A frighten Aurora kept running like her life depend on it, she made a turn only to bump into someone.

"Watch where you are going!" Sugar, the lady Aurora bump into bellow.

"I'm sorry" Aurora said as she tried to leave only for Sugar to stop her.

"Who are you? I have never seen you here before" Sugar said, starring at her from head to toe.

"Am....am just a passerby. I was leaving when you...."

"Liar! You are a spy!. I'm pretty sure you were sent by one of our rival to spy on us. Well, just know that you've just dig your own grave, guards!" Sugar call and immediately, two men appear by her side.

"She's a spy, take her to the torture room while I let Rico know about this"

"I'm not a spy. You've got it wrong" Flora said as the guards begin to take her away.

"Let's see how you keep denying it once you are being tortured" Sugar said, a cruel smile splaying on her lips.

"What the hell is going on?" Rico cold tone cut through the air like a whiplash.

"I'm glad you are here, I caught a spy. She was trying to run away " Sugar said, feeling proud.

"A spy? You've got to be kidding me, let her go" Jerome said and immediately the men release her.

"Stay out of this Jerome!" Sugar warn while he laugh in return.

"I should stay out of it? That's Mia, Rico fiancee" Jerome inform.

"Really? Is she....the one?" Sugar ask, glaring at Aurora with anger now.

"Rico is the groom. Ask him if you don't believe me" Jerome reply.

Rico on the other hand wasn't even listening to Jerome and Sugar.

His gaze was solely on Aurora who he knew was trying to run away.

"Is she really your fiancee?" Sugar ask.

Rico didn't bother to answer, instead he walk towards Aurora, taking hold of her hand.

"Don't touch me!" Aurora said, pulling her hand out of his.

"Take care of things, Jerome" Rico said and scoop Aurora's slim body over his shoulder, taking her upstairs.

"Isn't she pretty?" Jerome ask, taunting a angry Sugar.

"Get lost" She said before storming off.

Chris sat on the floor, resting his back against the wall when Beth join him, offering him a snack.

"Thanks " Chris said, taking the snack to take a bite.

"I should be the one thanking you. You helped me earlier" Beth said.

"I didn't do much. What about your friend, how is she?" Chris ask.

"Velvet is fine. Once she's well enough, she will be working at the maid quarter"

"What prompt you two to working here? It's quite easy to find a job out of stone castle" Chris said softly.

"You are right. It's quite easy finding a job elsewhere but we've grown sick of it. We wanted something new which is why we came here and besides, the pay we get can last us up to three months" Beth said, chuckling softly.

"What brings you here? You are from California, right?" Beth ask.

"Yeah, am from California and unlike you guys who want something new, I'm here for the money"

"Money? Is it for your family?"

"No. For myself, I need to make money for my future and for my girlfriend " Chris said.

"You've got a girlfriend?" Beth ask as Chris show her Aurora's photo.

"She's gorgeous. You are one lucky dude" Beth tease.

"Anyway, I heard that the big boss is getting married tomorrow, are you going?" Beth ask.

"Not interested. I'd rather stay in door thinking about Aurora " Chris reply, a smile curling his lips.

"Put me down!" Aurora kept screaming as Rico carried her into a room.

He set her on her feet and immediately, she head for the door but Rico stop her.

"Don't touch me, you killer" she said, moving away from him.

"What did you just say?"

"You heard me! I saw you, I saw you kill that man. Who exactly are you? What are you? This place creeps me out, I want to leave, let me leave!" Aurora yell at him and that got him pulling her into his arms.

"I get to decide when you leave and that is never" he said, staring at her coldly.

Aurora couldn't take it anymore, she burst into tears, crying out her fear and anxiety.

Being one who doesn't know how to comfort someone, Rico let her cry.

He walk her to the bed and let her sit on it, while he stood against the window, watching her.

He didn't know why but something about her made him soft.

He's one who hardly gives a damn about anyone but here he is, worried about her.

" You know our fathers arrange this marriage. You should have prepared yourself for it"

"Have told you, I am not Mia. Why won't you believe me" Aurora said sobbing.

"Still on with that? Fine, how about we give your mom a call and confirm what you said" he suggest.

"You really will do that?"

"If that will make things clear then let's do it. If it turns out you are saying the truth, I will let you go and if it turns out you are lying, I will make you pay. One thing I hate most is lies" Rico said and Aurora gave a quick nod.

"Let's call them. They will make things clear and I will be gone" Aurora said wiping her eyes.

At last there is a way out of this horrid place, Aurora thought with relief.

"My phone battery is dead, do you mind calling them?" She added and he took out his phone to call, dialling Crystal number.

Crystal answered on the third ring and Immediately, Aurora took the phone from him.

"This is me Aurora. Am here in Italy and there have been a mistake, can you tell Mr Rico that I am not Mia but Aurora your maid. He seems to think that I am Mia" Aurora said, knowing that Crystal's answer will clear the misunderstanding.

"Who's Aurora? I clearly don't have a maid called that and quit causing Rico trouble Mia. I know you don't want the marriage but it's been decided and there's nothing you can do about it, just marry him and be his wife" Crystal said, shattering Aurora hope.
