"Cooper get back here!"
A very loud scream echoed throughout the hospital hallway. He heard this, which is why he ran even faster.
The beanie he was wearing fell off his head so he stopped running and quickly picked it up. she put it back on to cover her falling hair. He was distracted, he didn't know where else to go because all the nurses he would meet or any hospital employee would surely block him. he caught sight of a room for young patients like him so he rushed to enter it.
.he breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that there was no one else in the small room, except for a young woman who seemed to be about his age sleeping on the bed.
"Hey kid, don't tell them I'm here, huh? cruel secret," insisted boy Cooper and quickly hid under the bed; he didn't care if his white pajamas and t-shirt were dirty.
after a few minutes it seemed that he got bored of hiding under the bed so he crawled out and sat at the foot of the little girl lying on the bed.
He was surprised when he noticed that the child was still sleeping, so he approached him and looked at his face.
"Do you know it's bad to sleep like oil?"
Cooper said mischievously, grinning as if he had some kind of prank in mind.
"Because I don't know your name-" Cooper took the marker from his pocket and waved it. he slowly removed the girl's oxygen mask; a dot was drawn on the side of the nose until it looked like a mole.
"I'm going to call you Gloria! Hello Gloria!" it announced while laughing. he looked back at the child again and was annoyed to see that he was still sleeping.
"You don't want to wake up, do you?" he said annoyed and drew his face again, but now he didn't put a mole but a mustache and two triangular foreheads that looked like horns.
"Hey wake up! Look at your face quickly!" He just laughed while holding his stomach. He tries to wake up the girl by poking her cheek but she still doesn't wake up which makes him even more annoyed.
"Why don't you want to wake up?!" the Cooper boy frowned and bowed slightly. He looked closely at the girl's face and slowly brought his face closer to hers.
Their faces were only a few inches apart when the mischievous smile on his face curved again... out of nowhere, he suddenly pinched the boy's nose. Because of what he did, he was temporarily unable to breathe.
"What if you don't wake up by-" Cooper's eyes widened and he stopped talking
he heard the door open.
"Dead..." cooper muttered to himself and swallowed. He just let go of the girl and immediately faced the door.
"You're a kid, you're here! We've been looking for you for a while! The injection doesn't hurt, it's just like an ant bite. Please don't be naughty!" pleads of the one who was chasing her male nurse earlier. It's already dripping with sweat and it's still rushing.
"Brother Leo! It's not good to be bitten by an ant either! If you want, you can get the injection yourself! Get married! As long as I don't want the injection!" Cooper insisted that he just sat on the floor and whined in annoyance.
"Cooper, you probably want to get better-" the nurse suddenly stopped speaking and her eyes widened as she looked at Cooper's back, she seemed shocked at what she was seeing.
"It's your problem?" Cooper turned to see what caused his expression to change.
"W-wheres mommy..." the little girl who was now sitting on her bed said softly. There was a trace of fear and wonder in his gray eyes. Even though he was weak, he was still trying to speak.
"Oh my god, wake up!" cried the nurse and suddenly ran outside to call the doctors, leaving Cooper with the girl in the room again.
Although Cooper was surprised by the nurse's reaction, he couldn't help but laugh at the now dirty face of the nurse.
young girl seems to have a mustache and horns.
"W-who are you?" He stuttered as he looked at Cooper.
"I'm Batman!" he introduced himself while giggling and suddenly ran away.
*****
"Big brother! Do I really need an injection?" Cooper cried as he saw the nurse preparing the syringe and drugs.
"Yes.You probably want to get better, don't you? Just like this, if you get an injection today, I promise I won't report to your daddy that you ran away from your room again and the other nurses had to chase you again. Deal?" it's just a suggestion.
"Hmm.Daddy's injection or litany? Wait, I'll think about the banker first!" Cooper insisted while looking up at the ceiling and stroked his chin, making the nurse wince.
"By the way Kuya leo, who was the boy earlier?" Cooper changed the conversation.
The lion grinned. "Oh that? Why, you have a crush on me? ayeee you're a young man? The question is, are you circumcised?" he teased, so the boy immediately punched him in the arm.
