It has been three days now since the supreme Alpha passed out. I still can't believe it, touching the necklace around my neck and a smile crept up to my face. I have already fallen in love with it. I know it's crazy but without this necklace, I would have been dead by now.

I sighed, so many things happened in a day. It's been three days and yet Alpha Sheila has not woken up. The doctors said I should stay beside her since I'm her mate, they said it's going to help her to wake up faster. I'm afraid adding that she doesn't like me, I don't know what her reaction will be when she wakes up.

For the past three days that I've been with her in her room, I've come to get used to staring at her pale and beautiful face. I know it's crazy, but thinking about it gets my chest to tighten every passing minute. I know there is no way we can get to be one. Not when I'm just an omega and she is the supreme Alpha of the entire supernatural world. I stand no chance with her.

Remembering how she nearly killed me a few days ago, I know my little fantasy will be asking for the impossible to happen. Apart from my poor status, I have an illness that is going to take my life in a short time. My parents and I have tried to look for a cure but damn! A poor and helpless omega like me has no choice, I wonder what the moon goddess was thinking when she mated me to her.

I look down at her sleeping face, my heart reverberates as I stare at her pale yet beautiful face, her thick lashes, her straight nose, beautifully structured face, every fucking thing about her is to die for. I know she's ruthless, but she's one-of-a-kind beauty. I was still in thought when I felt movement on the bed. I looked at the Alpha to see her struggling to open her eyes, happiness filled my heart for reasons I don't know, as I sat patiently waiting for her to open her eyes.

"What happened?" She asks as she tries to recall her environment

"Your Majesty…" I called, her eyes snapped towards me and just like she was recalling something her eyes started changing colors, I don't know for some reason I couldn't stand up from the seat, maybe I was afraid of what she's going to do to me.

"How dare you sit here beside me, how dare you, Eden!!!!" She growl, but I sat still with my head bent,

"Fucking stand up you low life" She curse, I could feel streams of tears brim my eyes, but I blink them back. They are only going to show her how weak I am. I stood up and turned but I dare not stare into her eyes.

"Who ordered that you stay here with me? Who!!!!?" She roared.

"It's…..it's….the doctor…."

"Fucking look at me while talking" She cut me off"

I sighed and looked up, her piercing gaze bore into mine, her eyes filled with rage.

"Your Majesty, you have been unconscious for three days and the doctor said I should stay beside you to help you wake up fast"

"Hmmmmm……" He growl and turned her back at me, with her fist balled,

"How did you get into Blackheart?"

I sighed since that's a very sensitive topic for me, not even Nana knows about it.

"The hell speak when I ask a question!!!" She turned hastily, lashing out her anger at me.

"I was thrown out of my pack"

"And why?"

"I've been mated to the Betta's daughter before, but she rejected me"

"Is that your first rejection?"

"No...I've been rejected twice before" I answered with gritted teeth, battling with my unshed tears

"Hmmm...you're quite a rejected soul, I don't blame them who would want nothing like you for a mate" She laughed sarcastically.

"I wonder what gave the moon goddess the guts to mate me to a shameless, filthy omega like you"

"I know it's impossible for me to be your mate, the heavens and the earth can never be one. I will leave and you will never see me again, I'm sorry for causing you trouble"

"Ha…...ha…..ha…...ha….." She laughed catching me off guard, I thought she's going to be happy that I'm leaving

"You lie, Eden, you're going nowhere" She snarled and walk closer to me

"I Alpha Sheila will make sure I put you through hell, for ever being my mate, I will make you feel pain and what it's like to be rejected, I will destroy you for any other woman, I will be your worst nightmare"

"Your Majesty……" The door slammed open, and a handsome huge man looking wealthy walked in

"How are you, hope you're okay?" He ask checking the Alpha Sheila out, for some reasons my chest tightened, seeing the way he's touching her,

"I'm fine Edward" Alpha Sheila spoke up as she pushed him a little bit away from her.

"Who's he?" He asks looking at me, jealousy lacing through his voice, I huff inwardly already getting the scene,

''He should thank his god I'm a nobody, if not I would have stood up to him" I spoke inwardly.

"My so-called mate," Alpha Sheila said, I felt like a knife have pierced my heart, seeing my mate address me like that, but what was I thinking

"He's a nobody, how can the moon goddess mate you to a worthless shit like him" He pointed at me,

I growled and balled my first.

"Enough Edward, Eden from henceforth, you're going to be leaving in the servant quarters, you're a servant and that's what you'll remain, I'll call you when I need your services, Edward shows him the quarters"

I could see the smirk on Edwards' face as he started walking out while I followed behind. I closed the door immediately after we walked out of the Alpha's room.

Edward stopped and turn to me

"Don't ever think of a future with the Alpha, a hopeless omega like you can never be her match"

I sighed, wondering why he's telling me this, even a blind man can see that I'm nobody, I smirk and step closer to him.

"You don't have to be so worked up, I know what you're afraid of"

"You can never be a match for the Alpha" He snarled

"Don't be so sure, words can backfire you know….." I smile and wink at him, before walking off.
