I called the waiter to come over to me and take a piece of chocolate cookie. I was hungry but I couldn’t walk and go to the buffet table. I’m shy and I don’t like the way people look at me especially women.

I tightened my grip on the glass of wine as I watched the bulk of the man who had caused my misery in this Place today.

Ezekiel. He's near the pool flirting with more than 3 women. I can't believe.

I laughed sarcastically. He hasn't changed in the slightest.

He brought me here to be his personal assistant.

I have already rejected about 20 business calls on his business phone. That’s my job at this party.

I picked up the call but didn't answer

As I looked away my eyes went to the group of men walking towards my table where I was alone.

They all looking expensive with their suits and tuxedos and shining dark masks. It’s a masquerade ball after all.

"And you're not wearing your mask. You're exposing your beautiful face too much my lady" said another.

We are getting attention already.

I don't know how to respond especially when someone approached me and knelt in front of me.

"I've never seen such a beauty in my life. You look like an expensive princess no one worth is. But I am willing to try my luck"

I am wearing A Maddie Montreal designed lacy creme gown. Ezekiel made sure I won't make a scene with my poor taste of fashion before we came. But I don't think I look like a princess now.

Despite the black batman mask he was wearing I could see his dark eyes.
