~Meeting the Alpha~

Mae's POV

Nothing unusual happened during weekends. And today is Monday and as usual it’s back to school again.

I’m walking while my music is on, and with that, I didn’t know that there is someone blocking the way. Accidentally I bumped to someone who has a stone body in front of me. Freak, my forehed bumped into… (I look at someone’s back) ok, to someone’s back.

With the impact I cause from bumping him, he faced me slowly. He face me with a calm face and stairs at me. He looks like he’s in mid-40’s.

"I didn’t mean to, Mr. " I said while I bow my head. He has this overwhelming power with authority. And because of what I felt when I bumped into him. That’s weird.

"It’s nothing, I would like to say sorry too. We are also blocking the way. You can walk through." The old man said and give me a way. And walk passed to them.

"Alpha, the prince is on his way in her.” I heard from the man on the right side of the old man.

OMG... Alpha? As in Alpha of werewolves or maybe it’s just his name? But it feels to different. Haist, never mind. I will find the answer later.

But they also mention a word ‘prince’. It is so common if you give your child a name Prince. But’ anyways, it’s their own opinion not mine. Why do I even care?

'Because of the word alpha. It caught your attention. It’s a werewolf thing.' My conscience said.

Yeah right. I failed to notice that I am already in front of our classroom because of my craziness, talking to myself.

To add to my craziness and weirdo personality, I decided to hide my presence. Well I've been trying to hide my presence. I forgot why, I just want to.

Maybe it’s time to try it again. Besides there is nothing wrong about it.

Just like the old times, after class I went straight to our school department and waited her for Clair and Mary so we can eat our lunch at food court.

And here we go again, like we are always destined to see each other. The bitch is here again walking with her Arnis towards my direction.

Tsk, Is she planning to fight with me one on one? I wander, what did she do to have an approval from her coach?

"Oh your here already. I have been waiting for you. As far as I know, all athletes have a training for incoming Inter College but you are not joining your teams training. For sure your weak just like the last time." Meet Erin the traitor.

"So what? Why? You have someone in mind to knock out and you train yourself so hard huh? Erin." I coldly said to her. It seems like she didn’t like what I said base on her facial expression. I saw her walking towards to her coach and said something. After that she came back where she left me.

"I want a fight. Me against you. Me having this Arnis and you having your skills in taekwondo." She said while smirking at me. That made all of our audience in here shock. She’s gone crazy. It’s prohibited by the law of combative coaches in our school to fight or to challenge your co-athlete in one on one fight especially if you are both not in the same team. But she have the guts. After she came back from 1 semester of vacation she will just going to ruin the name of combative.

"Erin, it’s not allowed. You'll be punish." After her coach said that, he did talk to my coach.

"If I win, You’ll going to kneel down in front of me. But take note, not only you. Same goes with your teammates and your coach.” She proudly said and totally insane. She needs to lecture.

"What? Erin. Are you gone crazy?. You have no rights to do that." Her coach said with anger. I look at their direction and to my coach. Arnis coach give me a look of asking an apology while my coach is full of concern. Tsk. Just go with the flow Mae.

"It’s up to her. If she refuse then she'll still do the same. Now, What is your condition if you’ll win? Well, we both know that you’re not going to win against me." She said full of confidence.

"Challenge accepted." I plainly said.

We position in the center of the gymnasium. I can sense that someone is watching us. Tsk, stupid Mae, of course there’s a lot of student watching.

"Before I forgot, If I win this game, I want you to ask a forgiveness for all the things you’ve done to me and to everyone who you’ve done wrong. And quit as an Arnis team because you are just a shame either you win or not. Aside from that, I am sure that there is no group will accept you because of this prohibited challenge you made." Tsk. I talk too long. My jaw hurts.

"You think I will do it? Never, so let’s start the game.” Erin said.

"You will." I said while avoiding her attacks.

Third person point of view

The Alpha saw and heard everything what’s happening inside the university’s gymnasium. He ‘s just silently observing what would happen next. He was about to stop the commotion but when he saw the girl that accidentally bumped him lately, He decided not to interfere and observe the surroundings. Because he can feel that there is something in that young girl that he don’t know and he can’t understand.

"Alpha, Aren’t we going to stop them? They are just humans but look at them, causing troubles to each other. " One of the pack warrior said.

"No, just watch and learn. " He replied.

Mae's POV

I’m just keep on avoiding her attack which makes her think that I’m scared of her. Tsk, I just don’t like to step down on her level.

"Fight back! Weak bitch.” -Erin

"Referring to yourself huh." I said with a smirk in my face. That makes her angry. Fine, just this once. I give her what she wants.

I intentionally let my right cheek hit. But it doesn’t mean I won’t fight back. I just make a way for me to fight and win this crazy game of her

"One point for me." She said with a victorious smile, but it fades away when she saw my smirking face.

"But not yet over." In a second, I manage to come to her closer while I said those words and gave her a 45 kick, elbow strike to her back that will cause a pain and take her down by folding her back knee.

"Now, its over. I won Erin. Now it’s your turn to do the dare." I said seriously.

"Bwhahaha .. Do you really think i will do such thing? Of course not. Because we are not yet done. No one is allowed to win this game but me, only me. I’m the only one will end this game." She said and about to hit me with her Arnis, I didn’t bother to move because I know, I can easily avoid it.

"Enough." That voice full of authority. I heard a gasp from the people that surrounds us while looking at the person who own that voice.

What’s going on? Why do they look like they have seen a freaking ghost?

Owh, It’s him, the one that they called Alpha, earlier.

"Mr. Maxwell. Have are you doing here?" The student council president ask. Eh? I didn’t notice that the whole student committee is here.

"I didn’t expect that I will witness this kind of event during my visit" He said plainly.

"I'm very sorry about what happened Mr. Maxwell. I promise that they both going to receive a rightful punishment” SC President said.

Tsk, punishment? I don’t care.

"I will be the one to decide." Mr. Alpha

"You Ms. Wearing a white Shirt (Erin), as a player you should do whatever the both parties agreement. As of the owner of this school, I will give you a punishment for challenging your co-athlete and for violating the combative rules. As for you young lady, come with me to my office." Mr. Alpha said.
