CHAPTER FIVE

Selena's POV

They continued to pull me away while I struggled hard to break free from his strong grip.

"Slap." A Slap landed on my face that made me stand still like a log of wood and I clutched my aching face with my free hands. "Try that again and you might not leave to tell the story." He shot at me with so much hate and anger in his voice. Now I knew for sure that I had to be more tactical than forceful.

"But how do I even escape from them now?" I thought in my head confused.

The only way for me to escape from these was for me to shift and I had already made everyone believe that I didn't have a wolf.

I could feel my heart beating hard against my chest. I just had to do it now and fast because my life was already at stake there. "I just have to do this," I said to myself with a long sigh.

I waited for the noise to die down and I submitted wholly to them. With the agility of a cheetah, I shifted quickly before the unsuspecting Werewolves and I bit the hands of the one that was holding me making him yell out in pain and I broke into a swift run.

"Get her and make sure that she doesn't escape." I heard him yelling from behind me and I increased my pace even more. I had to leave the pack as soon as I could but I found myself going deeper into it.

I ran as fast as my legs could carry me I could no longer hear them from behind and I thought that I had finally lost them.

I transformed back into my human form and I stared at the place that I was. It wasn't the slightest but familiar. Now the next task would be identifying where I was because only then I would be able to escape from there.

"What should I do now?" I said, really confused.

Then, I heard a strange sound just in front of me and my heart skipped a lot of beats. "Could it be that they had finally found me out?" I thought again

I wanted to break into a swift run until I stared before me and I noticed that they were the ones, they were Werewolves from another pack.

I was taken over by inquisitive and I wanted to know what exactly was happening there. I strolled over to the place slowly and I noticed that it was a young werewolf. From his scent, I could tell that he was from the red moon pack while the others were From the blue moon pack.

They held him tightly by his shirt while he shivered hard with fear. "Your Alpha Rejected this piece of land so why did you decide to trespass?" They shot angrily at him while he shivered hard with fear.

From his weak scent, I could tell that he was a new shifter and I recognized where I was now. It was the piece of land that Alpha Austin had rejected and the young Werewolf was being bullied by Young boys from the other pack.

"I am very sorry. It's my first Time shifting so I could not control my wolf." He tried to explain but they would not listen to a word that he had to say and he was way too weak and outnumbered to fight against them.

"Slap." A deadly slap landed on his left cheek, making him spit out the blood that had formed in his mouth.

"You fool." They growled at him. "And who do you think is going to take that from you?" They inquired while he continued to shiver hard with fear.

I could feel my anger rising so badly that I had to clutch my hands to control it. I walked slowly towards them but then something stopped me.

I had vowed never to have anything to do with Alpha Austin or his crazy pack and I had to find a way to leave the pack as soon as I could not get into even trouble.

I turned around slowly to leave but I could not take my mind away from the boy. I felt bad but he was a member of the pack of that Cruel Alpha called Austin.

But what if something terrible happens to the young boy? He wasn't the one that hurt me, it was Alpha Austin so why Make him face the consequences instead?

I thought about my childhood. How I was always bullied by the other kids. "No! I just have to help him." I said to myself and I turned around slowly.

"Stop right there," I growled and all of them there turned their attention to me with thick frowns hanging on their faces.

"And who the heck are you? Why don't your just mind your business?" They growled at me making me flame up with anger.

"You don't need to know who I am and I can't watch them continue to oppress him when he noted that it was a mistake." I returned quickly and I waited for their reply.

They paused for a while and after which they burst into a burst of heated laughter that got me even angry.

"And what can you do weakling, still him off from our hands?" They returned to me still laughing and I growled. "Let's see about that." I returned swiftly.
