Big sloth

In a nightclub a man was drinking alcohol with his friend.

"So you're going to marry Natasha." asked his friend Steve.

“I have to do it.” replied Leonard Evans

“Enjoy your last days of being single buddy, I’m going to miss you.”

“Marriage for me is just a formality, I will never be a prisoner of a woman.”

“You say as if you were already married, I wonder how you do it without having beautiful girls surrounding you like bees.”

“I don’t like women but I respect them, being rich is not synonymous with having many women.” replied Leonard directing his glass to his lips.

“If I were you, all the girls would be at my mercy.”

“Stop talking nonsense, we have to go home, it’s getting late.” said Leonardo, getting up.

"You can beat me to it, I'm not leaving without a sexy girl. Let me enjoy my youth."

“As you wish, we’ll call each other then.

Leonard leaves and starts his car while Samuel stays looking for a girl with whom he will have fun.

Valérie woke up early the next morning to make breakfast. Thierry showered and joined her in the living room.

“My wife woke up early today.” he said.

“My meal was disrupted last night, my stomach was growling all night.”

“You had to tell me that you were hungry, we were going to go out and eat at the restaurant.”

"I didn't want to disturb you, let's go to dinner, I don't want you to be late." she said as she sat down.

“My boss has a two-month trip, I have to go with him.” said Thierry.

“Why is it going to take so long?”

“He’s the boss, I’m just following his instructions.”

“Okay, when is that due?”

“Tomorrow morning.”

"Tomorrow morning? And are you telling me now?"

“I wanted to talk to you about it yesterday but given what happened, I didn’t want to disturb you further.”

“I’m going to face your family alone for two whole months?” asked Valérie worriedly.

"Just ignore them like you always do my love, it's only two months and we'll be together."

"I'm going to miss you, I've never been alone for so many days." She was sad

"Don't act like I'm leaving for good. Now eat so you won't be late." consoled Thierry.

After the meal they each went to their own occupation.

In a large penthouse, a beautiful and elegant middle-aged woman was sitting on the living room sofa arranging her uncles. She looked bad.

"I don't ask how long she'll be hanging out in her room." she said to herself.

"I'm here mom, you'll quickly get wrinkles with your grumpy attitude." spoke her daughter Mira who came out of her room.

"You know I don't like being late and I don't like taking second choice from anyone in the store."

“It’s okay, I’m done, we can leave.” They headed towards the elevator. Arriving on the ground floor, the driver opened the doors for them and they got in.

“Where are you going today, ladies?” asked the driver.

“Take us to Diamond first.” group." replied Mira's mother Ruth.

At this time, the city was very busy. Some went to work in companies, others went in search of work to support themselves and others had nothing to do with money and spent it tirelessly on shopping as was the case of Ruth and her daughter. The driver drove slowly to Diamond group. It was a large, beautiful fifteen-story building that had different sections.

Mira and her mother went downstairs and headed towards the front door.

“Which section shall we start with today?” Mira asked.

“Let’s go to the clothing section first.” replied his mother.

This was their routine.

Leonard was still sleeping when his phone rang, it was Samuel.

“I’m still sleeping.” he replied half asleep.

“Wake up you big sloth.” replied Samuel.

"Can you let me enjoy my vacation? I don't like bullshit this morning."

“Your mother-in-law and your half-sister robbed the stores again today.” Samuel informed.

“I don’t care about their lives, let them enrich me.”

“Aren’t you going to go home?” asked Samuel.

"Not now, I don't like seeing their faces. I'll stay here again and rest.

“As you wish, wake up and meet me at the restaurant for breakfast.”

" I'm coming." replied Leonard.

Since his mother's death, Leonard has always been lonely because his stepmother did not love him even when his mother was alive. On the other hand Robert Evans his father, loved and cherished his mother as his first wife Ruth because his marriage to Ruth had been arranged and he did not love her at all. But when he met Rebecca, Leonard's mother, it was love at first sight between the two and they decided to get married. He got up and went to the bathroom; he came out a few minutes later in a towel tied to his waist. He got dressed and joined Samuel at the restaurant.

"What a lazy old man! I wonder how you managed to start Diamond Group with this attitude." Samuel joked.

“Because I have workaholics like Samuel on my team.” replied Leonard in the same tone.

"It's not possible, I spent the night with two beautiful bombshells and I'm in good shape but you, who made no effort, sleep like a baby."

“If I came on vacation it’s to rest, women’s stories don’t interest me.” replied Leonard.

"Won't you be helpless by any chance? You're constantly running away from girls." Samuel joked, lowering his voice. They have been friends for years but he has never seen Leonard around a girl.

“Would you like to try it and see?” asked Leonard, smiling.

"No thanks, I'm not gay. If you want I can recommend you to some hot girls here." Samuel suggested.

“Keep talking on this subject again and I will end your vacation.”

"No thanks, I won't talk about that anymore. I'm having such a good time here that I want to stay here all my life."

"Your life of debauchery will destroy you. Well let's order, I'm already very hungry."

They placed the order and ate calmly.
