~ Guide ~

Mae's POV

I’m on my way to Mr. M’s office since he mentioned that he will be here today. I just hope that he will revoke the punishment or maybe change it. Because I didn’t know how will I feel when we are together.

The guard let me in and wait for the alpha to come. Technically, he is not yet here.

The crescent necklace caught my attention again while I’m looking around. I walk towards to it.

Just like yesterday, I tried to touch it which I did. But the moment I touch the necklace, my head hurts. Like it was being squeezed. Unconsciously, I let go of it.

The pain suddenly fades but it’s still hurts a little and bearable. When I feel that someone is coming, I immediately hide my presence and scent.

My back is facing them, I bet they didn’t notice me yet. So I face them already, the thought of it’s Mr. M, is true but he is not alone, I guess, the punishment is really going on and there is no turning back.

"Mr. Maxwell" I greeted the alpha.

"Oh, Mae, you’re here. What are you doing here? Your timing is great, meet my son. Meet my son. Michael Zekiel Maxwell. He is the one you’ll guide starting today." He said with a smile.

"Nice meeting you Mr. Maxwell." I plainly greet.

"What? Are you serious dad? She will be my tour guide?"-him

"Yeah, I don’t see any problem with that." Alpha

"I’ll go ahead Mr. Maxwell, I still have a class. If ever you need me Mr., just go to gymnasium and tell them you are looking for Weirdo.” I said my goodbye and went out of the Alpha’s office.

He really doesn’t want me huh. Tsk, did he even ask me if I like him? I don’t like him too, duh.

Nothing unusual happened except the whole day boring class.

I didn’t know how, but I am sure that, I did hide my scent and presence. Because if I didn’t, he must be here early after of what so ever he is doing.

I’m listening music with my headphone when one of my youngest teammates got my attention.

"Mae, someone is looking for you." -her

"Who?" -me

"Mr. Maxwell’s son, he said his Michael." She said with a wide smile.

"Why the hell are you smiling like that? You creep."-me

"You two are perfect together." If you know the truth the he hates human. What would you say then? Tsk, never mind.

"Tsk." I said and get my sling bag and went out where that werewolf is.

"And you have a guts to make me wait huh, woman." He said with visible irritation.

"Follow me." I said and turn my back on him.

"Hey, I’m still talking to you. Don’t turn your back on me. " Zeke, Maybe that better than Michael. I will call him Zeke.

"I'm your tour guide here in YOUR university. Not a friend or what so ever. Stop nagging.” I said in cold and plain tone. To hide the pain of rejection from yesterday.

"Haist, So this is the reason why dad choose you huh. To lost my patience. Well, we won. I’m losing it already."

"You act like a spoiled brat girl. You are the heir of Mr. Maxwell, so you have to know everything about this school. I think I have now an idea why Mr. Maxwell throw you in this university." I state the fact to his face, to make him angry.

"What did you just said?" He said angrily.

"You didn’t know how to value many things in earth. Touchable or untouchable." I continued.

I didn’t hear him talk back, so I continue to walk and told him everything I know about this university.

Until we got here in front of Mini Forest.

"For sure, You already this place. The place where we first met yesterday. They called it Dark Forest Because of some wild animals within." - me

"If that so, why are you here yesterday. " Zeke

"Tsk. None of your business Mr. My work is done here. If you have any concerns or questions, you know where and how to find me."-me

I turn my back and about to leave when he talk.

"Why?"-him. I face him with confusion.

"Why you didn’t accept my rejection?"-him

Oh, I see. Because it’s freaking hurts. That is what I want to say, but.

"What? Why would I accept it? As I can remember, I didn’t say anything yesterday to make you reject me. And besides, I have no freaking idea why are you rejecting me. I don’t have any reason to accept it, anyway." I said with a bored tone and look at him like I saw him as a crazy and lunatic man.

"I will repeat it one last time. I’m expecting you to accept it, my rejection” -him

"You look like a lunatic man. If I were you, I will stop this non-sense." I said before I finally walk pass and away from him. I hear him calling my name but I just ignore it.

Is he insane? Doesn’t he knows what might happen to him one’s I accept his rejection? Tsk.

I joined to our training for today and went home after that.

I felt a sudden pain on my forehead. But when I touched it, there nothing on it. Damn it, what the hell is happening to me? I suddenly felt an urge to look up at the sky, and there’s a beautiful full moon.

I decide to go for a walk going inside to our brgy. I’m walking peacefully when my phone vibrate.

Tsk. They’re going to waste their time and strength. I continue walking until I reach put house.

"Eat up, sweetheart." My mother said. When I look at her she is also looking at me. To be exact, she is looking at my face.

"What’s wrong Mom?" I asked her.

"What happened to your face?" Haist, Damn. I touched my cheek. I almost forgot that I got a scratch and hide it from her.

"Ah. It’s nothing Mom, from training. You know, I overdo it hehehe. It’s just a scratch." I said with a smile to assure her. I never smile to anyone except to my family, Mary and Clair.

"Tsk. Fine, eat and clean yourself, also your wound before you sleep. I’ll get going. Take care sweetheart" She said before she go with her old bike.

I think I should buy her new one. But she might ask where I got the money. Whatever, I will just make a reasons.
