially hold information that I needed to use.
"Alpha!" I heard a soldier call out to me, running towards my direction. "One of the pack members said they found a stranger moving out of the mansion with someone on their chariots. It is said that the stranger seemed to be in a hurry and whomever was on the chariots with him didn't looked to be conscious." I became tensed at the possibility of what could have happen.
