CHAPTER 11 : CAPTURED STALKER

Alexander led the way while Jace pushed Andrew while still holding his wrist and twisting it whenever Andrew tried to flee. Jace pushed Andrew inside Alexander’s apartment as he pulled Alexander towards himself, completely shielding him from Andrew's filthy gaze.

“Who the hell are you and what are you doing near Alexander?” Andrew spoke angrily as he grabbed Alexander’s arm pulling him towards himself.

“Whoever I am is unimportant to you, but whoever you are is a big issue.” Alexander stared at Jace's poker face as he shrugged his shoulder.

“Alex, who is this jerk?” Andrew inquired as Alexander locked his gaze on Jace, who locked his gaze on Alexander.

Jace extended his arm as Alexander kept his hand on top of Jace’s arm. Andrew glared fiercely at Alexander as Jace drew him closer to himself, Alexander's tiny body colliding with Jace's muscular one.

Andrew said through clenched teeth, "Alexander, come back here," while Alexander just shook his head and hid behind Jace, who grinned.

“Would you like to know who I am?” Jace smirked as Andrew angrily shook his head. Jace turned around and kissed Alexander’s neck, wrapping his arms around his waist.

Andrew and Alexander's eyes widened as Alexander closed his eyes and leaned into Jace's embrace, who slid his hand under Alexander's shirt as he broke the kiss and glared at Andrew.

“I am Alexander's mate, Jace de Leon,” Jace said, Alexander's face flushed red as he buried his face in Jace's chest, ashamed.

Andrew smirked as he leaned against the kitchen island, "Funny, I heard his mate rejected him."

“I did, but didn't you see me at his house first thing in the morning?” I stayed because I felt bad about refusing him, so I came to ask for forgiveness, and now we're together.” Alexander could tell Jace was lying from the way he spoke.

“Did you happen to be the morning biker?” Andrew questioned

“Yeah, I saw you in the morning sitting under the tree and intentionally fought with Alexander and walked out of the house first to make sure you don't blame me and I can catch you,” Jace hummed.

Andrew locked his eyes on Alexander, who flinched and shrank, trying to either shield or disappear from Andrew's cold stare.

“Alexander, he's lying, isn't he?” Alexander flinched and shivered in fear as Andrew yelled.

“No, Jace is my mate and I adore him.” Alexander stuttered out afraid, but he loved him, so it wasn't entirely false.

“Wait until I tell your father,” Alexander's eyes widened as he looked up, terrified, as Andrew smirked. He was well aware of what his parents had already told him, which frightened Alexander even more.

Jace realized Alexander's face was pale with terror, so he ruffled Alexander's hair and said, "Go ahead because Alexander got me, and I'll see who touches my mate with their filthy hands."

Andrew stared at Jace and said, "Just wait," which made Jace laugh.

“The only thing you can do is talk. “I am an alpha, and I will see if you or someone else can take alpha's possession,” Jace said, glaring at Andrew, who just laughed.

“I've fucked your possession,” Andrew grinned as Jace turned to face Alexander, who was looking back at him.

“Oh, you have? “Alexander, can you please tell the cops that Andrew was killed because he attacked you and I defended you?” Jace asked, smiling at Alexander, who shrugged and muttered “Sure.”

“What are you talking about?” You can't really agree with him.” Andrew shouted, and Alexander replied with a shrug of his shoulder, “He is my mate, so I guess I can.”

“YOU FUCKING WHORE SPREADING YOUR LEGS EVERYWHERE YOU GO,” Andrew screamed as he held Alexander by the hand and pulled him towards himself.

“H-hey” Alexander stuttered out as Andrew grabbed Alexander by the hair while keeping a knife near his chin, causing Jace's eyes to widen.

“If you don't let him go, Andrew, I won't guarantee your safety.” Jace’s wolf took control, Jace growled with his fangs out, his eyes turned a bright orange color.

Jace's ears and tail had popped out, and he was now in his half-wolf shape, attempting to keep himself from killing Andrew.

“J-Jace, please stay away from him or he can injure you as well.” Jace looked at Alexander, who was trembling with terror, as he cried out.

