Chapter Four

"Ate, don't be nervous." Francine calmed me down.

Earlier I was playing with my fingers while sitting here on the sofa of Zayrene's house. Francine was next to me while Dan and Marco played with the kids.

I'm really nervous, what if we split up again? I don't think I can do that anymore. Is it always like this?

"Franc..." I said then looked up.

My heartbeat, I feel like I'm already trembling with nervousness. This is the first time I will meet Sky's mother so I can't really avoid being nervous.

"Sister, Mama is kind." Francine comforted me.

I was just pissed.

A few minutes later I saw Sky back with his mother.

I quickly got up from my seat.

Sky's mouth fell open at my reaction, I frowned and averted my eyes.

I just felt his presence by my side.

"Mom, this is Isabelle." He said, introducing me to his mom. I swallowed again. Skye immediately got up from Dan's embrace and ran towards me.

"You're Isabelle." My mouth dropped open and I seemed to lose my voice when it spoke.

"Mom, you are making her nervous." Sky chuckled before pulling my waist towards him.

"H-hello po,"

"Mommy," I heard Skye said so Sky let go of me when I bent down to face the child.

I saw Zerine and Skyler sleeping with Dan and Marco.

"So they are my grandchildren?" I looked up when Sky's mother spoke again.

"Yes, mom. This is Skye, the youngest. Zabrinna, Zerine and Skyler." Introducing her to the children. I picked up Skye and then walked closer to us.

"They are so adorable, Sky. How come I just saw my grandchildren." I was surprised when he smiled and walked closer to the children.

"I told you, mom." Said Sky before pulling Zabrinna up to carry her.

His mother turned to look at me after she stared at the children.

"Welcome to the family, Isabelle."

After we met Sky's mother, there was a little party first and then Sky was happy to go home because the children looked tired.

I was with Sky who took Skyler and Zerine to their room, Francine, Marco and Dan came home earlier.

"Isabelle," Sky knocked on Zerine and Zabrinna's bedroom door. I first adjusted Zerine's blanket and then approached Zabrinna who is now asleep.

When I turned to Sky, he was walking towards me.

"Did you get tired?" He asked then took my hand to guide me around to finally face him.

"Maybe you're tired, you're not used to kids yet." I told him and then pulled him out of Zabrinna's room because they might wake up.

When we got out, I took him to the living room, it's good that everyone is asleep and we don't have maid right now so we are alone at home.

I fell like a child on the sofa while holding his hand, the reason why he almost fell on me.

I laughed so he just shook his head and sat beside me, without letting go of my hand.

I moved a little to fit, but he just pushed me closer to him to hug me tightly.

I pressed my face to his neck. I just felt him bring his face close to my head and kiss it.

"Mom asked earlier when we were going to get married," he said as I shrugged my shoulders a little, teasing him.

"Aray," I complained and then moved my head to his chest to get there.

"When?" He repeated before fixing my hair that was blocking my face.

"Hm, when do you want?" I asked back.

He lean closer to me give me a peck. "Next week?" He almost whispered.

I smiled and then put my finger on the tip of his nose, I stabbed him so he closed his eyes.

"Right away?" My tender question.

"Hm, right away." I just laughed and then hugged him again.

"Hm, next month." I said.

He just nodded and then hugged me as well. I just felt like we were sleeping in that position.
