Chapter 4

We stopped in an open sea. We walked there hand in hand. In his other hand he was carrying a basket. From there he took out two blankets. He laid one out. He sat down and grabbed my hand to pull me to sit between his legs.

He locked me in his thighs and arms. He placed a blanket on his back to my front. We were looking at the gentle and peaceful sea. Only the lapping of the waves can be heard. The wind was cold blowing on my face but I didn't feel it because of the warm hug coming from Vincent's body.

"I always wanted to do this with you. Every time you reject my offer to you, I go straight here. This is where I build my heart that you hurt again and again every time you say the word "No". When I'm here, I looked at this beautiful scene. Beautiful stars in the sky, placid sea, cold breeze of sea wind, the stillness of the moment and all I can think is you. I said to myself I want to bring you here. I want you to see how beautiful this place is. So even though I fail to come here before I leave, I have hope again that one day the two of us will watch this beautiful view" he grabbed my hair and put it on my other shoulder.

"V, I'm sorry. Sorry for being so coward to take the risk. I was too scared to lose you especially when I see you hurt a lot of women. I can imagine what if it was me? I can be hurt but losing you and Let's break like that's what I can't do. So sorry for being too coward" I caressed his arms hugging me.

He pulled my stomach closer to lean more against him. I calmly rest my back on his chest.

"No need to say sorry baby, you're in my arms now. I won't let you go this time. I waited for more than a decade to finally call you mine" and he kissed my shoulder. "You never know how you brought joy in my heart the moment you said yes"

"Hmm.. you're making it seem too dead to me "Maybe" it doesn't contradict what I said. "C, promise you'll stay through highs and lows. When it's getting hard, promise me you'll let me fight our battles. When it's getting blurry, promise me we'll find a way to make it clearer. Promise me we'll choose each other always" I could feel the sincerity in every word that came out of Vincent's mouth

"I promise. I already stayed with you more than a decade, am I going to go away now?"

I showed him my pinkie finger and held his pinkie finger too. I combined that to make a pinkie promise.

"And whenever we are lost, this place will always bring us together" I smiled as I close my eyes and feel the loud heartbeat of Vincent's heart

The beat of your heart will be my favorite music.

Everyday was a bliss. Being with Vincent made my life happier and livelier. Everyday he never fails to make me smile, to surprise me, and to remind me how thankful he is for the chance that I had given him. He never faded from exciting me like now.

He is holding his most precious guitar while singing our favorite song.

So take my hand, I wanna grow old with you beside me

He sings it while his eyes never leave mine. When he finished the song, he caressed my cheek and muttered "I love you everyday, baby"

Everyday he never forgets to tell me those three magical words that always made my heart leap out of joy.

"Let's go out tonight" Vincent said to me "Where are we going?"

"I want to celebrate"

"Celebrate what?" I asked him in surprise

"Spending a 100 days with you, C" he said and planted a kiss on my forehead.

Yes, a 100 days with him. Maybe that's how you don't notice that the day goes by so quickly, especially if you're happy and in love. Vincent and I often forget the special dates of our relationship. We do not celebrate monthsarries so sometimes we just laugh that that day has already passed. Because we are more used to celebrating birthdays, Christmas and New Year only at the cinema.

"I want to come too" Kim suddenly appeared next to me

"No, it's just for the two of us" Vincent said gruffly

Kim anchored her arms around me and rested her head on my shoulder

"Sister C, let me come, please" and she used her most charismatic gray eyes.

I smiled as I pinched her nose.

"You're really beautiful, when I have a baby, I'm going to conceive you" I happily said to her.

I looked at Vincent who now had a hidden smile on his lips. He tried to hide it by bowing.

"Why are you smiling V?" I wondered

"I just love your thoughts of having a baby" and he playfully looked at my belly.

My face immediately warmed up when I realized what he said. I know at this moment my face is red because even Kim is teasing me with looks.

I throw a pillow at him because of what he thinks. "Ass" I mouthed at him and he replied "I love you" which made my face redder this time.

"Sister C, I'll come with you," Kim repeated, bringing my attention back to her "Okay" I said with a smile

"Me too. I'm too bored here" Ethan entered from their gym room, sweaty as if he had just exercised

"What is that? How can I be alone with C if you two come with me" V moved next to me and hugged me sideways

"It's okay V. Let's party tonight? I miss the night life" and I leaned my back completely against her breasts.

"Yes, sister I miss the night life" Kim seconded.

I saw his older brother's eyes turn to him. There is a trace of surprise and wonder in their eyes.

"Oops, I think I spilled some information that I shouldn't" Kim scratched her head

"And who are your friends at the bar?" Ethan said excitedly

"Just some friends brother and it's only been two times. Those times were super stressful at school" explained Kim "You're grounded" said Vincent while caressing my back and making small circles on it that sent some tickling feelings in my belly.

"What? Papa and Mama allowed me that time. You're the only one I didn't tell because I know how protective you are" Kim's forehead was wrinkled this time.

