Writer's POV:-
"Who are you?" Aakarsh asked, getting all shocked on seeing someone else instead of Mr. Mehra.
Diksha looked at her phone and got frozen on her spot.
Her eyes widened as she looked at the person on the other line, she hurriedly looked over Sejal who was smiling and typing something on her mobile.
As if lighting struck over her, she again looked back at her screen with an open mouth. Her face colour faded away. Eyes widened like saucers.
"What the hell...Who are you??" She freaked out and shouted.
Meanwhile, on the other side, a shocked Aakarsh was startled by her shrill voice. However, composing himself he asked.
"That's what I am asking! Who are you? And why did you receive the call? Give the phone back to Mr. Mehra."
"Who is Mr. Mehra? This is my number!" Diksha replied, scrunching her eyebrows in confusion.
"What do you mean by your number? This number belongs to Mr. Nilesh Mehra. My business partner!" Aakarsh replied
"Oo hello… this is my number, not of any Mehra. And who gave you my number? Who are you in the first place?" She shouted lightly, controlling her anger.
"His secretary gave this number. And how could you say that this is your number? I just talked to him over messages and last night too, we had a text conversation." Aakarsh said, gritting his teeth.
Her eyes widened in shock.
"La..la..last night...you were sending those messages?" She stuttered in confusion and fear, praying it to be a lie.
"Obviously, I was sending those messa... wait… was it you the one replying?" Aakarsh too got shocked at the newly found information. His narrowed eyes became wide as he stared over his screen.
Their jaws dropped and their mouths hung wide open — as the reality struck them with lightning speed.
Their eyes widened at the same time, and they recalled all the events and conversations from the previous night.
They were dumbstruck for some time.
Sssshhh! Complete silence, both sides!
Meanwhile, when Sejal noticed Diksha's faded face and frozen posture, she approached her.
"What happened, why are you staring at the phone as if you saw a ghost??" Asked Sejal,
"And who is he?" She again asked when Aakarsh's face came in her view, over the screen.
Her sudden voice broke the heavy prevailing silence, pulling them back to reality.
Blink (one)...Blink (two)...Blink (three) and…
"Aaaaaaaaaa…"
"AAAA..."
Both shouted at the same time and hung up the call immediately.
"What the actual hell was that?" Aakash said, appalled.
He was completely flabbergasted over the turn of events. He can't point out what actually happened, where it all went wrong.
He tried recalling everything from the last day.
"How can this happen? Such a mistake? The number was the same which Vivaan sent me then wha...." He clenched his fist and his face hardened with anger, as he realised something.
"In my cabin, this instant." He almost shouted over the intercom.
On the other hand, Vivaan, who was sending some important emails, jumped over his chair as he received the call.
"What did I do now which infuriated him so much?" Vivaan was thinking while walking to his boss's cabin. One can easily see the 'scaredy-cat' expression on his 'now' paled face.
He prayed to God to save his life and knocked on the cabin door.
"Y....yo...you called sir?" Asked Vivaan wiping the fresh sweat beads that appeared on his forehead.
"This kind of blunder was not expected from you," Aakarsh shouted as soon as Vivaan's face came into his vision.
An already scared Vivaan was now trembling in fear. He literally flinched hearing Aakarsh's voice.
"Wha...what...did I do Sir?"
"How dare you send me a wrong number instead of Mr. Mehra's?" Aakarsh, who was looking all ready to strangle him, asked gritting his teeth.
"Wrong number..??" Vivaan frowned as he heard Aakarsh's point.
"No no Sir, I sent you the exact same number which his assistant provided me with," Vivaan said, scrunching his eyebrows.
"Then how come it got connected to a stranger? That too a girl? Didn't you check it twice before passing it to me?" Aakarsh asked in a complete rage.
"Girl...I don't know Sir what happened, but I did a cross-check number with his assistant." Said Vivaan, timidly.
"Then you want to say that I contacted the wrong number? Is this what you wanna prove?" Aakarsh asked, gritting his teeth.
"No Sir, I mean...I don't know where it is...." Vivaan's sentence was stopped abruptly in the middle as he heard Aakarsh's warning tone.
"I don't know where what and how. 20 minutes... I'm giving you 20 minutes... find out whose mistake was this or get your things packed to leave this company forever." Aakarsh snapped his finger towards a trembling Vivaan.
"Leave..." He shouted on top of his lungs.
Vivaan immediately left the cabin, more precisely, ran off from there.
"God, what a bunch of fools I have working for me?" Aakarsh held his head between both his hands.
"Don't know what she must be thinking..."
He closed his eyes leaning on his chair. Diksha's face flashed his mind. Her chocolate brown shining orbs. The dark black mole under her lips. He opened his eyes instantly.
"What am I even thinking… how can I be this stupid? And that girl, such an idiot she is! How could she reply that easily to the messages of a stranger? On top of that, she called that too a video call.." Aakarsh was now agitated by Diksha's careless behaviour. But why? He too doesn't know.
"Why the hell am I thinking about her...aarrgghh" He pulled his hair in frustration. Her shiny brown orbs and the dark black mole under her lips were not ready to leave his mind.

*Somewhere at the other part of the world:- *
*Writer's POV :-*
A person dressed in black came and gave a parcel to another person who was sitting with someone in a big hall.
He took the parcel and gestured to the man with his two fingers, to leave.
"Are you sure this will work?" He heard the voice of the person sitting next to him. He kept the parcel on the table.
He leaned on the back of the sofa, spread both his arms on it, and kept his one ankle on the other leg's knee.
"Just wait and watch.... not just work but it will work superbly...after all, this is a special thing. The storm is brewing baby..just enjoy.." He said and his evil laughter echoed in the whole mansion.
"This storm is much awaited. Now, my heart will get relieved only with their destruction." Said another person looking nowhere specific, with a hard determined face.
Determination of destruction.
Deadly destruction!!!
“The countdown begins...one, two, three …”
