Ava pov

I felt a lump forming in my throat, as I stood before the packed hall.

Physically I was standing with Alpha Ethan, while my mind was with Alpha Adrain.

I was watching my soon-to-be husband, without any emotion, one would see how upset I was with the whole thing.

Ethan exchanged vows with me, And The sounds of Endearing words and applause filled the Air.

Tears pricked at my eyes, but not tears of joy, it was tears of sadness.

I tried to stop thinking about Alpha Adrian, who had filled my heart with newfound emotions.

I wished that the feeling was for Ethan and not Adrain.

I knew that agreeing to marry Ethan was the best way of saving our pack, but even at that it couldn't fill the emptiness that I felt inside, I just wished the feelings for Alpha Adrian would leave me and let me move on.

Looking around, I noticed that every one of the pack members was happy for my big day, and it made the moment bitter.

I walked with Ethan, who seemed to be happy, down the Aisle, feeling connected from the entire occasion.

The other maids were very happy for me, little did they know that I wished all this was a nightmare and I would just wake up from it.

Turns out that I wasn't daydreaming it's a reality.

I looked around the hall, in search of the one true person I grew up with thinking that she was all I have, that's my grandmother.

I frown on seeing that she was not close to my parents, this was supposed to be my great day, and even though I'm sad and empty I had the thought that she might have come on my behalf.

I could still feel a hint of hope that she might be in a tight corner in the hall, I just wish to at least hug her.

Looking at the right-hand side, I could see how happy Luna Anastasia and Alpha Zeth were, including the pack members, since I had fulfilled their biggest wish.

Luna Anastasia walked over to me, placed a kiss on my forehead, and pulled me in for a hug.

I knew she was going to miss me even thou she did a bad thing but she is old I don't blame her.

Darling, you are so dashing, congratulations to you Ava, and you too Ethan.

Luna Anastasia said as she pulled us for a family hug, I disengaged from the hug, since the wedding is over what's left is the reception party.

I looked up as the full moon beamed brightly across the sky and Alpha Ethan walked hand in hand toward our wedding reception.

The whole pack members, including the slaves, gathered at the hall to celebrate us.

My wedding gown was an exquisite creation of Ivory silk and lace with a trail that flowed like a river behind me as I walked.

My hair was styled beautifully, adorned with a delicate silver tiara.

Alpha Ethan was dressed to kill in a classic black tuxedo, his charm and power over the pack were visible even in his attire, wearing his regal attire with utmost confidence.

As we walked in, the hall was filled with laughter and chatter, the scent of delicious food, the aroma of the floral decor, and the sound of music filled the hall.

The worried look on my face was intense the more when my grandmom hadn't appeared yet, accenting the joyous mood that had engulfed everyone.

I really can't wait for all this to end so that I can get out of this dress.

I jolted out of my thoughts when I felt Alpha Ethan's hands on mine, he placed gentle kisses on the back of her palm before leading me to a seat.

"I' 'll be right back, my love," Alpha Ethan whispered, kissing my temple as he stood from his seat and I scoffed.

And then he disappeared into the crowd, I watched him go, as I heaved a sigh of relief.

My eyes didn't move from my parents watching them chat happily with their friends.

Moments later, Alpha Ethan emerged holding a mic in his hands." I hope everyone is enjoying the part " he said, " I just want to make a quick toast to the love of my life, my luna, Ava.

I frowned when he muttered my name, I knew he was just putting up an act.

The room erupted in applause and whistles, as I faked a giggle, feeling a sudden warmth spread through me.

Ethan raised his glass, "to the most beautiful woman I've ever met.

I looked around the hall and I noticed I was the center of attraction, I decided to make things more interesting by putting up an act.

I smiled, my eyes shimmering with unshed tears.

As the party went on, the DJ played the most romantic songs, weaving memories of the past and hopes for a future filled with joy and love.

I watched as the crowd soon joined in dancing excitedly to the tunes.

The spotlight finally fell on me Alpha Ethan, and our bodies swayed in unison.

At the end of it all, Alpha Ethan signaled the DJ to start the last dance of the party, asking everyone who was paired up to join us on the floor.

I couldn't stop myself from staring at Adrain, he looked so dashing and hot especially when he smiled at me.

I smiled back at him and Alpha Ethan caught me in the act and pulled me closer to himself.

I watched as Adrain shook his head in pity, with the way his eyes roamed around my body I was certain that he could feel the connection between us, I felt a glint of hope on seeing how he couldn't take his eyes off me.

Physically I was dancing with Alpha Ethan but emotionally and mentally my whole mind was filled with thoughts of Adrain.

Hand in hand, everyone danced the newlyweds, as the moon outside reached its height.

My mind drifted back to my grandmother, and I decided to go in search of her.

I walked hastily into the palace, thinking that I might bumble into Isabella or any of the maids to ask of him what we were about.

But I didn't see anyone, I opened the door to the room that once belonged to Isabella but it was empty.

We're on earth would she be at a time like this?

I sigh out of frustration, on having no clue of what we're about.
