Chapter 6: Sleep Over

This was the first time Bela went to her boss's house. While walking inside, she cannot stop but being mesmerized to what she's seeing right now. She went to the area where there were a lot books. That place was like a library. But sad, 'coz she's not a bookworm like her boss. She averted her gaze around her boss. Suddenly, something caught her attention. The wall clock there was not functioning. She think that maybe the clock was already ruined or the battery has not yet been replaced?

"Prepare some sandwiches and juice," her boss asked. She turned to her boss with annoyance because she was shocked to it's presence. Also, she thought that her boss brought her there just to be his maid. Imagine that her boss has a huge house but he doesn't have a maid for him to assist. She just sighed at that thought. She went straight to the kitchen and looked in the refrigerator for the ingredients she'll use.

Moments later, the door bell rang. Daryl immediately went outside to fetch the person he have meeting with.

When Bela came out of the kitchen, the two were entered at an exact time. They were both smiling at each other. Bela raised an eyebrow when she noticed that the woman was holding her boss's arm. It turned out that the meeting of her boss tonight was with beautiful and sexy woman.

She feels annoyed, so she just dropped the snack that she made on the table. Afterwards, she walks away, but her boss noticed her.

"Where are you going Ms. Bela?" She stopped at her tracked. "Please, sit beside me." Her eyes widened to what her boss said. She just followed what her boss said and sat next to him.

"Good evening Ms. Aiden," she greeted the woman.

"So how's your trip?" her boss said to the woman.

"It was exhausting," the woman replied.

"By the way, she's my secretary, Bela Isidro."

"Nice meeting you." Then they shake hands.

"So, what products are you going to launch in our company?" her boss started.

"Actually this product is new. It's iSung phone and we want Jacob's Group to launch it first," Aiden replied.

"ISung phone?" Daryl said. This was the first time he heard of that brand.

"I know it's not familiar to you but you will definitely love it," Aiden said. "I brought some samples and if you like you can have it. I also brought with me the specification for each iSung phone." Aiden then handed the sample to them.

"Ms. Bela kindly check the specification for me." Bela did checked the specification one by one and one of the features of it caught her attention.

"Oh my, is it true Ms. Aiden?" Bela said in disbelief. "One of the features of your phone is that if you take a photo of someone, this phone will automatically identify the background information of that person?"

"Yes, your right," Aiden replied.

"Oh my gosh, this phone is amazing!"

"Yes it is, you can try it if you want."

She got excited with what Aiden said. She would have done it but something crossed her mind that she couldn't because that cellphone might detect her true identity.

"No thanks," Bela said. "How about you Sir, let's try it with you, I will take a shot of you if it's reliable."

"Go ahead."

"So based here, you are Daryl Ismael Jacob, 28 years old, the CEO of Jacob's Group and you're "no girlfriend since birth"." She suddenly covered her mouth to make it more real. Actually, she just added the word "no girlfriend since birth" but the truth is, it was not included to what the Isung detected about his identity. She just want to make fun of her boss in front of the beautiful woman.

"That was too detailed, let me see," her boss said as if he doesn't believe what she was said.

"Oh, my bad Sir, I accidentally back it."

Aiden laugh a little to what she have heard. "Don't tell me you still waiting for me, huh," Aiden said while smiling towards her boss. Bela don't know but she feels irritated to Aiden's smile. And the fact that she doesn't know anything what's going on between the two. Just she heard that Aiden said that her boss might waiting for her. Then what about her boss confessed his feelings to her? Is that only a false hope?

"No, I'm just busy with my work," her boss said looking at her.

"Is that so?" Aiden said. But having no knowledge about the two, Bela just alternated her eyes between the two. "Why are you still single up to now?"

"Just waiting for the right one," her boss said while looking at her. She don't know what she'll feel about it. Does she might feel a romantic excitement or just get annoyed because she don't even know that these two had a past relationship.

"Don't just wait Daryl, make a move," Aiden said.

"Let's change the topic." Her boss pick up one phone and open it. While looking at the features, her boss somehow likes it. "I'm impressed," her boss added.

"I'm glad that you're impressed."

"So when did you plan to launch it?"

"Next month will do."

"Okay, I guess it's a deal."

"Yeah. So I guess I have to go now."

"Sure."

Daryl convey Aiden all the way to the outside of his house. He also took a few minutes before he could return. When he returned, he noticed that his secretary was also getting dressed.

"Sir, I think I need to go home, your meeting with Ms. Aiden is over," his secretary said.

"No, haven't we already talked about you sleep-over here?" he said.

"Yes Sir, but I don't have an extra shirt."

"That's not a case, we have something to do later," Ranz said. "But first we need to have our dinner."

"Do I need to cook Sir?" his secretary said politely.

"No, I already ordered."

They were eating now. But Bela couldn't focus to her food because she's thinking about the relationship of her boss with Aiden. She stared at her boss and wondered if he was just fooling her when he confessed his feelings to her.

"Why you staring at me?" Her face flushed. Even if she averted her eyes, she couldn't get away from her boss questions because they were only two of them there.

"Ah Sir, it's because...it looks like your food is tastier," she said. Her boss just laughed because of the thought that they were eating the same food.

