I pushed open the door, the familiar scent of coffee and paper hitting me as i walked inside. I felt my heart racing as i approached the receptionist.
The receptionist looked up as i approached, their eyes brightening when they saw me.
“Good afternoon ma’am”They greeted with a friendly and welcoming voice
"Good afternoon," I said, trying to match their friendly tone.
"I'm here to see Tyler, is he available?" The receptionist smiled and nodded.
"Of course, he's expecting you," they said, gesturing towards a door. "You can go right in." I felt a wave of relief, glad to have made it this far.
I walked towards the door, my heart racing in my chest. I took a deep breath and pushed open the door, stepping into the room.
The room was large and well-appointed, with a large desk in the center. Behind the desk was Tyler sitting, his dark hair and brown eyes and his hands steepled in front of him.
He looked up as I entered, his eyes widening in surprise.
“Hey babe”Tyler smiled and stood up to hug me
I felt myself melt into his embrace, the familiarity of his touch soothing my nerves and I closed my eyes and breathed in his scent, feeling a sense of homecoming.
"It's so good to see you," i said, pulling back to look at him. He smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
"I've missed you so much," he said, his voice low and husky.
I met Tyler in high school and we’ve been together since then and now we are getting married but I’ve lost my love for him,how do I tell him I want to canceled the wedding that is suppose to be tomorrow
As i stood there, wrapped in his arms, i felt a wave of guilt wash over me. The thought of ending the relationship made my stomach twist in knots. But i knew it was the right thing to do, even if it was going to be difficult. I took a deep breath, gathering my courage.
"Tyler," I said, my voice shaking slightly.
"There's something I need to tell you." His brow furrowed, and he pulled back, concern written all over his face.
"What's wrong?" he asked
“I....”
“Boss the meeting is about to start”His secretary said and cut me off
“Babe let’s talk about this later, will you wait for me or will you go meet mom at home”he asked
I looked at him, my eyes filling with tears.
"I'll wait," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. He gave me a sad smile, his hand reaching for mine.
"Thank you," he said, his voice full of gratitude.
I gave his hand a squeeze, trying to reassure him. I knew this wasn't the end, but only the beginning of a difficult conversation.
"I love you," he said, his eyes shining with emotion. I felt my heart swell, the weight of my decision settling in my chest.
"I love you too," I said, holding his gaze.
My feelings for Tyler were complex and multi-layered. I still cared deeply for him, and i knew he felt the same way about me. But i also knew that our relationship had reached a point where it couldn't continue as it was. I didn't hate him, i just knew that I wasn’t in love with him in the way that i needed to be. And that realization was heartbreaking, but also liberating.
I was still waiting for him when his driver entered the office
“Good afternoon ma’am”He greeted and I nod in reply
“Mr Tyler is waiting in the car”he said
“Is he done with meeting?”I asked
“Yes ma’am”He answered and walked out
I picked up my bag and also headed to the car

Tyler pov
I was already waiting for Katie in the car,I have to end the meeting because I want to spend time with my wife to be,even though I could see fear in her eyes ,just immediately she opened the car door and came in
“Are you okay babe?”I asked immediately she entered
Katie looked at me, her eyes welling up with tears.
"I don't know," she said, her voice trembling.
"I'm just...I'm so nervous." I reached out and took her hand, squeezing it gently.
"It's okay to be nervous," I said, my voice soft and reassuring.
“Tomorrow is our wedding and after tomorrow you’ll be mine forever”I said
“Thank you babe”Katie smiled and hug me
I wrapped my arms around Katie, feeling her relax into my embrace as I held her close, savoring the moment. This was what I had always wanted, to be able to hold her and comfort her, to let her know that I will be there for her no matter what. I felt her hand on my cheek, her touch warm and familiar.
"I'm so lucky to have you," she said, her voice soft and full of emotion. I felt my heart swell with love, a love that you knew was deep and true.
I pulled back, looking into her eyes.I saw the future in them, a future that I knew would be full of happiness and adventure. I smiled, my heart light.
"I think we should get some sleep," I said, my voice still soft and full of emotion.
"Tomorrow is going to be a long day." Katie smiled, her eyes shining.
“Let’s go to my home and spend some time before tomorrow”I said
"You're right," she said. "Let's go home." I nodded, holding her hand as you walked out of the room, ready to face whatever the future held, together.
Katie and I drove to my home, the silence between you comfortable and familiar. When we arrived, i opened the door and ushered her inside. I took her coat and hung it up, then turned to her.
"Welcome home," i said, my heart full of love. Katie smiled, looking around the room.
"It feels good to be here," she said, her voice full of contentment. I took her hand and led her to the couch, sitting down next to her.
"I'm glad you're here," you said, your voice sincere.
“By tomorrow we’ll be moving to our new house, just you and me”I said
Katie's eyes widened in surprise, a smile spreading across her face.
"Really?" she asked, her voice filled with excitement. I nodded, a grin on my face.
"I thought it would be a nice way to start our new life together," I said, my heart full of hope. Katie leaned in and kissed me, her lips soft and warm.
"I can't wait," she said, her eyes shining. I wrapped my arms around her, holding her close.
"Me either," I said, your heart overflowing with love.
Katie and I sat on the couch, lost in each other's embrace. The world outside seemed to fade away, and all that mattered was the two of us, together. I felt a sense of peace wash over me, a peace that I had never known before. I was home, truly home, with the person I loved most in the world. I closed my eyes, savoring the moment, and allowed myself to simply be, in this perfect moment, with my perfect person.
