Despite her trials, she couldn't get these words out of her system. She had spent hours thinking why had she been accused of something she had no idea of, only to end up with hot tears. She was on her bed trying to control her sobs by closing her mouth with her hands. But, they were increasing more and more. Her chest was heaving with sobs, hot tears were streaming down his face. She squeezed her eyes shut hoping the tears would stop only to end up crying a bucket. Her mind drifted to the days when she was a happy soul waiting for her man.

Flashback:-

The clock was ticking 8 am, curtains were flying adding an orange shade to the morning sunlight that was trying to peak through the windows falling directly onto the bed, where the photos of her cousin which she had been watching during the night were scattered.

She woke up with the wash of the fresh light bringing a bright smile onto her face as her eyes landed on the photographs. She closed her eyes enjoying the moments until someone aimed to throw her back from her dreamland.

That was her mom!!

" Amma!! I'm waking up." She said rubbing her eyes.

"Maya, get fresh and come down, your appa is waiting for you." Her mother said

"Okay amma, I will be down in twenty-five minutes."

When she was about to go to the washroom, she was interrupted by her phone.

A smile formed on her lips looked at the caller name.

"Hello Priya"

"Hi Maya"

"Woke up from your sleepy world?" Priya asked knowing how much of a sleep lover Maya is!!

"I didn't want to. But, mom dragged me out." Maya said scrunching her nose.

"Ayyo!! My poor girl"

" Got ready for work?" Maya asked as it was the time for Priya's work.

"Yeah! Long ago."

"Then what are you still doing at home? Aren't you getting late for work?" Maya said looking at the time.

" I'm waiting for appa to get ready, he went for a bath just now. " Priya said sighing

"Why mama is dropping you? What happened to your vehicle?"

"It is not starting again, these days it is troubling a lot," Priya said irritated at her vehicle.

" Oh! Then, ask mama to drop you here, anna will drop you at the office." Maya suggested.

" Umm..No Maya, I don't want to trouble him, I will go with appa." Priya said

" No Priya, There is nothing to trouble him, anyways your office is in the same way as his hospital. I'm not going to listen anything from you now. Will be waiting for you, bye." She cut the call and went to fresh up.

Vikram was a cardiologist working in a prestigious hospital. Career oriented. A man of few words, the only women he loved is his mother and his sister. Never looked at any woman in the wrong way. In one word, a decent man with immense love and possessiveness towards his sister.

Maya, Priya and Megha were best friends. The three of them stayed in the same neighbourhood with their families. Maya and Priya were cousins. After completion of their graduation, Priya joined an organization as a software analyst, whilst Maya was doing an online course on artificial intelligence and Megha was in a job hunt.

Maya came down after half an hour and greeted her father who was busy reading a newspaper.

"Anna, Priya will be coming with you please drop her at her office." Maya said looking at Vikram who was having his breakfast.

"Priya? Why? What happened to her vehicle?" Vikram asked with a frown on his face.

" Her vehicle is troubling a lot these days, she asked mama to drop her but I told her to come here so that you could drop her as her office is in the same way as your hospital."

"Okay! Ask her to come fast. I don't want to be late for my hospital. I have surgery to be done." He said washing his hands.

"She will be here in few minutes anna" Maya said after making a call to Priya.

"Okay!" Vikram went to get his keys and case reports.

Priya's came to Maya's house with her appa, and their fathers started talking about politics.

Vikram came down after attending an important call and went to greet Priya's father.

"Appa, we will leave now. Otherwise, we might stuck in a traffic jam." He looked at Priya after taking his leave from his parents and his mama( Priya's father).

"Okay Maya, we will leave now" she followed him waving her hands to Maya's parents and her father.