"Crush? I'll never have a crush! It's corny! Yuck!" Cooper insisted, getting annoyed.
"Really? Why are you asking?" the nurse prompted again while smiling foolishly and raising her eyebrows at the same time.
"Because you're ugly! You look like a foot!" Cooper shouted and hurriedly out of annoyance
ran away.
"Lintek child," the nurse said softly and just winced. he is old that's why he is depressed that he will have to chase her again. For him, Habol = Rheumatism.
Cooper is running again. Despite the mischievous smile, his intense fear was hidden. Fear because of the injection and fear of the pain that he deals with every day.
he stopped running when he noticed that he was near the door of the girl's room he saw earlier. He was surprised to notice that there was a lot of noise inside so he simply peeked through the slightly open door.
"What's up?" he said softly when he saw that there were many doctors and nurses in his room and they seemed very happy while talking to the girl.
"Good thing I caught up with you." Cooper was startled when suddenly the nurse who had completely caught up with him spoke. it rushes while sweating again.
"It's my brother!" Cooper complained, shaking his head.
"Sorry! What the hell is-" he stopped speaking when he caught a glimpse of the room where the pet was peeking. Cooper again smiled mischievously, teasingly as he realized it was a girl's room.
"I will report you to Daddy for fighting me. He will fire you!" Cooper threatened because he was so annoyed.
"Just kidding! You can't be funny anymore, why are you here in Agatha's room?" he retorted for fear of losing
work.
"Agatha? What's up and everyone seems to be happy inside? Is it her birthday?" Cooper said softly and glanced at the boy again.
Leo just laughed and patted Cooper's head. "You're 9 years old, you don't understand yet."
"That's why you're asking to understand, right?" he insists so philosophically that Leo can only hold his breath because of the nastiness of his pet.
leo knelt slightly so that they were equal with the child. "It's like this; Agatha is a strange child. She suddenly falls asleep even though she's not sleepy. last year he fell asleep, we all thought he would never wake up again that's why for us it was a miracle that he woke up yesterday." he explained.
"Does that mean he slept for almost a year? Is there such a thing?" Cooper frowned and said that it was not enough to call the nurse Leo a liar.
"That's why I said Agatha was strange, right?" the nurse became a philosopher and hugged Cooper.
"Does that mean he can go home? it's envious." Cooper said dejectedly and bowed his head. Leo could feel the deep sadness and envy he was feeling so he just patted the pet's shoulder.
"Come on. Get some rest. run fast." he said and just pulled Cooper away.
Cooper couldn't help glancing at young Agatha one last time.

7 years later...
"Cooper thank you come back here!" a scream echoed throughout the hallway that everyone in the hospital seemed to hear almost every day. Cooper heard this but instead of speeding up, he slowed down his running and turned to Leo who was his nurse since he was a child.
"Chase sign! You can do it! Don't give up!" shouted Cooper as if he was being encouraged--Or angry--by the nurse who was rushing and seemed to be about to pass out.
"Cooper you are shameless!" cried the old man, very tired and rushing.
"Go on! Don't be so pretentious! It's just like an ant bite!" Cooper shouted sarcastically, imitating what the old man had told him when he was young.
"You're really crazy! It's not an injection!" It screamed again and ended up sitting on the floor due to exhaustion. the others who saw them did nothing but fan the poor old man.
Cooper took a deep breath and ran again. He just runs, he doesn't care even if everyone looks at him very badly. he doesn't care even if he gets scolded again.
*****
He was sweating profusely when he got back to his room. During his stay in the hospital due to his illness, he had his own room where he stayed for many years.
He was about to go in to rest when he noticed that the light and door in the adjacent room were open. He was surprised because no one had been staying in this room for a long time, and he was the one who made everyone afraid that a crazy and mischievous person like him would be a neighbor.
he thought of going in here to see who his new "neighbor" was.
He was even more surprised to see a young woman sleeping on a white bed. This moment was familiar to him that's why he walked towards it without his own.
"Dejavu," he said softly when he finally saw the woman's face up close. He bent slightly to look at it. For a few moments there was silence in the whole room.
In an instant, the woman's eyes widened. startled by each other's presence, the screams of the two echoed.
