PAIN

Katie POV

I opened my eyes, the light from the window streaming in. For a moment, i forgot about the events of the previous night. Then, the memory of my decision came rushing back, and with it, a wave of sadness. I knew it was the right decision, but that didn't make it any easier. I turned to look at the empty space next to me, a sense of loss settling in my chest.

I took a deep breath, trying to push away the feeling. I had to focus on the future, on what was to come.

I rolled out of bed, feeling determined to make the most of the day. I showered and dressed, trying to get myself into a positive mindset.

I made myself a cup of coffee and sat down at the kitchen table, looking out the window. I took a sip of coffee and closed my eyes, taking a moment to enjoy the peace and quiet.

I’ll be going to Paris today,I think that’s the best thing to do

The idea of going to Paris brought a smile to my face. It was the perfect place to clear my head, to get away from everything and just focus on myself. I felt a sense of excitement, knowing that I was about to embark on a new adventure.

I finished my coffee and got ready to go. I grabbed my coat and headed out the door, ready to begin my journey and I felt the sun on my face as i walked down the street, a smile on my face.

Cassie pov

I woke up and get ready for work,my life as been so cools ever since I returned home and my relationship with Williams as been going smoothly

“Let’s meet at your favorite restaurant”Williams message dropped on my phone

I couldn’t help but smile as i thought about my life since i had returned home.

“Are you leaving for work”My mother asked as i descended the stairs

"Yes, I'm heading out now," I replied, giving my mother a quick hug.

"How are you feeling today?" she asked, her eyes full of concern.

“I’m good mom”I replied

“Your father and I will be going to his friend’s son wedding”My mother said

"Is this the friend your father's always talking about,Mr White?" I asked, trying to remember the details. My mother nodded, a smile on her face.

"That's the one," she said.

"They've been friends for years, and now his son is getting married." I could tell that she was happy for them, and it made me feel warm inside.

"That's so wonderful," I said. "Do you know where the wedding is going to be?"

"They're having it at a beautiful estate in the countryside," my mother said, her eyes shining with excitement.

"It's supposed to be a small, intimate wedding, just close friends and family." I could tell that my parents were looking forward to this special day, and I was happy for them.

"I'm so glad they're getting to have this special moment together," i said, a smile on your face. "It's important to celebrate the people we love."

“I’ll be leaving now mom,see you tonight”I said and I gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and headed for the door.

"Drive safe," she said after me.I waved and turned to leave, my mind already on the day ahead.

As I got into my car, I felt a sense of anticipation and excitement. I knew that today was going to be a good day, and I couldn't wait to see what it would bring. As I started the car, I felt ready for whatever the world had in store.

I drove down the street, my mind wandering to the day ahead. As I drove, I began to think about all the things that needed to get done. I had a few errands to run

As i thought about Williams, i couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. things has been going well. And I enjoyed spending time with him, and I knew that we were compatible in many ways. I pulled into the parking lot of my favorite restaurant, a smile on my face.

As i made my way into the restaurant, I looked around, searching for Williams. My eyes landed on a table in the corner, and i could see him sitting there, his brown eyes sparkling. He looked up and saw me, and he smiled, his face lighting up.

"Babe!" he said, standing up to greet me. I walked over to him and gave him a hug, feeling the warmth of his embrace. I sat down, and I felt myself relax, happy to be in his presence.

“You called me here so early”I said and I could notice some tension in his eyes

"I know, and I'm sorry about that," he said, his voice apologetic.

"But there's something I need to tell you, and I couldn't wait any longer." I looked at him, my heart beating a little faster. I could tell that this was something important, and i wondered what it could be.

"I'm not sure how to say this, but here goes," he said, taking a deep breath. I waited for him to continue, my heart racing with anticipation.

“I want us to break up”He dropped the bombshell

The words hit me like a punch to the gut, and i felt the air leave my lungs. I was stunned, unable to believe what i had just heard. I struggled to find my voice, but all i could manage was a whisper.

"What?" I said, my voice barely audible. I felt the tears welling up in my eyes, but I tried to hold them back. I needed to hear what he had to say, no matter how difficult it was to hear.

Williams reached out and took my hand, his touch gentle and reassuring.

"I know this is a lot to take in," he said, his voice soft and kind. "But please, hear me out." I nodded, my throat tight and I could feel the tears starting to fall, but I kept my eyes on him, not wanting to miss a word.

"I've been doing a lot of thinking lately," he began. "And I've realized that we're not right for each other."

"I know we have a lot of history," he continued.

"And we've been through a lot together. But I don't think we're meant to be together in the long run."I felt my heart sinking, my mind reeling with questions.

"Why?" I asked, my voice trembling.

"Why do you think that?" Williams took a deep breath, seeming to gather his thoughts.

"We just want different things out of life," he said, his voice full of regret. "And I don't think we can ever really be happy together."he said and stood up

“I’ll be leaving for Paris tomorrow,let’s hope not to meet again,I wish you Succes in everything you do”he said and started heading out

I watched him walk towards the door, my heart breaking with each step he took and I wanted to say something, anything, to make him stay. But you couldn't find the words,the pain too overwhelming.