Jace was at a loss for what to do. He tried to attack and fight Andrew, but he knew that doing so would mean killing Andrew, which would be illegal because he could face prison time.

Jace said through clenched teeth, "Baby, stop thinking about me for once."

“YEAH, BE SCARED, AND ALEX, YOU ARE COMING WITH ME,” Andrew screamed as he yanked Alexander's hair, causing him to yelp, “NO.”

“Let my mate go,” Jace warned Andrew once more as he took a step forward, only to back away as Andrew pushed the knife against Alexander's chin.

“No, Alexander will be mine, as promised by his father. It was decided that he would be mine. Andrew smiled, knowing Alexander was terrified of what Andrew might do to him.

“You already have a mate,” Jace said, his gaze fixed on Alexander, who was in extreme pain.

“I don't mind because they're human. They won't know whether I'm real or not, and isn't your fake Jace lying?” Andrew chuckled as Jace raised an eyebrow and responded with a query. “Lying about what?”

Andrew responded, shaking his head and pointing to Jace's wrist, "Alexander being your mate."

“He is my mate, and I love him.” Alexander's face flushed red as he heard Jace say that and felt his wolf seize control.

“Are you sure? “How come your wrist has the name Richa on it?” Andrew inquired as Jace's anger subsided.

“She was my first mate, but she is now married. “I was rewarded with a better mate, and I can even prove it,” Jace said, shaking his head and letting his wolf take over once more.

“Jace, I'll accompany him. Don't take my parents for granted. They can also hurt you, and I don't want that,” Alexander said as he shook his head at Jace.

“I DON'T GIVE A FUCK. “THEY CAN HARM ME!” Jace screamed, glaring at Andrew and growling.

Andrew chuckled and shook his head, saying, "You both take me too lightly," which made Jace growl even louder.

“NEVER,” Jace said bitterly as Andrew tugged on Alexander's hair making him hiss in pain while he felt sad and furious.

“So, why did your mate abandon you?” Andrew asked, laughing while gazing at Jace, who remained silent, refusing to respond, "I'm sure they aren't dead." Did they abandon you in favor of someone else? “Did they kiss right in front of you?” Andrew inquired as Alexander saw pain written all over Jace's face as he reverted to his human form.

“Did they lie?” Alexander was about to kill Andrew for asking such questions when he saw a scissor in the basket on the kitchen island.

“Aww you poor thing, your mate abandoned you because you are useless, which is why they cheated on you ri-“ Andrew couldn't finish his sentence as Alexander abruptly cut his hair, freeing himself from Andrew's grip.

Jace's eyes widened as he screamed "ALEXANDER," and Alexander immediately embraced him.

“Don't pay attention to him, Jace. You are far superior to anyone else. So, babe, please forget this asshole for me.” Alexander said this while cupping Jace's face, who was now on his knees.

“What the heck are you talking about, cub?” “What pushed you to do this?” Jace inquired as he stroked Alexander's messy hair.

Jace never told Alexander, but he loved his loose curls that brushed against his shoulders, so seeing Alexander's hair cut in front of his eyes made him understand how much Alexander is willing to sacrifice for him.

“I can't see you sad, I guess,” Alexander said as he kissed Jace's cheek, as Jace leaned in for the kiss, his forehead touching Alexander's.

“You are an idiot...my little idiot,” Jace said quietly as he opened his eyes to see Andrew almost grabbing Alexander again, so he quickly drew Alexander in and hugged him tightly.

“ALEXANDER” Andrew yelled his name as Jace stood up with Alexander, softly pushing Alexander behind his back, allowing his wolf to reclaim dominance.

“Don't say his name out of your goddamn mouth. “You have one minute to get out of here or else I won't guarantee what I'm going to do to you,” Jace warned Andrew, who flinched and took a step back.

“My parents will kill you, and not only my parents, but Alexander's parents as well,” Andrew said as he glared at Alexander, who clutched the hem of Jace's shirt.

“Oh, if we're talking about parents, I think my dad Drake De Leon wouldn't mind putting you and your whole gang in jail,” Jace said, noting that his father was a top alpha in business matters, which caused Andrew to flinch once again.

