Chapter 7

The next morning, tiara came over.

"Let's leave and go to my house," she said as I shake my head no.

Why" she asked.

"I want to forget everything, let's go-to party the night away," I said.

"Okay let's go home and get changed," she said as we got an Uber.

We go into the house as I had keys, we head upstairs and get ready.

We finally came downstairs. Jacob and Olive were there playing a game.

"Where are you guys going?" my brother asked.

"To a party, want to join us" tiara offered.

"Yeah sure," he said as I pulled her aside.

"What the hell tiara, I don't want to be near him today," I said.

"You won't, it's a big party," she said.

"I can't believe you sometimes," I said.

"I'm sorry," she said as I was about to say something my brother interrupted me.

"Let's go," my brother says.

"Where do you guys think you're going?" my mom says.

"Mom I need to get out of this house, I can't stay locked up in that room," I said.

"You and your boyfriend broke up today, you need to stay home, not go to a party," she said.

"I know but if I stay home all I will do is text him or cry," I said as I looked at Jacob who's looking at me.

After a few minutes of begging her to let us go, she finally agrees.

We all left and after 30 minutes we were at the party.

This party was different compared to the one we went to a few days ago.

The guys here are older and hotter. It's also bigger and has more people.

We go in.

I and tiara stay together and get drinks. The boys went god knows where.

A guy comes up to us and starts flirting with tiara.

"I will leave you guys alone," I said as I smiled at them.

"Good luck," I said to her as she laughed.

Standing here all alone, made me feel like I was more alone than I have ever been before. And I'm at a party with people around me.

My heart starts racing, I quickly go outside and try to catch a breath.

I bend over, placing my hands on my knees.

"Are you okay?" he asked me.

Jacob.

"I'm okay," I said.

"I want to talk to you," he said.

Before he can tell me what he wanted to talk to me about, his girlfriend sees us, and I leave them alone.

"Alice," a familiar voice says.

I looked around to see it was the guy from the party I went to when Jacob taught me how to play pool table.

"Alex, right," I said.

"Yes, how are you?" he asked.

"I'm tired of being asked that today, so how are you," I asked.

"Noted, I'm good," he said as he smiled at me.

"Did you find your girlfriend?" I said as he laughed.

"Yes, I did, Lindsay" he shouts for a girl.

"Hey baby," she says as they kiss.

"Who's this?" she asked.

"She is Alice, the girl who kept me company while you ran off in that party," he said.

I remember her. She was the girl my brother was going upstairs with.

"It was nice meeting you both, I have to go," I said.

What the hell just happened.

After the party, I and tiara went home. I told my brother to drop her off home.

Jacob didn't come with us; he went with his girlfriend.

After that, I go to bed and get ready for university.