"Okay let's exchange food for good." She just came back to her senses when she heard what her boss said.

"No Sir, my food is good." But her boss still handed him her plate and exchanged her food. Even the spoon and fork are included there. She then feels a little embarrassed. What if her boss just taste her saliva?

After eating, they took a bath. Since Bela had no clothes, her boss gave her a t-shirt and boxer shorts. After settling in, Bela went to her boss's room and brought there the papers she will going to fix.

When she landed on the table, her boss came out of the bathroom. Her boss was only wearing a bath dress, so she suddenly closed her eyes. Her boss seems a bit panicked so he immediately took off his clothes and quickly got dressed.

"You can open your eyes now."

"Sir here's the papers you want me to organize."

"Yes, sort it according to year."

"Seriously? Sir, it's too much" she complaint. By just looking at the pile of paperworks she get but to be lazy.

"Yes. Any complaints?" her boss said.

"None Sir." She turned her back on her boss and went to work. If she didn't just had a crush on her boss she wouldn't allow this sleep-over. She also did not know that it would make her suffer. If she only knew, she should not go there with her boss.

It was halfway through her work when she looked back at her boss. He was just lying down using his cellphone. It's her boss and she can't do anything even if she wants to complain.

"Hayyy ..." She acted very tired. She even stretched her arm and head. "My neck hurts."

Since her boss did not react, she just continued working. After half an hour, it finally ended as well.

She stood with resentment. He would have looked at his boss but was surprised to see him standing behind her.

"So you're done." She move back slightly because of their closeness to each other. She also smells her boss's perfume. It's already night and the smell is still there.

"Yes, Sir," she answered. "Can I go to sleep, now?"

Daryl convey her to the guest room that was reserved for her.

"You must be tired," her boss said. She just sighed because she had made it obvious before but only now did her boss notice it. What a slow mind?

"Yes, I am." She even smiled in front of her boss.

She was on her way to bed when her boss pulled her arm causing her to face him. She did nothing to escape because that was so sudden. Afterwards, she just felt the lips of her boss on her. Instead of closing her eyes, she opened her eyes to feel every kiss of her boss. Later that time, she saw hersef responding to each kisses.

When he finished, he picked her up and laid her on the bed. It's still shocking at events especially when

it still surpasses him. He just stared at his boss's face. It seems like the speed of events. He was not yet ready for the thing he was thinking to happen.

"We're not going to do that," her boss said. It seemed that her boss read her mind. "Not until we're married." Maybe her boss doesn't have any experience about sex yet so her boss just excused the married thing. But she just stopped for a moment. Is it true that her boss would marry her? Her boss get up above her and just lay beside her.

"What's that for, Sir?" She was holding on to her chest. Wondering why is her heart beating so fast now?

"What do you mean?" her boss ask.

She leaned over to face her boss.

"The kiss, Sir?" she said having a strong courage.

"Oh, you said you're tired so I kissed you," her boss said. "They say that a kiss can boost someone's energy," her boss added. She couldn't believe what her boss said. Her boss is really a great single, because her boss was convinced by the scene in the telenovela. Doesn't her boss know that kissing is harmful?

"Don't kiss me again," Bela said.

"The truth is, I kissed you because you seems jealous a while ago," her boss corrected.

"No, I'm not!" she denied even that's too obvious.

"Really? But I saw you glaring towards Aiden."

"That's not glaring, that's twinkling eyes." She lie down.

"I already said that I like you and I mean it." How can she sleep if she is worried that they might bite by the ant because of her boss's sweetness? "Aiden and I are childhood friends, both our mother were bestfriends," her boss explained. "I'm saying this because I know that you want to ask those questions but you don't have the guts to say it."

"Are you going to sleep here Sir?" she said tryin' to change the topic.

"Can I?" her boss said while staring at her.

"Well this is your house and this room also belongs to you, so you can," she replied. Who is she to argue with the house owner?

The next morning, they woke up in each other's arms. They were not shocked by that incident.

"Sir, I think it's time to let go of me." She refers to her boss hugging her. They have a work today and laziness cannot prevail.

"Oh yeah, I will cook breakfast for us." Her boss get out of bed.

"No Sir, I will do the honor," she said. "Just take a bath first so you won't be late," she added.

"How about you?" her boss said with his forehead being furrowed.

"That's it Sir, can I be late?"

"What?" her boss said a bit shocked.

"It's only a minute late Sir, 'coz I don't have with me my office attire," she explained.

"Okay fine." Then her boss goes straight to bathroom and took a bath.

Before her boss got off the bed he even kissed her on the cheek.

"Sir!" she shouted acting she doesn't like what her boss did.

She headed to the kitchen and she took eggs, bacon and bread, a kind of typical breakfast for her.

Just after she finished cooking, her boss arrived. The corporate attire really looks good on him. Any kind is probably suitable for his handsome face.

"Sir, let's eat," she said.

When she finished eating, her boss drove her to her condo unit. Her boss didn't think that she live in the condo in front of the Jacob's Group and that made him a bit surprised.

"I'll get going Sir," she said waving her hands to her boss.

"See you later."

Then they part ways.
