Chapter 7: Is this a dream?

2 HOURS LATER

Cindy opened her eyes due to the cries of baby. what the fuck!!!

She sat up and raised her head. " where am I ? " she mumbled clearing her eyes from the deep sleep. Her eyes roamed around the room and has she thought, she was in a hospital.

"ohhhh... my head hurt " She said in pain. she saw wires ran across her body and also in her skin . "oh gosh!! " she gulped down in nervousness .

Suddenly, the door was opened and a man dressed in a black suit, looking handsome. " Damian" she said immediately when She realized he was the one.

" Damian... I " She said sitting up.

"um so sorry, Damian" Cindy said with watery eyes and he leaned to console her. " shhhh"

The doctor walked in.

"So doc, is everything alright with her? " Damian asked curiously. " she's ok, she just need a little rest " The doctor assured. " Well actually, she's pregnant "

" what?", The word echoed in the room in which Damian's voice was louder in rage .

"Doc. there might have been a huge mistake, she's not pregnant, she's a sacred flower , a flower that have not been plucked " Damian arches his brows.

" our test can neither be incorrect nor wrong, the truth is the truth , maybe you should ask her .

The feeling of fear and anxiety took her by storm. Cindy swallowed due to nervousness. Her sudden sweaty palms reminded her that Damian was of the essence. Still, the fear of the her being pregnant was becoming stronger with each passing second.

" Doc, I came for the documents of the patient " someone said. It was a woman probably in her 40's, she was elegantly dressed in a white gown which matched her flawless white skin, blonde hair, pink lips and deep blue eyes. She raised her head and palmed her chest.

" My apologies!! " She said with a sincere heart and left. " Mr Wayne , may I see you? "The doctor asked and they left.

Cindy heart was racing faster every minute, how could she be pregnant? it was just once!! " How...." she asked herself repeatedly.

Cindy had been discharged from the hospital and god!! she had been in distress for the time Damian had spent with the doctor.

All the time they were in the car , they didn't talk but it was obvious in his driving that he's angry.

They arrived at Damian's home.

" Just get out!!! get out !! get out from my life " Damian screamed .

" please I'm sorry Damian, forgive me " Cindy said breaking into tears.

"you are a slut!!!!!

" Ahhhhhhhhh!!! "

Cindy woke up from her nightmare. " it was a dream, yes , yes " She laughed hysterically and Damian entered the room.

She looked around and noticed that she was at last in her baby's house, she went to hug him tightly. " I came here, they told me you were not around, why leave me alone? " she cried .

" I'm sorry, you also don't have to stress yourself, you fell because of me " Damian said calmly. Cindy felt relieved but at the same time can't get over her dream.

They broke the hug.

" I wanna tell you something.. " she said gazing deeply in his eyes but he stopped her by putting his finger on her lips.

what?

" You are in a bad state, just rest and I'll be back " He said caressing her cheeks. He managed to sit her on the bed. " stay in bed, I'll be back, don't go anywhere " He said before leaving.

Cindy wondered how the dream she had seemed and felt like reality, she hoped it wasn't true because she can't imagine her being pregnant for that asshole. " Please Damian, don't leave me!! " she muttered.

REES' MANSION

Axel is seated on the vintage couch with his dad drinking champagne. " Dad , I'm so happy about my success, well I'm sorry for not telling you " He said taking a sip of Champagne.

"You know I really like talking to you more than mom, you are a good listener even though you can't talk " He nodded.

Mr Rees condition have not been explained by the doctor,on one fateful, he slumped on the stairs in which he lost his freedom and his voice- his walking and talking ability.

"A wife... hmmm, dad you are Soo funny, I just really can't get a wife at this time, it's so stressful but I rather enjoy sex than marriage" He scoffed. " I wanna tell you something dad, I fell weird about it and I just want to take it off my chest.....I had sex with....."

" Sir you have a call.. " A maid interrupted. " ok, get out!! " He said In a angry tone. " Damian? " He arched his brows.

" I'll be back dad!! "

BACK AT DAMIAN'S HOME

Damian was on a call far away from where Cindy was resting.

" What is wrong with you? what happened to the surprise? " Damian screamed over the phone.

" I really don't know, it was ....I really don't know" The person said.

" I hate to say this but you are just a waste of my precious time, I'll give this job to another person" Damian said. " I'll....make sure...

" Damian!! why are you here? you have been calling since ages " Cindy interrupted.

Damian quickly ended the call.

"I was just talking to a client, I'm so sorry but how did you get here... " He said scratching his head .

" Well I saw a map of your house and it actually pricked my curiosity, so here are we" She said raising her hands in a the air. " you don't really have to stress yourself, were we not clear on that earlier" he warned. " ok I'll go rest but only if you follow me " She asked and after a while he nodded.

" Let's go!! " Cindy said playfully and he followed.

When they reached the room, they fell on the bed at the same time facing each other. Damian placed his palm on her smooth face. " you are so beautiful, I wonder how my kids would look having both our genes of handsomeness " He chuckled.

Cindy let out an uncomfortable smile.

" Yeah" She said in a low tone. " Or maybe we can adopt or whatever" she Insisted. " Nooo....maybe have some kids then adopt " He quickly refused the idea.

Cindy was on the edge of her life, she didn't really know how to tell Damian that she slept with his best friend, that decision could pull her up or push her down. But at this point, the chances of her being pulled up is very slim.

" hmmm......I...want to"

"shhhhhh". He shut her up placing his finger on her lips. He rubbed her lips and in no time placed his lips on hers.

Suddenly, Cindy's phone rang loudly.

They stopped the kiss.

"I have to take this call... " She pointed at her phone.

" yep, you can " he nodded.

She took her phone and saw that it was her sister calling her. she answered it.

" what do you want? just don't disturb me, I have a lot to do right now, just call when necessary, I know what you have to say isn't that important" Cindy blabbed over the phone.

" Really this isn't really important, Mom got hit by a bus " Ariel cried.