Andrew knew he had no choice but to leave because he had no backup. “I'm leaving this time, but I'll take Alexander with me if I see you're not around,” Andrew said as he approached Jace, who was staring at him.

“Yeah, just try because he is moving to my house soon, so you have to come to my house to do that,” Jace said as he unlocked the front door and motioned Andrew to exit.

As Jace and Alexander turned around, Andrew walked towards the entrance. Alexander locked his gaze on Andrew, while Jace stood behind him.

“Bye babes,” Andrew said as he kissed Alexander on the cheek when Jace punched Andrew, causing him to stumble back and crash out the door.

Jace groaned as he closed the door, locking it and staring at Alexander, who was staring at the floor.

“Are you all right, Cub?” Jace asked as he grabbed Alexander by the chin and forced him to look up, his eyes widening as he saw Alexander biting his bottom lip to keep from crying.

“I was going to scold you for cutting your hair, but I suppose I can't now.” Jace took a deep breath and smiled as he hugged Alexander, who cried out, "T-Thank you."

Jace chuckled as he caressed Alexander's cheek, whispering, "Hey, it's okay. I know I rejected you as my mate, but I never said we couldn't be friends, and I despise it when people dismiss omegas.”

Alexander felt relieved when he learned that Jace never disliked omegas. Alexander had always suspected that Jace had rejected him because he was an omega and used Richa as an excuse, but his suspicions were all dispelled today.

“A-Andrew said a lot of things. “I am deeply sorry he did that,” Alexander said, recalling how sad Jace became when he learned about Richa.

“You don't need to apologize because it wasn't your fault.” Jace grinned as he stood up, assisting Alexander to do the same.

“It’s my mistake.” Jace shook his head at what Alexander said as he hugged Alexander again. “No, my cub, it isn't your fault, so let's get you to bed,” Jace said.

“I-I'll take a shower first so you can leave,” Alexander spoke despite his fear and reluctance to let Jace go. Jace noticed Alexander's shaking body and how tightly he clutched his shirt, knowing Alexander was only acting tough.

“Are you not hungry?” Jace pondered changing the subject as Alexander shook his head and muttered, "I lost my appetite," before Jace let him go.

“You lost your appetite, Cub, but I didn't. I haven't eaten something since 1 p.m., so please order something and we can eat together,” Jace said, laughing as his stomach grumbled.

“O-Okay, I will change,” Alexander hummed as he giggled.

“Of course, but first, what would you like to eat?” Jace inquired, perplexed, as Alexander replied, "Anything is okay."

"Burger?" What about pizza? “Chinese dish?” Jace was perplexed when he saw a depressed look in Alexander's eyes, which caused him to sigh.

“I'm not sure.” Alexander muttered out while Jace smirked, turning Alexander's face up when speaking, "or do you want me?"

Alexander burst out laughing as he pushed Jace away and said, "All except you because you will taste disgusting," causing Jace to laugh as well.

“Aww, boo.” Jace pouted then grinned when he saw Alexander giggling again.

Jace ruffled Alexander's hair as he spoke, "Just go and shower, I'll order."

‘At least he grinned a little after I said that,’ Jace thought as he sighed smiling that at least this idea worked because he despised the fact that Alexander was frowning and crying.

Jace groaningly looked at himself, wanting to change but finding it difficult, so he knocked on the washroom door, waiting for Alexander to say something.

“Alexander,” Jace screamed, trying to elicit a response.

“Yeah?” Alexander enquired, causing Jace to sigh.

“I'm going to get some burgers, so don't open unless it's me, okay?” Jace inquired, hoping Alexander would approve.

“Just lock the house and take the keys with you,” Alexander screamed as Jace muttered, “Okay if you say so,” while he went to get some clothes for himself as well as food for him and Alexander.

********

Alexander was depressed as he stared at his reflection, now having short brown hair. He sighed and rubbed his chin as he opened the cabinet, took out the scissor, and began cutting his hair, making sure to just level it.

