It's been two months now and thank god Aalee finally stopped disturbing Ameenah. Perhaps he's planning something. Whenever he sees her, he turns around and follow some other direction. She still feels horror-stricken to go out.

She sighed for umpteenth time. She slipped into her hijab and took her Quran. She informed mama she was leaving for islamiyya before she headed out. She met Aisha waiting for her at their meeting point.

"Have you heard that Aalee is out of town?" Aisha asked meenah as they walked to islamiyya. "No, I can't even remember when last I saw him."

"Well his elder brother came from Abuja and took Aalee with him." Aisha announced still dazed. Ameenah felt overwhelmed upon hearing that. "Alhamdulillah." She praised. "I know you'll miss the love of your life" Aisha teased earning a glare from Ameenah.

They finally arrived at the school. They headed to their class right after greeting every teacher in the staff room. Their Malam came in and their lectures started.

"I feel so happy and free now that Aalee is no more." Ameenah grinned from ear to ear. "And who told you he won't come back?" Aisha laughed at how her best friend was acting. "I'll be in school by then Insha Allah." She said. "Speaking of school, admission will soon be giving out." Aisha announced.

"Yes I know and I can not wait." They walked home while talking about school. They parted ways when they arrived at their meeting point. Ameenah walked fast because of how the weather suddenly changed. It was about to rain.

She almost bumped into someone. She stopped and looked up. "Salamu Alaykum." He said with a smile on his face. "Waalaykumus salam." She smiled back. "Ameenah right?" He asked and she nodded. "Remember me?" He asked again. "How will I ever forget about the man that saved my life. I've been looking for you to thank you."

"Uhmm it's nothing. I think you should head home cause it's about to rain. I'll see you some other time." He said and bade her goodbye. She watched him walk away in his NYSC uniform. She sighed and started walking fast again. She didn't even get to know his name.

"Salamu alaykum. Aunty I'm back." Ameenah said removing her hijab. "Welcome back. Your food is in your room. Go and eat." Aunty said and went into her and baba's room.

She kept the Quran on the side drawer and kept her hijab in her local made drawer. She sat on the floor, legs crossed and started eating her sweet tuwo miyan taushe. As she was done, she went out and kept the plate together with washing her hand and performing wudhu.

Soon it began to rain, she quickly wrapped up with her ablution and headed into her room. She offered her Maghrib prayer and sat on the mat doing her azkhar while she wait for isha.

As she was done praying, she slipped into something comfortable and jumped on her mattress. She recited her dua and fell into a deep slumber.

His phone started ringing, jolting him out of his train of thoughts. "Babe" he exclaimed. "I'm so mad at you." She said. He sat upright from the bed. "I know I haven't called you all day and I'm sorry." He apologized. "Apology not accepted." She shook her head simultaneously as if he can see her.

"Okay tell you what, I'll take you out for lunch to make it up to you." He announced making her to squeal. "I'll be waiting for you. Bye I love you." She hangs up before he could reply. He chuckled and kept the phone aside.

He got out of the bed and sauntered into the bathroom to freshen up. He wore a clean light blue long sleeved shirt with black pants. He wore Dolce and Gabbana shoe together with his silver Rolex. He sprayed himself with Arab perfume before heading out.

"I'm heading out with Yasmeen. I'll see you later." He kissed mama on the cheek. "Bye baby sis." He pinched Safwana's cheek. He sauntered out of the house and headed towards his car.

"So tell me why we're here, again?" He asked as they walked around millennium park. "I don't know, there's just something special about this place." She said excitedly. "Here, lemme help you." He offered. "Oh thank you." She handed the basket she was holding to him.

She spread the mat for them to sit. "So, what did you cook for us?" He asked when she started bringing out the food items in the basket. "I cooked tuwo for you." She joked. "Well jokes on you, I love tuwo."

"Yeah right, I believe you." She rolled her eyes. She served him some Philly Cheese Fries and vanilla ice cream. "What's this?" He asked pointing at the cheese fries. "Philly Cheese Fries." She answered. "Here, try some." She pushed it towards his mouth. "I can feed myself you know."

"No, open up." She insisted but he stopped her. "Don't worry, when you're fully mine you can feed me all you want." He winked making her to blush. "Now eat up." He did as she said. "This is delicious, who made them? I doubt you did." He teased. "I'm a great cook you know. You can ask my mom" she said, arms on her chest. "Okay I believe you." He chuckled.

They had their wonderful evening together. He accompanied her to her car before leaving for his. He couldn't help but smile as the thought of Yasmeen comes rushing to his mind. He felt loved, lucky and also cared for. He was willing to marry her, no matter what. No matter how long it takes.

He got home and went straight to mama's side. "I've been waiting for you. I want to talk to you about something." She said the minute he walked in. "Good evening to you too Mama" He said sarcastically plumping down next to her on the couch. "Don't you think it's time to make things official?" She said instead.

"To make what official?" He questioned knowing exactly what she meant. "You know, you and Yasmeen." She grinned. "Mama don't you think it's too soon?" He sighed. "The sooner the better. I'll talk to your father about it right now." She stood up from where she was sitting and headed to baba's side of the house. "Do what you think it's right." He yelled. "Yes I will honey."

He smiled and shook his head. He loved that woman. She knows how to make him happy. If it wasn't for her, he wouldn't have met the love of his life. He suddenly felt vibration from his phone. He checked, it was message from Yasmeen.

Sweetheart- "I had a wonderful evening. You really made my evening. Thank you. I can't wait for the time I can proudly call myself your wife. Every day I pray for your success, prosperity and happiness because my happiness lies in yours. I love you darling. Good night."

He kept reading the text over and over again, smiling. Ya Rabb! He's in love with this girl. He has to make her his. He has to protect her. He has to make things official. Like mama said; the sooner the better. He can't let this girl go.

"Ya Bashir!" Safwana yelled clapping her hands together. "Oh ya Allah. You have no idea for how long I've been calling you name" she sighed. "So that gives you the right to scare the living daylights out of me?"

"Yeah sorry about that. Baba wants to see you." She said and sauntered out of the living room. He rose up smoothing his shirt. He entered baba's living room with salam and plumped down on the soft carpet.

       "I'm getting married."
