This caused a commotion at the entrance, with people rushing to help Kimora while others tried to get a glimpse of Ameera. But Ameera ignored the commotion, and kept walking, her head held high. She didn't want to be distracted from her goal.
When she reached the VIP area, she was greeted by a host of celebrities and industry insiders. Everyone wanted to talk to her, but she kept her focus on her purpose for being there. She wanted to make the most of this opportunity.
But then, she Kimora rushed to her
“Ma’am it’s so nice to meet you,I’ve been wanting to meet you all my life”Kimora muttered senselessly
“It’s not nice to meet you, can’t you leave already” Ameera scoffed angrily leaving Kimora in a confusing state
Kimora's smile immediately faded, replaced by a look of hurt and confusion. She looked around at the people watching them, and felt the blood rush to her face. She tried to speak, but the words wouldn't come out. She just stood there, frozen, not knowing what to do.
Ameera walked away without another word, leaving Kimora feeling humiliated and devastated. She had come all this way to meet her idol, and this was how it had ended. She felt like a fool.
"Excuse me," Kimora mumbled, trying to hold back tears. She tried to touch Ameera again but she only received a slap from her
“I hate obsessed fan like you,are you expecting me to hug you or kiss you?” Ameera said and everyone was watching them
Some people tried to take videos but the guards in the room stopped them
“Learn how to understand the word,it’s not nice to meet you” Ameera said and walk away with voila who was wondering why Ameera was so harsh on the innocent fan
Voila followed Ameera, feeling a mix of confusion and concern. She had never seen Ameera act this way before, and she didn't understand what had gotten into her. Was it something to do with Thomas? Or was there something else going on?
As they walked, Voila tentatively spoke. "Ma’am , I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm concerned about you," she said, her voice soft.
"You're not yourself today. Is everything okay?"
Ameera stopped and turned to Voila, her expression unreadable.
"I'm fine," she snapped, a hint of defensiveness in her voice.
"There's no need to worry about me. I just don't have time for overeager fans who can't take a hint."
Voila was taken aback by Ameera's harsh words. She knew that Ameera was usually good-natured and kind, so this was a side of her that Voila hadn't seen before. She wondered what could have caused such a change.
"I'm sorry if I upset you," Voila said, choosing her words carefully. "I only wanted to help."
Ameera let out a sigh and ran a hand through her hair. "I know, Voila," she said, her voice softer.
"I just... I've had a lot on my mind lately. I'm sorry for snapping at you."
Voila smiled reassuringly.
"It's okay,ma’am . We all have our bad days. But please know that I'm here for you if you need anything."
Ameera returned the smile, feeling a little calmer.
"Thank you, Voila," she said. "That means a lot."
Samson rush to Kimora who was still standing on the spot like a statue, crying
"Hey, are you okay?" he asked, his voice full of concern.
Kimora looked up at him, her eyes red and puffy.
"I... I don't know," she said, her voice trembling. "That was so embarrassing. I feel like such an idiot." Samson shook his head.
"You're not an idiot," he said firmly. "You were just trying to be nice. There's nothing wrong with that." Kimora sniffled, and wiped her eyes with the back of her hand.
"I guess," she said, sounding unconvinced. "But I feel so humiliated
She couldn’t believe her role model, she has been wanting to meet all her life slapped her on first day she met her
“I know something is definitely bothering her that is why she reacted like that,it’s all my fault” Kimora cried
Samson put a hand on her shoulder, giving it a comforting squeeze.
"It's not your fault," he said, his voice gentle. "You did nothing wrong. Ameera is going through something, and it's got nothing to do with you. Don't take it personally." Kimora looked up at him, her expression pleading.
"But I really wanted to meet her," she said, her voice full of disappointment.
"I thought she would be so happy to see me. I never imagined she would be so... mean."
Samson's heart went out to Kimora. He knew how much she had looked up to Ameera, and he could only imagine how crushed she must be feeling.
"Look, I know this isn't the meeting you were hoping for," he said, his tone sympathetic.
"But maybe we can find a way to turn this around. Maybe we can find a way to make it up to her." Kimora gave him a skeptical look.
"You really think that's possible?" she asked, her voice doubtful.
Samson shrugged. "It's worth a try," he said. "What do we have to lose?"
Kimora considered his words, then nodded. "Okay," she said. "
“But I want to go home,I don’t have interest in this event anymore” Kimora said and Samson nodded
"That's totally understandable," he said, trying to sound reassuring.
