/ C H A P T E R / 7 /

**Point of view of Amber White**

Time sure flies cause it's already lunchtime and I am in front of Ace's room, can you believe it, cause I can't that I am doing this. I knocked and entered after hearing a come in.

Now, this is what you call walking into a lion's den for real. No, maybe this is more like putting myself in a lion's mouth saying 'go on eat me'

As I entered, I see Ace setting on the couch playing with a Rubik's cube. He looked up at me and then solved it in a blink of an eye. His eyes light up and he smiled looking at me making my heart skips a beat.

"Hello, Amber. You know you don't need to knock" He stated.

"What do you want?" I asked him with a blank face as always.

"Go sit there," he said pointing to the bed and I obeyed.

There is no reason for me not to. I have already come here so might as well do as he says and gets out of here as fast as I can. I can also confirm what I feel for him. It will help me with what I should do next.

As I sat on the bed, he walked towards me. He wouldn't do anything right, he promised he wouldn't. I watched him walking to me and he laid on the bed placing his head on my lap.

"What....t....a.. are you doing?" why is my voice creaking. I never do that. What is he doing to me? Get a hold of yourself girl.

"Sleeping," he said and closed his eyes. Somehow, I am disappointed just a little, I swear just a little bit.

I looked at him. Now that I see he have very long eyelashes and his hair, they look so dark, black, soft, and silky. I want to touch his hair.

He is sleeping right, if I touch just a little then it should be fine, and he wouldn't know it. Before I knew it, I was already playing with his hair and I was right, they are really soft like silk.

I jerked my hands back when I realized what I was going through. I don't want to wake him up but suddenly he groaned and grabbed my hand putting back on top of his head.

"You can play with my hair," he said.

I smiled and started playing with his hair again. This time I know what I am feeling. It's the feeling of comfort, warmness, being protected, and happiness. I touched my chest and feel my heart pounded against my hand.

I signed, it seems like I have fallen in love with this fellow but the main question right now is what will happen next. I myself don't know now what to do, Should I be with him for the year, or should I run away? You never know what's going to happen in the future.

After sometime later I pulled a novel from my bag and decided to read it. suddenly someone slammed open the door and a barbie doll came in. She has long blond hair, big anime eyes, wearing a cute frock, and high heels.

Her eyes scan the room as if she is looking for something and when her eyes find us it widens. She seems angry for some reason. She is thrown daggers at me with her eyes. Have I done something wrong? but I haven't even like......... moved a finger.

"What the fuck are you doing with my Ace you bitch?" She yells her lungs out.

My Ace. Somehow It annoyed me when she said it. It made me want to beat her up or maybe I should.

Ace snatches my book and throws it towards the girl, with his eyes closed. Impressively it did hit her head. She grabbed her head and took a step back because of the impact. She looked up furiously and clenched her hand.

"You are being noisy," Ace said.

I looked down and hit his head, lightly. He put his hands on his head looking up at me with now opened eyes.

"What was that for?" he asked with a small pout which made me want to giggle but I stopped. He looks so cute.

"I was reading that book " I faked shouted at him as he chuckles.

"I will buy a whole library for you, my queen" I blushed at my nickname given by him.

"Shut up" I commanded but I like it.

"As you wish your highness" Ace said and took my hand in his, kissing the back of my hand making me blush even more.

This whole time I could feel her glare piercing into my skin, and I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it, making her angry. It is like she could explode at any moment.

"What," I said with a smirk as I turned to look at the girl.

"Bitch I said stay away from my man" she shouted. I swear her face is as red as a tomato. Someone is really angry.

"I swear Lucy if you ever call her that again, I will make your life a living hell. Understand" Ace grumbled still laying on my lap, I can feel anger and domination in his voice.

I see the girl, Lucy who's the name I just got to know, tremble a little as she looked down. Well, isn't it a good show to watch?

"B...b..ut.....I..." she cut herself up when Ace glared at her. She sealed her lips and nodded.

"Good now get out," he said still laying on my lap.

He grabbed my hand and put it on his head. I stared down at him as he does the same and stared at me. It's like he wants me to do something but What does he want me to do?

Ohh...he wants me to play with his hair and I exactly did that. I still can feel her presence, so I looked up and see her glaring at me. I smirked again and raised an eyebrow.

"Just you wait," she said gridding her teeth and left storming her feet.

In this whole time of her glaring and me smirking, I stopped my hand without even realizing it. Ace again grabbed my hand looked up at me like 'don't stop' which made me giggle.

"You are acting like a baby" I smiled at his behavior.

Look at his face, it's like someone stole his candy. He stares at me for a while and started to smile. What is he smiling at?

"What, " I asked confused.

"You look even more beautiful when you smile," he said still staring at me, smiling like a maniac.

I feel my cheeks heating up and I am sure I am the one looking like a tomato now. I placed my hand on his eyes making him close his eyes.

"Sleep or I will leave," I said flushed.

"Cute" is all he said and sleeps.

I like it when he is around me, but he is my rival. I can't get close to him even if I want to. In the field, I am in, I can't use my heart even if I want to. So, I do everything using my head.

But he makes me want to use my heart and I don't want it. I need to avoid him as much as I can but the thing is can I?

Will I able to avoid him and I am not sure if he loves me, or he is just playing with me. I have realized that I do love him, but I don't know how strong they are.

I am just going to analyze Ace for a day or two and after that, I will conclude that should I stay with him for the time being or not. Anyway, I'm going to be in this school for only one year.

After one year I have to go back whether I like it or not and I will add one more secret to my collection that I have someone I love.