His hair, which had once touched his shoulders, now reached his ear and was wavy, causing him to sigh once more. Alexander immediately stripped as he took a shower, hoping his hair would grow quickly.

The bathroom was now wet, and Alexander patted his body dry while looking in the mirror.

He looked at his lifeless eyes as he opened the drawer, took out a small towel, wet it, and began rubbing it on his cheeks, disgusted.

Alexander screamed angrily as he was startled by the doorbell ringing.

Alexander knew Jace had taken the keys with him, so he ignored him before quickly changing into his boxer briefs and then an oversized shirt that reached his knees. He exited the restroom as he saw Jace holding the bags on the bed.

“Who was there at the door?” Alexander inquired, to which Jace responded, "It was me." I forgot I had the keys with me.”

Jace looked at Alexander's cheek when he noticed his left cheek, which had been kissed by Andrew, was all red. Jace could tell he had rubbed it because he scribbled something similar in the diary.

“What happened to your lovely face?” Jace inquired, caressing Alexander's cheeks, who stuttered out "I...I...I" because he had no idea what to say.

“I'm guessing you were disgusted because Andrew kissed you and you rubbed something on your cheek?” Jace sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose while Alexander whispered, "I'm sorry."

“Well, that's fine. “Just rub some cream right now and let's eat because I could faint from hunger at any time,” Jace said, changing the subject slightly as Alexander smiled and nodded his head.

Alexander massaged his face with cream as he sat next to Jace on the carpet, while Jace served Alexander a burger, fries, and cola.

“Finish everything.” Jace spoke sternly as he stole a fry from Alexander's box, who nodded his head and mumbled, "I will try."

“Did you cut your hair?” Jace inquired about touching Alexander's hair, who softly smiled and nodded his head.

“Y-Yes Jace”

“You look cute”

“T-Thank you”

Jace soon began to eat when Alexander realized how pleased Jace was while eating, causing him to laugh.

“What's the matter with you giggling?” Jace questioned stuffing his mouth with fries.

“You look adorable when you eat so happily,” Alexander said to Jace, who chuckled and nodded his head while replying, “Thank you, but I prefer handsome,” which made Alexander laugh even more.

Alexander began to eat again as he recalled Andrew saying, 'He will come to get him when Jace is not around.' Alexander was concerned because he knew Andrew might pull anything like that off.

“C-Can I ask one more favor?” Alexander inquired, hoping Jace would agree, as Jace hummed, "Hmm, go ahead cub."

“C-Could you please s-stay with me? “I-I am terrified.” Jace shrugged his shoulders as Alexander spoke in a hushed tone.

“Even if you didn't say anything, I was hoping to stay,” Jace spoke as he pointed to the shoppers who had new items that he might need for the night.

Jace decided to stay because he could tell Alexander was still afraid, and leaving someone who had just witnessed something terrifying was heartless, so Jace brought new clothes from a store for a night stay.

“T-thank you, I'll sleep on the floor,” Alexander said quietly as Jace shook his head and said, "It's your bed, so why sleep on the floor?" Alexander's face flushed red as Jace continued "Sleep on the bed."

“But it's small,” Alexander said as Jace shook his head.

"We did sleep yesterday. We will sleep together again,” Jace said as he threw the trash in the bin and took a sip of his cola.

“Are you sure?” Alexander inquired, and Jace responded. “I don't mind at all.”

“Richa might mind,” Alexander said as Jace drew the shopper and took out a fresh pair of boxers and a towel while replying, “Richa isn't here.”

Alexander was perplexed; he had no idea why Jace was acting this way or why he was being so sweet. Jace had rejected Alexander in a heartless manner, which made Alexander very sad, but now Jace was the polar opposite. Alexander was bothered by Jace's treatment of him as his mate.

“How come you're doing this?” Alexander asked, perplexed, and Jace replied, "Because I want to," causing Alexander to sigh, unsure what to do.

“You rejected me,” Alexander said as Jace hummed and nodded his head, “I know, but I just want to spend time with you.”

“I understand, but I might-” Jace cut Alexander off and said, "Fall in love with me. Yeah, I know, and it doesn't bother me because there's no harm in trying.”

