"Wait, what?!" I spoke without thinking. Oh good...
He turned to face me "Don't watch this, Audrey. This will be too bloody for you." he said seriously, then joined the werewolves outside. Their faces clearly state they were itching to start the battle. The pack was so big they managed to cover the area. “I should’ve left you back in the Castle.”
I immediately pulled Troy's hand. "You'll get yourself hurt, Troy!" I hissed, but he didn't even look at me. He’s not fully healed yet!
"Matthew, go watch her for me" he said, ignoring me. Matthew nodded and stood beside me.
"Don't ignore me, mister! I'm serious!" I groaned and pulled his arm. He faced me and he rested his head on my shoulder, making me feel warmth deep within me. "Trust me on this one; I do this all the time. My pack is supposed to respect me. If one of them doubts my abilities, I must remind them why I am the Alpha." He explained tenderly. "So don't be so difficult at a time like this. Your face makes it way too hard for me to fight." he whispered. I was out of words. I still wanted to stop him because he could get hurt, and the thought of it was killing me.
But then again, who was I to tell him to stop what he's been doing for years? I do not want to change anything in him just because I came back, that would be too selfish. So I held my words and my tears back, the words "Don't die," was all I could say.
He raised his head and smiled gently; assuring me he'll be alright. I still can’t get myself to calm down. How could he be doing this all the time?

Troy Williams
I can’t believe this. Vince is challenging me? His Alpha? I have been working with him all these years and I believe that we trust each other. Considering that he thinks I am not fitted for this pack after all that I’ve suffered before. I have faced death multiple times just to prove that I am worthy. He's a trustful member of my pack, or so I thought he was. As of now, I cannot afford to lose. Audrey is watching me.
I glanced at Audrey, who was right at the corner, beside Matthew. She was just standing there, exploring her eyes at every corner. Like the place both scared her and amazed her at the same time. Some of my pack mates stared at her with curiosity, but she looked like she didn't care at all. She was standing at a straight posture, smiling at the members who met her gaze.
That's my mate.
I focused on my opponent. I realized he was staring at Audrey, too. He looked at her with hidden desire, like he wanted to ravish her right at that moment. Heat rose from within my chest, every part of my body screamed, 'Kill him'.
I will. I will, without a doubt, destroy this bastard.
Ace stood and placed his hand at the distance between me and Vince.
"I hereby announce the challenge." We both nod and prepare ourselves. SHIFT!
"Fight!"
I shifted to black wolf, and quickly jumped in front of him. I scratched his left eye, causing it to bleed. His claws tried to grab me to do the same. But unfortunately, I was the one who trained him.
I knew all of his moves, all of his strengths and weaknesses. We spar together all the time. I easily dodged and bit his right ear. He bit my hand desperately, and then I retaliated by scratching his shoulder. He yelped in pain, I'm pretty sure he didn't want to be the one getting beaten, so I'm definitely hurting his ego. So without thinking, he jumped at me and tried to scratch my left ear. An opening.
I bit his neck hard, not letting go despite his weak cries. I tasted his flesh as blood came out of his throat. My strong jaws clasped harder and harder, until Vince's body limped down. I let go of his neck, disgustingly spitting out his blood. He is now coughing for his breath, but with that hole on his throat, I'm pretty sure he won't last long.
“I can’t believe I trusted you.” I said and tossed him on the ground. He’s one of my people but I cannot forgive him.
I wouldn't give him an easy death, of course. I'll make him suffer and regret the moment he challenged his own Alpha. He'll die for his stupidity .To ever doubting my leadership and for staring at my Aubrey so hungrily. Nothing will atone for that.
I won.
I looked at Audrey, a small smile was visible in her face. I marched to her triumphantly, trying to show her an 'I told you so' look. Her smile got wider and she went to gently pat my head. She sighed as if she was relieved that I survived. I felt utterly happy at that moment, and I couldn't take my eyes off of her.
I was confused, though. She saw me in this form, all covered in blood and in the body of a wolf, and yet she's not frightened? I thought she would scream for her life and run away. Now that she knows all the things about me, it seems like she accepted it all. I knew it. She was brave and kind. She’s the perfect match for me and I will cherish her forever.
She kneeled in front of me and smiled. I immaturely licked her face, and she responded with an adorable chuckle. It took me a while to notice that my pack's eyes are now on us. They are looking at Audrey with such curiosity. I think that it’s time. They have asked if I found my mate and my response is always yes. Many females have flirted at me to make their way to become the Luna of this pack. When they ask me where she was, I will always say that she is far away. Right now she’s beside me.
It's time to introduce her.
