/ C H A P T E R / 5 /

**Point of view of Amber White**

"Time to wake up kitten" someone whispered in my ears.

I don't want to wake up, I am just too comfortable and warm that it feels too good to wake up. I am afraid that if I wake up this warmness will disappear.

I moved towards the warmness and Someone chuckles.

"I would also like to cuddle you all day but we have to eat something" someone whisper again and I realized that someone is sleeping next to me, cuddling me.

My eyes snapped open and see who it was, Ace. For a second, I froze there admiring him. He is glorious, he has dark eyes which are deep, beautiful, and dangerous. I don't have words to explain how he looks.

He is smiling looking at me. not any smile but a generous smile making him look even more beautiful. It's like he is shining and the time had stopped. Is it normal to happen? What is wrong with me?

I feel my heart skip a beat. My hand automatically went to my chest, I can feel my heartbeat against my hand, am I sick? I quickly snap out of my daze and jumped out of the bed and took a few steps back, away from him with a crazy blush on my face. Am I blushing? But how?

"How.......why are you here?" I said in surprise and it was all I could speak.

Why was Ace sleeping next to me? Don't tell me this is his room.

"Well, my dear kitten this is my private room you are in so I should be the one asking you that," he said in a calm and husky voice. His voice is so possessive. I feel like it can hypnotize me.

Oh no, snap out of it Amber, this instant. This can't be, how did I end up like this? No, the question is how did I end up like this with HIM? I should have known when I saw no one in the corridor. Who else will have a room like this in a school? Stupid. stupid you let your emotions control you, stupid.

I looked at him. He is still smiling. He stands up and started to walk towards me. I made a run to the door but just in three steps, I lose my balance. Crap, I feel dizzy must be because I haven't been eating well lately. and since I just woke up a while ago the dizziness is still here. Fuck why now.

I was about to hit the floor when two big arms held me by my waist preventing me to fall and I know just who it is. He pulled me to his hard chest. I inhaled his scent, woods.

"What happened? are you ok?" he asked all worried. Does He care for me? Why? He turned me to face him.

"I... Am. fine" I replied looking away with an emotionless expression.

"Let's get you checked," Ace said and was just about to walk but was stopped by me.

"No...I am completely fine. I am just a little dizzy cause I am running low in energy, anyway I just woke up so it may be the cause" I tried to convince him with reasons that I am fine and it seems like he bought it.

"Okay then let's get your energy back. You haven't eaten lunch yet maybe that's why you are running low in energy" He said still smiling.

How can someone smile this much? The only face I know is expressionless. I hardly smile. I was pulled out of my thoughts when I suddenly can't feel the floor as Ace has picked me up in a bridal carry.

"What are you doing, let me down" I shouted as he carries me to the bed.

But when I realized that I shouted I quickly put my hands over my mouth. What am I doing? I hardly express myself to anyone even if I am very angry or sad 

He sits on the bed putting me on his lap so that my right side my against him. I tried to break free but he held me by wrapping his hand around my waist. I have to say he is strong. I can't fight with him cause first This is his area he can catch me easily and second, I can't make him suspicious of me.

A woman entered the room, she must be at least 45, who knows. She is holding a food tray. She put it on the bed and left. Ace picked the fork with food and put it in front of my mouth. I gave him a confused look. 

"Eat," he commanded.

"No, I am good, thank you. I just want to go back to my house. I will eat later" I replied.

This time I was able to hold my expression very well. I tried to stand up but failed.

"No kitten you are not going anywhere." he smiles and tightens his grip.

"Why are you calling me a kitten? and Why can't I? it's dark already and I want to go back" I protesters with a plain face and voice.

But deep inside I don't want to go. I know I will only be alone there but I also can not stay with him can I.

"We will talk after we eat," he said.

I looked at him and see his determined eyes. Damn, I know these determined eyes cause they resemble mine.

"You are not going to go back on this are you" I raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, now eat or we will be like this forever not that I mind," he said and put the fork in front of my mouth again.

"I have hands I can eat myself," I retorted.

I waited for him to put the fork down but he didn't so I tried to get another fork which was prevented by him.

"What's your problem? What do you exactly want from me?" I said getting frustrated letting my expression slip.

"I want you to eat and I am going to feed you" he smiled innocently.

Seriously how can someone smile so much? It's getting on my nerves but it's also making me jealous. But right now, the main thing is, Is he kidding me? I waited for him to break into laughter but he didn't. He is not kidding. I let out a sigh and took a bite.

"Good girl," he said smirking. Oh, just how I would love to wipe that smirk from his face.

The rest of the dinner was in a pin drop silence. I would lie if I say I am not loving it. I always used to have my food alone in the big room and it sucks.

But this is also a little uncomfortable since he is staring at me like I am something precious that he can't take his eyes off even for a sec. After eating I attempted to get up again but he didn't let me.

"No kitten you are not going anywhere. I changed my mind you are staying with me. I am taking you to my house" he said in my ears giving me shivers down my spine. This can't be any good can it be.

"What do you mean," I said while thinking of a way out.

"I mean what I said Amber, I am not letting you go," he said with a devilish smile.

OK. You gotta get out of here Amber. Think, think a way out Amber think. I looked around the room and see three doors. One is for entry, one is the bathroom I guess and the third one I don't know and I don't care. There is also a window from where the wind is coming from cooling the room.

"I want to stand up. I have been sitting and sleeping all this time so you know" I said and he let me go. I take this chance to run for the door.

"Do you think I am that stupid, Amber, the door is locked" he said, I can't see his face but I know he is smirking.

"No I don't but I am also not an idiot too" I sprinted to the window and jumped out of the room. Fortunately, it was open.

I turned to see Ace with a wide eye and I winked at him it's my turn to smirk. After a second, he smirked too and I know something is coming for me but I don't give a fuck right now, I need to get outta here. 

He raised his hand and waved to me smiling as if he found just what he was looking for. With that, I went to the parking lot. I know the direction since this was where I was yesterday while I was reading the book.

I ran to my jeep and I drive to my house at full speed confirming that no one was following me. I had to leave my bag but fortunately, I had my keys and phone in my pocket.