"We can leave whenever you're ready. You don't have to stay if you don't want to."
"Thank you," Kimora said, her voice grateful. "I just... I just want to go home and forget about all this." Samson nodded again.
"Let's go then," he said. "We can get out of here and you can have a nice, relaxing evening at home."
He held out his arm to her, offering to escort her to the car. Kimora took his arm and they made their way out of the event, avoiding the paparazzi as much as possible. When they reached the car, Samson opened the door for her and helped her inside. Then he got in the driver's seat and started the engine.
As they drove away from the event, Kimora felt a sense of relief wash over her. She was glad to be leaving the chaos and stress behind. She was grateful to Samson for being so understanding and supportive.
"Thank you," she said, her voice quiet but sincere.
Samson glanced over at her and smiled. "You're welcome," he said. "I'm glad I could help."
The rest of the drive was mostly silent, but it was a comfortable silence. Kimora felt herself starting to relax as the stress of the evening faded away. She was grateful for the peace and quiet.
When they arrived at Kimora's house, Samson pulled into the driveway and put the car in park. He turned to her and said,
"Do you want me to walk you to the door?"
Kimora smiled and nodded. "That would be nice," she said.
Samson got out of the car and came around to open Kimora's door for her. She stepped out and they walked together to the front door.
As they approached the door, Kimora dug her keys out of her purse. She unlocked the door and turned to say goodbye to Samson.
"Thanks again for everything," she said, her eyes sincere.
"I really appreciate it." Samson smiled and said,
"You're welcome. And please don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything else. I'm always happy to help." Kimora smiled and nodded.
"I will," she said. "Take care, and have a good night."
Samson nodded and turned to leave. He got into his car and drove away, leaving Kimora alone on her doorstep.
Kimora took a deep breath, and then she went inside her house. As she closed the door behind her, she felt a weight lift off her shoulders. She felt safe and secure in her own home, and she was grateful for that feeling.
She walked into her living room and sat down on the couch. She looked around the house , taking in the familiar surroundings. It was a peaceful, calming space, and she felt herself relax even more.
Amelia will be home soon, she lay back on the couch and closed her eyes, letting the events wash over her. She drifted off to sleep, the worries of the day melting away in her dreams.
When Kimora woke up, it was dark outside and the house was quiet. She looked at her phone and saw that it was almost midnight. She was surprised to realize that she had been asleep for several hours.
As she sat up, she heard the front door open. She jumped up and rushed to the door,to see Amelia coming in.
“Babe” Amelia was shocked, she wasn’t expecting Kimora at home
“I thought you went out to the gala event” Amelia asked and Kimora sigh
"I did go to the gala," Kimora said, her voice sounding tired.
"But it was... it was a lot. I just needed to come home and be alone for a while."
Amelia's face softened and she reached out to take Kimora's hand.
"I'm sorry," she said, her voice gentle.
"I know these events can be really overwhelming. I'm glad you're home now, though. Do you want to talk about it?"
Kimora looked at Amelia and nodded.
"I think I need to," she said. "There was just so much going on, and i Just don't know how to process it all."
Kimora sat down on the couch, and Amelia sat down next to her.
"Okay, start at the beginning," Amelia said, giving Kimora her full attention.
Kimora took a deep breath and began to tell Amelia about her day. She talked about the hectic schedule, the constant demands of the press, and the stress of the event itself. She told her about her interaction with Ameera, and how she had felt so overwhelmed by the end of it. As she spoke, she could feel the tension leaving her body.
By the time she was done, Kimora felt a sense of relief. She was glad to have shared her experience with someone who understood.
“But why will Ameera do that to you,I guess she doesn’t know how important she was to you” Amelia scoffed angrily
Kimora sighed. "I think Ameera is under a lot of pressure," she said.
"She's had to deal with a lot in her career, and I think she's just not used to dealing with her emotions in a healthy way. I don't think she meant to hurt me, but it still hurt." Amelia nodded.
"I get that," she said. "But that doesn't make it okay. You don't deserve to be treated that way. You're a kind, caring person, and you deserve better."
Kimora smiled at Amelia, feeling a bit better.
"Thanks, Amelia," she said
“I just wish I can be her then I’ll solve all the problem she has” Kimora said and Amelia laughed
“You’re so obsessed that you want to be Ameera” Amelia laughed loudly
Kimora laughed, too. "Okay, okay," she said.
