“Dance Dance Revo?” I reacted as he dropped the coin. “Really?” I said, amazed. “You do know how to dance?”
He winked as he stood in front and found his place. “Watch me.”
I stood there, waiting for him, as he picked songs to dance. I told him to dance because that is the first time that came inside my mind and I think he does really look hot when he dances. So, he thought of going to the mall to play Dance Dance Revo at the World of Fun.
“Okay…” My jaw dropped when he started dancing to the rhythm. He was so flawless that the machine kept on saying it’s a perfect hit. Oh my gosh! I was amazed and I just looked at him. Until, I realized that a lot of people, girls, were behind me watching him dance. Some of them were giggling and others were taking a video of him while he did the steps like it’s just a piece of cake. He must have spent a lot of time here.
Seriously? Wow! He’s so cool.
“Close your month, babe!” He grinned as he laughed. I didn’t even notice that he’s already done with dancing. Gosh! He wiped his sweat as he stared at me. “Want me to take another song?”
“I guess, they would love that.” I turned around and he didn’t even flinch when he saw girls watching him. Maybe, he’s so already used to it as he’s the kind of guy that would make your head turn when walking.
“Jealous?” He teased me.
“Why would I?”
“Good,” He brushed my hair. “It’s you that I like. Get used to it, babe, I am handsome.”
“I know right,” I whispered. I offered him my handkerchief as he wiped his sweat.
The girls started expressing their dismay as the handsome guy in front of them is already taken or they assumed that he is already taken since he is with me. I would love to assume that, too. Well, he’s not courting me. So, maybe, this is just a getting to know stage.
We played and spent another hour in the arcade, playing whatever we wanted until we both got hungry. We went to a Mexican Restaurant that he told me he likes. I never tried the food and I like trying new things, which I could say their food was good. I might take Lyuna here with me or tell Dio to take Lyuna here because they offer good food and the ambiance is perfect for dates with candle lightings.
“Where have you been?” I asked and stopped when he handed me a crimson rose. He told me he will just go to the comfort room, but here he is, it took him so long because he bought me a flower.
“Thank you!” I blushed.
“Anything for you, babe!” He smiled. “And, I have a question,” he seriously said as he sat down.
“What is it?”
“May I court you?”
He was nervous and I felt him trying to make his breathing stable as he waited for my answer.
“Hey…” He flicked in front of me while I stared at him, thinking.
I stared at him, watched his eyes blinking at every second, his lips twitched, his brow lifted, thinking about everything. I never expected this to happen. I don't know how to react, but I know I wanted this. I know that I liked Gray…loves Gray. I am afraid to take a risk, but I don't want to regret it.
"Why? Don't you like me?" He looked sad and disappointed.
"I do like you. So, why do you still need to court me?"
"What?" He asked, confused.
"Do you like me?"
"I like you," he sincerely said.
"Then, let's be together," I said. "I don't actually believe in courting. I mean, you like me. I like you. Let's try and make it work. If it will not work-"
"It will work!" He happily cut me off and quickly went beside me to hug me. "I promise not to waste the chance that you've given me."
"I know!" I hugged him. "Let's make it work."
I could only hope that destiny will really work its way for us. For now, I just have to take a risk, and a leap of faith, that if things were meant to be, it will always be.
