I wasn't to sure what I wanted to. Meet his family then propose or just go and propose anyway. I mean I respect his wishes and everything but his fucking family almost killed him, on several occasions.

I don't believe they'd be too happy to see he has a boyfriend now let alone a fiancé. But Toby knows exactly what he wants from them. He wants to be free of their hatred.

Hearing them say they're fine with me will set him free from the weight of everything they've done. But what happens if we go and they don't say what he wants to hear? What do I do with my sad sack of Kitten?

I don't think he'll accept my proposal if they don't tell him what he wants to hear. I'll have to make sure that I'll be able to influence them somehow. But I don't want to do anything too drastic, like full blown possession...if he were to find out I'd be as good as single.

Maybe I could talk him into not going to begin with. But then for the rest of his life he'll be chained to their albatrosses. There's no way around this is there...I suppose there's no use trying to slow or speed anything up. Whatever happens, happens when it happens.

I stood from my seat on the couch and went to the kitchen to make supper. Tobias was out working still, he was busy with his last session for the day. I was kind of worried because of downtown and its nature.

He didn't have a car so he either hitched one with Sasha or he caught a taxi. I was more comfortable knowing he was in Sasha's car sometimes but still worried. Three people had been mugged there and they were all in vehicles and it happened around this time of day.

But I'm a demon and I have a mark on him. If anyone wants to fuck around with my Kitten, they're dead.

Before I could do anything Tobias walked into the kitchen. "Honey I'm home!" He shouted making me smiled and turn. He smiled brightly at me and ran into my arms to hug me.

I caught him and hugged back, spinning him around a little. I put him down before kissing his forehead. "How was work today?" I asked him and a wide grin came onto his face.

He reached into his pocket and handed me a slip. I smiled as I read what it said before pulling him closer to kiss him. "How you feeling about it Kitten?" I asked when we pulled away from each other. "I feel so amazing Babe. I've never gotten a pay check at the end of the month, it's always been a wage and...I can't even begin to explain how liberating this is Baby." He replied, happily gazing at his paycheck.

"I'm proud of you Kitten." I said, smiling at his happy little face. He looked up and me and put the slip away before giving me a tight as fuck hug. "Thank you for pushing me to get this job." He whispered. "It's a pleasure Baby." I whispered back and kissed his hair.

We pulled away from each other and smiled sweetly at one another for a bit. "What're you making Lathan?" He asked, snapping the both of us out of our daze. "It depends, what reward am I getting tonight?" I asked flirtatiously making a light blush coat his cheeks.

"A full reward. I think we both deserve it." He replied with a little smirk. I smiled before kissing his cheek. "Then I'm making your favorite." I whispered into his ear before pulling away. Tobias smiled brightly at that. "I'm gonna go take a shower, I expect dinner done by the time I come down." He said sexily.

I smiled before nodding. He was about to turn to go upstairs but I pulled him back and gave him a passionate wet kiss. I felt as he melted into the kiss in pure love and ecstasy. He kissed back, his lips moving so in sync with mine.

His tongue swirled around my own and we moaned softly. I lifted him up, not breaking the kiss, and put him on the island. We pulled away from each other, breathless and red. "A little longer and I would've taken you right now." Toby whispered, grinning devilishly.

I sighed and rolled my eyes before letting him go take a shower. "I love you Kitten!" I shouted as he ran up the stairs like a child. "I love you too Babe!" He shouted back making me smiled to myself softly. I turned to the stove and put my hands on my hips before sighing.

"Let's see, Toby's favorite..."