"You're my partner in crime. But only if you promise to help me hide the bodies."
Amelia let out a loud cackle.
"Deal!" she said. "I'm always down for a little mischievous fun."
Kimora and Amelia continued to laugh and joke around, their bond stronger than ever. After a difficult day, they were grateful to have each other to lean on.
"I'm starving," Amelia said eventually. "Want to go get some food?"
"Thank you for listening," she said, looking at Amelia gratefully.
Amelia smiled.
"Of course," she said.
"I'm here for you, no matter what. I want you to know that you can always come to me, even when things are tough. I'll always be here to listen and support you." Kimora smiled back, feeling grateful for Amelia's friendship.
"Thank you," she said again. "I really appreciate that."
"Of course," Amelia said, giving Kimora a hug
"I'm starving," Amelia said eventually. "Want to go get some food?"
Kimora nodded and smiled, feeling comforted by the embrace. She was so grateful to have a friend like Amelia, someone who always knew how to make her feel better.
"Yeah, let's go get some food," Kimora said.
"I could use some comfort food." The two friends grabbed their coats and headed out the door, eager to get some delicious food and spend the evening together. They walked down the street, chatting and laughing, enjoying the simple pleasures of friendship.
When they reached the pizza place, they placed their order and sat down to wait.
As they waited for their food, Kimora and Amelia continued to chat,
“I can imagine how your face is going to be when you saw Ameera” Amelia laughed
Kimora groaned, but she couldn't help but laugh too.
"Yeah, it's going to be pretty funny," she said. "I mean, it was already kind of ridiculous, but now it's just downright comical."
They shared a moment of laughter, then Kimora sighed.
"But seriously, I'm so mad at her," she said. "I just don't understand why she would do that."
Amelia gave her a sympathetic look.
"I know it's frustrating," she said. "But maybe there's more to the story than we know. Maybe Ameera had a good reason for doing what she did. Or maybe she didn't think it through. Maybe it was just a misunderstanding."
Kimora thought about what Amelia said.
"Maybe," she said, though she wasn't entirely convinced. "But it still feels like she doesn't respect me. Like I'm not important to her."
Amelia reached out and took Kimora's hand.
"You are important," she said, her voice full of sincerity.
"And you know that. Don't let one bad interaction make you forget that."
Eventually, their food arrived
“Wooooh,I’m so famished” Amelia shouted
Kimora couldn't help but laugh. "Same here," she said.
"Let's dig in." They started eating, savoring the taste of the pizza and the sweetness of the dessert. Kimora could feel herself starting to relax, her mood lifting as she enjoyed the food and the company.
Amelia was chatting away, sharing stories and anecdotes. Kimora found herself laughing along, enjoying the sense of normalcy after such a stressful day.
"You know, I think this is just what I needed," Kimora said, taking a sip of her drink.
"A good meal and a good friend?" Amelia said, grinning.
"That's the recipe for a perfect evening, if you ask me."
"I couldn't agree more," Kimora said, feeling a sense of contentment. They spent the rest of the evening talking and laughing, enjoying each other's company. And by the time they left the restaurant, Kimora felt like herself again.
The two friends walked back to their apartment, still chatting and joking around. A bike was driving faster and recklessly and before they know it he hit Kimora who flew up and landed on the floor
The person driving the bike also fell down with his bike, his head bleeding
“Kimora!!!” Amelia screamed running to her and when Kimora hit the ground, she felt a sharp pain in her side. She tried to sit up, but she found that she couldn't move. The pain was too intense.
She looked up and saw Amelia's face, twisted with worry and fear.
"Kimora, are you okay?" Amelia asked, her voice full of panic.
"Can you move?" Kimora tried to speak, but all that came out groan. She felt dizzy and lightheaded, and her side was throbbing.
She tried to take a deep breath, but it was hard to do so.
Something was wrong. Kimora was in obvious pain, and she seemed to be struggling to breathe. She was starting to panic, not knowing what to do.
"I'm going to call an ambulance," she said, pulling out her phone.
"No!" Kimora managed to croak out. "No ambulance."
Amelia looked at her friend in confusion.
"But Kimora, you're hurt," she said. "We need to get you to the hospital."
Kimora shook her head weakly. "Please," she said. "I don't want an ambulance."she said and stop breathing
“Kimora” Amelia screamed loudly....
