FIRST KISS

"W...what are...you saying. This is Aurora speaking to you not Mia " Aurora said quickly.

"Will you stop the lies? It's one thing not wanting to get married and it's another to keep pretending to be someone else. Why isn't Rico doing something about this? Why did he even let you use his phone?" Crystal demand and that got Rico taking the phone from her.

"I'm sorry about that, Crystal. I just wanted to set somethings straight. Since you are coming tomorrow for the wedding, I suggest you bring Mia things, every single one of it. See you tomorrow " he said, putting an end to the call.

"H...how can she? It's a lie, Crystal is lying to you" Aurora said quickly.

"I thought I told you that I will make you pay if it turns out you are lying" Rico said, putting his phone on the table.

"I'm not lying" Aurora said, moving back slowly, her heart pounding fast, wondering what he will do to her.

He kept closing in on her and that got Aurora running to the door but she found it locked.

She turn, starring at him helplessly, hoping he won't kill her.

He had shown that man no mercy, he will surely do the same to her, Aurora thought as she turn around, hitting the door, praying someone will come to her aid.

A scream left her lips when she felt his hands on her, he spun her around like a doll, his arms clasp around her like steel band.

"Pl...please d...don't kill me" Aurora plead, her gaze on his chest, she dare not look him in the eye.

She felt his hand against her neck and for a while she thought he will strangle her but instead, he palm her cheek forcing her to look at him.

Aurora couldn't bear to look at him and so, she close her eyes.

"Open your eyes, open them and see how I make you pay for your lies" he said softly and slowly, she did as he said.

As soon as her eyes came open, he swoop in, claiming her lips.

Aurora eyes widen in shock as she push at his chest but that got him siezing her hand to place it against the door over her head.

Aurora was helpless to his kiss, each time she clamp her mouth, he bit on it which makes her open up to him.

Never has she been kissed this way, Aurora thought as he let go of her hand to draw her close, his kiss got more hot and demanding.

When he trail kisses down her neck, Aurora found her voice and push at his chest one more time.

"Let me go" though it came out a whisper, he heard and did as she said.

Rico move away from her, trying to control himself.

"Whether you like it or not, we are getting married tomorrow, Mia" he said, turning to her.

"Once you become my wife, I won't listen to your plea, you and I will be a couple in every sense, including sharing a bed. Get some rest and don't think of running away, two guards will be position at your door from now on" he said, taking her phone.

"See you tomorrow " he said and left the room.

Aurora went down slowly till she was in a crouching position.

She will be marrying him tomorrow and there's nothing she can do to prevent it.

"Chris, where are you?" Aurora mutter, tears sliding down her cheeks.

"You've seen the boss fiancee? Is she pretty?" Mirabel, Sugar's one and only friend ask as she sit up on the bed.

"Of course not! I'm more pretty. You should have seen the way Rico ignored me earlier! It makes me furious just thinking about it" Sugar said, banging her fist on the table.

"Common! Rico might marry her but it has always been you. I'm sure he won't let you go easily"

"Come to think of it, you said you saw that Mia girl trying to leave. Don't you find it weird?" Mirabel ask.

"That's right. Seems like she was running away, could it be that she doesn't want to get married?" Sugar ask in return, a smile appearing on her face.

Dressed in a maid uniform, keep Velvet went in search of Bloom in the kitchen.

She found Bloom giving orders to some maids and waited for her to finish.

"Oh! Velvet. Are you fit enough to begin today?" Bloom ask since she is the sick recruit who was taken to the infirmary.

"I am. I overheard some guards saying a wedding will take place today and so I decided to help"

"I know I shouldn't say this but I'm glad you are here. As it is, everyone is playing their part but we need more help" Bloom inform.

"What should I help you with?" Velvet ask, prepared to work but Bloom stop her.

"Before you begin. There are things you need to know about Stone castle. I wouldn't want you stepping on the wrong person foot" Bloom said as she pull her to a chair.

"As you already know, Stone castle belongs to the stone family and since the big boss died, his son Rico took charge of things" Bloom begin.

"When it comes to Rico, we don't really do much since he prefer to clean up his mess so if you aren't called by him, do not go near his things and there is Jerome, my crazy brother"

"He is Rico right hand man and second in command, stay away from him. He is a womanizer" Bloom said.

Velvet chuckle.

"There is Sugar. After Rico and Jerome, she's the third in command and that's only because she was dating Rico but now that he's getting married, she will be losing her tittle soon which serves her right"

"Judging by your tone, you don't get along with her?" Velvet said.

"Sugar feels superior to everyone except for Rico and her bitchy friend Mirabel. Just stay out of their sight if you see them. Then there's Gray who you already met"

"He is a jerk" Velvet said, remembering the way he hit Beth the other day.

"Gray is like that to all the recruits but when you get to know him more, you will see that he isn't really harsh and lastly there is Victor"

"Who's Victor?"

"He is Rico cousin and just like Rico, he prefer his things to be left alone and he's very cold and hard to get along with. Remember not to get on his bad side" Bloom advice.

Velvet nodded, already intrigue by everyone and everything in stone castle.

It sure will be fun working here, Velvet thought.
