Chapter 5 - Trapped

"You stayed in his house for the whole day? Oh my! W-What did you guys do?"

I couldn't even look at Becca after asking that question. Of course, there's nothing happened between us. It's just that... I'm shy to tell her all the details. Or maybe it's okay not to tell her all the happenings. I mean---I also have my own privacy.

I finished eating our dinner before looking at her."Nothing happened, I swear. We just signed all the documents and did his paperworks, nothing more, nothing less. I didn't tell you earlier because he's watching my actions and you might freak out."

"I did totally freak out just now! He's the CEO of the company we're working at. No girls could even stay with him for minutes because he's a sort kind of a serious guy. And now you just, stayed with him for the whole day? In his house?!" she said, emphasizing the word 'his house'.

I let out a sigh, doesn't know how to explain it."Why are you acting like that? Haven't you seen him dating or going out with another girls? It's just nothing to me because I'm his secretary. That's all I'm thinking for."

"Well, you have a point on that. But he's not really fond of talking to girls. As far as I know, you're the second secretary that he hired. Maybe he really trust you," she nodded and kept all the mess in the table.

Her words did hit me until midnight. I couldn't sleep. I'm confused why I'm too much affected about being his secretary. Like... there's nothing wrong with him. He's not that strict and doesn't know how to smile at the same time. What if he trust me? So what? Everyone can trust me because I'm good at handling someone's secrets.

I'm too tired that morning because I didn't get enough sleep. I already put a concealer under my eyes to hide my eyebags but I still look like a zombie. It's obvious the way I walk and talk.

Even if I'm on this state, I still managed to enter my office to start working. There were a lot of paperworks beside my table and they are all about investments and setting of appointments. My heard hurts when it comes to this. I still prefer my work in the province, not so hard and I can rest for hours. Until now, I don't exactly get it why he hired me as his secretary. I found out that the other professionals in the farm are all gathered on the other floor. But me, I'm in assigned in the highest floor of this company together with the CEO.

"Ms. Secretary, please come to my office. Bring those documents from the Cure-Med Pharmaceutical." The speaker said and Mr. Willson's voice is on it.

It's connected to his office so we can communication to each other in this way easier. I sighed and stretched my muscles before standing up and arranged the documents he needed. It's just five folders, though.

"Here's what you need, sir. Do you want anything else?" I asked after putting all the documents on his table.

He finished signing the papers and faced me."Can you arrange all of these so that it could be given to the staffs? They'll be the one to distribute it to the financiers."

I just nodded in response and did what he asked me to do. I had to pull a chair to his table because it's tiring if I'll keep on standing while doing this work. I'm too lazy to stand up for a couple of minutes.

It was just a piece of cake for me so I finished it in just 10 minutes. But he didn't let me go after that and gave me another work inside his office. Aren't he aware that I also have my works in my office? He's not even going to help me anyways. Ugh. Unfair!

"Just wait me for a while. I'll just finish this and we'll both go to the district office. The explanation of the new products to be exported in different countries is needed right now. You're my secretary so better help me with it," he said while writing on the documents.

I just make a sound without opening my mouth."Is it all about the newly made products? Should I make a review so that we won't be having a hard time explaining later?"

"That would be great. You're really smart, huh?" The side of his lips rose up.

I wrote a little review of the newest product of our company and he told me the details about it so that I don't have to make any research. It won't appear to the internet because it's still on review. When it is already distributed to the different countries, they will promote it if they like the products. It's the time when those products will be known worldwide.

I brought the little notebook of mine where I wrote the reviews while he's holding nothing. His actions were really formal and I can't help but to stare at his muscular back while walking towards the elevator. I'll just look away whenever he's going to ask me something and most especially when he will turn his gaze on me.

When we finally entered inside the elevator, he pressed the fifth floor since we're on the 15th. I just waited while we were going down and meters apart from each other. I don't want to be near with him. It's going to give me an unusual feeling I don't like.

"Oh my god! What's happening?!" I yelped when the elevator suddenly moved faster and then the lights inside were turned off.

I felt his hands on my weight, trying to support me."I don't know. It's either the elevator has a damage or the whole company is experiencing a blackout."

"How could you be so sure that we're on a blackout? If that's it, we can't get out of here and will wait for several hours to be rescued." I rolled my eyes irritatingly even if he couldn't see me.

"It's the same as when the elevator has a damage. We couldn't get out of here. All we have to do is to wait for hours, probably."

I couldn't see his reaction because it's too dark. My phone! I tried to search my phone in my pocket but it's not here. Why did I forgot to bring it in this situation?! Well, who knows it would happen right?

"Argh! Too unlucky today. We don't have flashlights and I don't have my phone with me. How about you, sir?" I move away from him because I'm already feeling uncomfortable.

I heard him chuckled a bit."It's just fine with me to be stuck here with you. At least, it's my secretary. Nothing's wrong with it."

"Are you being serious? Why would it be fine?! First, we're stuck here in the elevator and we don't have any idea what's happening outside. Second, it's kinda tiring to stand up here for hours. And third, we have a meeting to attend. Goodness! I'm gonna freak out!" I tried to inhale and exhale, hoping it would calm me down.

Again, I felt him beside me and holds my waist."There, I'll support your weight. Don't wory about anything. As long as we're safe, it's alright."

My breathe became heavy and didn't bothered to talk again. H-He's near on me again! Why is he doing this?! His affection towards me is a different feeling for me. Like an electricity that runs on my body whenever he's going to touch any part of me.

It's not right. This is not right. A CEO of this company is acting unbelievable towards his secretary? Gosh! I don't want to be a talk of the town.

"S-Sir, can you move away from me? It's just that... I-I'm feeling hot," I said nervously.

"Hmm, hot? Is it because of the atmosphere or my presence on you?" he asked seductively.

"B-Both. So please... m-move away now. I-I don't like it." I get off his hands on my waist and started walking on the other side but he grabbed it again causing us to fell on the floor.

I was lying while he's on my top. Our position right now is quite seductive. I avoid him and was about to stand up but he didn't let me. Instead, he changed our position and let me sit on his lap.

What is he fucking doing with me?!

"You're really tempting me from the very start, Caine. I'm not gonna call you Ms. Secretary when there's no one around us and I hope you should too. Call me Knox when it's just the two of us. Get it?" he whispered to my ear, adding the temptation I'm feeling.

I nodded because it's making me crazy. It's not just he's near with me. Our body touches each other and it's not helping for us to stop ourselves. He's like hugging me so I can't make any move. Seems like letting him do what he wants is my ony one option.