“I don't understand,” Alexander said quietly, his gaze fixed on Jace, who had now stood up and walked towards the restroom.

“I'll explain in a moment,” Jace said as he sighed and closed the washroom door behind him.

Alexander was preparing stuff. He made the bed and even switched on the air conditioner before shutting the curtains hoping Jace explains himself soon.

Alexander trembled scared because the room was unusually quiet. He glanced around to distract himself when he heard the washroom door open, causing him to sigh with relief. Jace came out of the bathroom, all ready for bed, making Alexander laugh because of his messy hair.

“You have messy hair,” Alexander chuckled as he ruffled Jace's hair, making Jace laugh as he squeezed Alexander's hand.

“And you have cute curly hair,” Jace smirked, winking at Alexander, who shyly averted his gaze.

Alexander switched on the lamp as Jace walked up to the bed and sat next to Alexander, whose face had turned red.

Jace had no idea why he was acting this way, but he knew Alexander wasn't a bad guy. Jace was thinking this because of the mate bond, but he also knew Alexander had no wrong intentions.

Alexander took a deep breath and joined Jace on the ground. Jace sat up to close the lamp on Alexander's side, while Alexander yelped in embarrassment because Jace's half-body was on top of his.

“Don't worry, I don't bite,” Jace exclaimed, making Alexander frown.

Alexander averted his gaze and closed his eyes when he realized Jace was looking at him.

“It's been a really long time since I slept with anyone.” Jace smiled as he looked at the ceiling with his hand under his neck.

Alexander bit his bottom lip and stuttered, "I... It's my second time," as Jace grinned.

“Hmm...no surprise you're not at ease. “Yesterday I did stay over without telling you,” Jace said as Alexander shook his head and held the blanket tightly while whispering, “Yeah.”

Jace and Alexander remained silent as Alexander allowed Jace to hug him. Both of them enjoyed each other's company, but Alexander was still perplexed about what Jace meant before going to the restroom.

“Hey Jace,” Alexander said as Jace hummed while Alexander continued “What did you say before?” as Jace turned and looked at Alexander.

"When?" Jace inquired, and Alexander responded. “Um...when you went to the restroom?”

“I am neither accepting nor rejecting you. I simply want to take things slowly and see where they lead.” Jace clarified as he hoped Alexander understands and supports his decision because he still couldn't decide if he likes Richa or Alexander.

“Do you mean we have to wait?” Alexander inquired as Jace hummed, "Yes, we do," while sadly playing with Alexander's now-short hair.

“But we can't wait much longer, okay? Your name will vanish.”

“As if I'm going to let that happen,” Jace chuckled as he hugged Alexander, who held his hand shyly.

“Doesn't that imply you like me?” Alexander inquired, as Jace shook his head and replied, "No, but I don't hate you as well."

“You are confusing me.”

“And you make me want to tease you even more.” Jace smirked as he pinched Alexander's cheek, who said angrily, "Just sleep." I dislike being teased.”

“If I accept you, I will tease you a lot, so brace yourself.” Jace chuckled as he securely hugged Alexander, who blushed with embarrassment.

“Just sleep.” Alexander said as Jace hummed “Okay, okay, good night,”

"Good night, Jace."

Alexander tried to relax by staring at the wall with a red face. Jace was sleeping next to him and had just flirted with him a little.

Alexander had no idea what to do because he had never thought this would happen after being rejected.

Alexander was sleepy because of the darkroom. He yawned and closed his eyes, falling asleep.

When Alexander turned in his sleep and hugged Jace, Jace looked at him as he grinned and played with his hair while he let Alexander sleep on his arm.

Alexander snuggled into Jace's chest, causing Jace to sigh as he caressed Alexander's cheek, recalling what Alexander had written in his diary. He drew Alexander in by the waist and kissed his neck, then his cheek.

“Just wait, I'll kill Andrew and make sure no one ever places a hand on you,” Jace said as he wrapped a blanket around Alexander and kissed his forehead.

Jace closed his eyes and relaxed, and he soon fell asleep with Alexander embracing him.
