Chapter Five

"Is he in a hurry?" Zabrina asked me while adjusting Sandex's neck tie.

I am here today at Sandex's condo to give her an invitation card for our wedding.

Since the wedding will happen next week on a private island. I decided to give an invitation card to our friends already, Sky is not with me. He is busy with some stuff in the office.

I also don't want to disturb him because I can do it alone, Tanya would have wanted to accompany me but she is busy with her son, especially since they did not hire an assistant for the child, because Tanya want to focus on the child. In case Sky and I don't have quadruplets, I might not get an assistant either.

"Maybe he doesn't want to let go of me anymore," I jokingly said.

"Hah! Cheesy." She snorted.

I once asked Zabrina why they haven't married yet, she said it is because of Black Base, and aside from that. She still wants to enjoy life.

I somehow wonder, why is that okay with him?

Doesn't he want Sandex to marry her? These are the questions that run through my mind, I avoided asking her because they both seem happy with what they have.

Maybe because they don't have children yet

"Zab, you do nothing other than playing with Sandex 'neck tie. Why can't you just come with me to give this to Janine?" Then I waved in front of her the cards I was still holding.

She rolled her eyes upwards before putting down the neck tie's on the drawer.

"This maybe the reason why I don't want to get married. There are too many to take care of." She complained.

I just smiled when I saw that she had opened her closet with Sandex and started looking for something to wear.

I was not surprised when she took a gun inside and put it in a bag.

She always says that it's for the safety.

Maybe I'm used to it because Dan is the same, maybe everyone in their Base. Maybe only Janine because she prefers their life to be normal.

"You are sure you are going to marry Sky? You know, Isabelle. You can enjoy your life, single." She raised her brows before showing me two of her dress, as if asking what she would wear.

"Why not? I am already a mother of four kids, Zabrina and Sky is the father. I don't see any reasons not to marry him." I answered.

She just shrugged.

"I like the yellow one," I said while pointing to the yellow dress he was holding.

"Okay thanks. I just showered then let's go." I nodded at her, she turned around and went into the bathroom.

I sat on their bed, took out my cellphone and then tapped a message for Sky.

Me:

I hope you ate lunch.

A few minutes later I received a reply.

Sky:

I will after I sign some papers. You too, hm?

Me:

Aye, aye. I also just receive a message from manang that the quad already ate.

Sky:

Good, I miss them already.

I was about to type a reply when my cellphone suddenly rang, this man is really crazy.

The smile never left my lips when I answered that.

"Do you miss me right away?" I will ask.

"Yeah," he said in a low tone.

I bit my lower lip to prevent myself from smiling, why is he like this? Even though I have a child, I am still thrilled.

"I missed you too, Sky." I said sweetly.

"I want to see you, hug you and kiss you." I heard him groan on the other side.

I let out a soft chuckle.

"Me too," I replied softly.

"I still want to talk to you but I am really busy right now, talk to you later baby. I love you."

"I love you too." Then he turned off the call.

I just looked around Zabrina's room.

It is simple but elegant. Suits for both of them.

When Zabrina came out of the bathroom she was already wearing that yellow dress. It painted her curvy body and made her even whiter.

She just tied his hair but it suited her.

She putted some lip tint on her lips then took the bag in front of the mirror.

"Let's go," she called to me before stepping out of the room.

I just shook my head and took my bag before following her.

When I came out I caught her wearing her doll shoes.

"So, let's go to Janine and Sebastian first? Other than Tanya, they are the ones who like to hang out at home." she said as she adjusted the shoes.

"Okay, they have a Grace Subdivision, right? Then at bellevue is Zack. So we can hurry." I said

"Yeah, yeah. Let's go and use my car, just leave your car here. You are not a good driver." She said smirking.

I just frowned, I'm not a bad driver. She just doesn't want me to drive because I'm too careful.

What do I expect with her? She wants fun, and she only sees that fun when she drives.

Fast and fearless

We got to Janine quickly, as Zabrina said they were just hanging out at their house.

Janine's legs are on Sebastian's lap. There is juice and snacks on their coffee table as they watch frozen.

"Congrats, Isabelle. Finally you and Sky will get married. And I'm pretty sure of that." She said happily and then arranged to sit, reason for her and Sebastian to be closer.

"It's so corny to get married, the last time I saw you wearing your wedding gown Janine, you were crying." Zabrina smirked at the same time.

"You're corny. Aren't you jealous? Tanya is married, I'm married. Now Isabelle. Time is running out for you, Zab. "Janine replied before she was stoned by cheetos.

"What!" She complained. "I don't know about you." She blinked and then stood up to get away from Janine.

"I'll follow you, there's a red tide." I'm joking.

Janine just laughed and nodded. Sebastian just nodded and waved.

Since Grace and Bellevue were so close together, we quickly reached Zack's house.

I ring the doorbell.

"Wait!" I heard a voice of a woman.

Zabrina and I looked at each other.

"Has he dated yet?" I furrowed when I asked.

"That's impossible." She said.

When the door opened I almost stiffened where I was standing.

How is she here?
