Of breakdowns and Ice cream

Agatha's Point of View

It's eleven o'clock but I'm still staring at the blank wall of my room. I don't want to sleep, I'm afraid to sleep because when I wake up everything will be different again.

"Agatanga, if you don't want to sleep, go to sleep. The music is so loud, I can't sleep." I was startled when suddenly Cooper's head appeared through the slightly open door.

"Cooper fashion knock!" I smiled at him sarcastically.

"Really? That's not my style." he insisted and also smiled sarcastically. I don't know but I laughed all the way because of his face, maybe because he looked like a dog.

"Wait, why are you laughing at me?!" He entered my room with a smile on his face, it was obvious that he was annoyed. as before, he himself killed my ipod.

I just sighed, "Nothing. I'm just laughing at your face."

He frowned and immediately pointed at her face, "What's so funny about this? What you say makes you happy!" He insisted so I laughed even more.

I was laughing so much that I realized that tears were falling from my eyes. I stopped laughing and sighed.

I held my mouth, I couldn't stop myself from crying. I feel so heavy, I feel like my heart will burst with sadness if I don't cry now.

"Wait

what is happening to you?! Are you really crazy?!" Cooper's eyes widened as he screamed.

even though my tears continued to fall, I forced myself to smile. I shook my head, "I'm sorry, go back to your room." I signaled him to leave and he immediately followed.

When I was alone in my room again, I started crying. My lips and hands are shaking but I don't care, maybe I'll feel better if I let myself cry now.

Tired of smiling at everyone. I smile every day even though my heart is slowly dying. I can feel it tiring.

Everyone thought I was okay, they all thought I was strong, they didn't know that I was suffering and hurting every day.

"Mocha-flavored ice cream always makes me feel better. Try it." I was surprised to notice that Cooper was standing by my side. He was holding a large bowl full of ice cream and two spoons.

I just wiped the tears from my eyes and immediately took the spoon he handed to me. i love ice creams, i will never give it up.

I was about to take the bowl when suddenly Cooper blocked my spoon with his spoon-What is fencing with a spoon?!

"Let's go to the rooftop." He said and suddenly walked away.

"Wait, I'm not allowed to leave my room!" I insisted.

"Eh

Me too!" he insisted.

A very cold wind greeted me. It was late at night and there were many stars in the sky. I was tired from the climb but it was worth it because of the beautiful view here.

Cooper removed the jacket tied around his waist and laid it on the floor for us to sit on.

"It's beautiful here." I sat next to him and finally I was able to eat ice cream.

"The whole hospital sucks. This is the only one that doesn't." Cooper said that if you eat ice cream, it's like there's no tomorrow. Doesn't his tooth hurt from being so cold? He's really weird.

"I'm sorry you had to see my breakdown." I just smiled, actually I'm also ashamed of my behavior. I mean Cooper and I are still practically strangers to each other and then I made a drama in front of him.

"I've lived here since I was young, I'm used to seeing things. welcome to hell Agatha." Cooper said so I suddenly got scared. It's crazy to scare me even more.

I suddenly yawned.

I'm starting to feel sleepy-something I dread every day.

"Are you sleepy?" Cooper asked as he looked up at the sky.

"Unfortunately." I just sighed and rested my chin on my knee.

"You don't want to sleep?" He asked again.

"Yes. I'm afraid of what I might find when I suddenly wake up." I just smiled. Like him, I also looked up, the sky was really beautiful at night.

"Oh here." I was surprised when Cooper handed me a tweezer.

"What am I going to do here?" I stared at the tweezers I was holding.

"It's simple, use it to pull out the hair from inside your nose. Trust me, you'll lose sleep because of the pain." He smiled proudly. After all, it was the first time he smiled at me, so I couldn't help but wince. He's really weird.

"By the way, boil it first before using it. Old Leo uses it on his armpits which are very smelly." He added so I quickly threw the tweezer away.

"Yuck! You pig!" I shouted at him while wiping my hand on the pajamas I was wearing.

"The pig's luck, it's even compared to me." He raised his forehead while smirking. His ex is still rude.

I thought he was grumpy, but he wasn't. No wonder that's what Javi said earlier.

"Don't stare at me too much or you'll fall in love." Said

damn it, I didn't notice that I was staring at his ugly face.

"I just remembered something about your face....You look like a dog." I was teasing him so he immediately laughed and ate ice cream again.

"How did you last so long in this place?" I changed the conversation while eating.

"I don't know. Maybe it's because I forced myself to be strong. Also, Elder Leo is here so I never felt alone. you're lucky because you were assigned to Zero Ward, because we in this ward are like a family--"

I know Cooper is saying a lot more but my vision and hearing are slowly fading. Gradually, my eyes became heavy. Shit I don't want to sleep---

"Bet he'll wake up one day."

"What if not?"

"Edi like this, I'm going to say right in front of Reema that her favorite EXO looks like a foot. So what if I'm wrong?"

"I'll be the one to tell Reema that exo is ugly."

I heard a voice so I slowly opened my eyes. I quickly sat up even though I was still yawning.

"Your noise!" I don't know who they are because I can't see them properly yet.

"Cooper I don't want it! I'm backing off!" based on what I heard, I'm sure Javi and Cooper are in my room right now. Annoying! Why is it forbidden to lock the door, that's who enters it.

I just rubbed my eyes and yawned again, "What? How many days did I sleep?" I asked them. I couldn't help but laugh when I saw Javi's face turn pale, he must be the one I heard lost the bet.

"You only sleep for hours." I couldn't help but smile because of what Cooper said.

But wait, why am I here in my room? I think I was on the rooftop when I fell asleep last night.