"Still, you're grounded" Ethan insisted

"Ah, I'll come with you. I'll fix myself" Kim didn't wait for what her older brothers had to say and quickly ran into her room. Ethan followed him, looking like he wasn't done scolding the twin.

"I'll go home now and change my clothes "Alright, We'll pick you up. Don't wear too revealing, too tight, too short, and too sexy clothes, understand baby?" he said while combing my hair with his fingers.

"Yes baby" I said and planted a goodbye kiss on his lips.

It was 8pm when the twins picked me up. I only wear a halter dress that is above my knee and put on a denim jacket to hide some of my skin. I saw Vincent's eyes following me while going down the stairs. I ran to him and encircled my arms on his neck and kissed him.

"How do I look?" I said between our kisses

"You look gorgeous as always" he said while chasing my lips because I was slightly pulling away from him.

We heard the horn of his black SUV car. We laughed upon hearing it and went out after completely leaving.

The "Night District" is alive and well tonight. There were already a lot of people outside and when you got inside, your heart almost started pounding when you heard the music.

Vincent held my waist while going to the table he had reserved for us. Ethan supports Kim. While walking there were many greetings to Ethan and Vincent who obviously always stay in this place.

"It looks like it's new again! It's like the person you were with here the other day is different" said Vans, one of the people Vincent often tells me that he always spends time here.

"Gago and jokingly punched her in the stomach. "This is Calixta, my girlfriend" he added emphasis on the word "girlfriend" "and this is Kim, my twin" Vincent introduced us to the four handsome men in front of us .

The men's mouths turned "o".

"So she's the one" said Cromwell.

"We've heard so much about you" Damon said with a smile

"You're always the cause of Vincent's sad heart" Wesley said laughing

"Get out of here" he said

I saw their eyes turn to Kim, who is now busy moving her head along to the music.

"Hands off my brother, you f*ckers" and Ethan covered the line of vision of his friends.

"It's a weed. Just take a look. We'll be there just in case you think about visiting us" they pointed to the table just behind us.

The drinks that Vincent ordered for us also arrived. Kim and I only had cocktail drinks which he immediately pissed off while the other two had whiskey and Jack Daniel's in front.

"You good?" Vincent's breath smelled like a mixture of mint and whiskey when it hit my nose. I don't know but that seems to add more to his appeal. I looked at him only to see that our faces were just a little too far apart. He bit his lower lip to suppress his smile. Even though it was dark around, it still didn't escape my sight.

"Are you having fun?" he asked again and I smelled his breath again. I closed my eyes when it hit my face. I want to taste him.

I crossed our lips. I closed my eyes as I started moving my lips. I bit his lower lip and grazed my tongue on it. I can taste his sweet lips. He gasped when I touched his jaw and that's my cue to enter my tongue in his mouth. I tasted the whiskey in his mouth which seemed to make me more drunk so I kissed him even deeper. He is just following my lead. He lets me lead the kiss that we share this time.

I smiled as we ended our kiss.

"Whiskey tastes better when it's in your mouth" I winked at him before I turned my back on him.

"Argghhh. You are a naughty one baby" he whispered on my ears before he softly kissed my nape.

I giggled as I felt his warm breath and soft lips on it.

"V, let's go to them" Ethan said to his brother, referring to the table of friends who are now waving at us

"Stay here, we'll be with them for a while" he kissed my temple before they left

Kim immediately approached me when the two brothers left.

"Brother V and I are jealous of you two, you are obviously in love with each other" she said as she held my hand.

"I'm really happy for you Sister C, I know that you've been restraining yourself to show your love to Brother but now your so brave to show it to everyone" and she squeezed my hand.

"Thank you Kim"

"Enough of this drama. Let's dance" and pulled me upright.

I just laughed when people found us immediately in the sea. Kim started to dance. His body follows the music. I can see that she got some moves. After all, he is part of the cheerdance. I closed my eyes and tried to sway my hips.

I miss this! The kind where you dance your thoughts and feelings

I traced my body using my hands until it was raised. I grind my hips and smile as I recognize the rhythm of the song. I was too indulgent dancing when I felt a hand snaking in my waist.

I quickly opened my eyes and pushed the one behind me.

"You look hot while swaying those sexy hips of yours. Want some company?" he asked and grabbed my waist again.

"What! Let me go!" I shouted and hit his chest.

"Come on, I know you will like this" and he smiled menacingly

"What the hell! Move away" I also heard Kim's voice that like me was being touched by a man.

My heart beat faster because of fear. I looked around but I couldn't see Vincent and Ethan. The man pulled me closer to him. In fear, I stepped on his foot with the stiletto I was wearing.

"Ouch!" he screamed so I broke free from his grip.

I was approaching Kim when I saw that her brother's friend, Damon, was already there.

"If you don't want to, don't force it" he looked sharply at the man holding Kim. I also noticed the man's face that seemed to be hurt by Damon's grip. He took Kim by her waist and hid her behind him. I was relieved to see that Kim was okay. I was about to approach him when someone violently pulled my arm, I choked on the tightness of his grip.

"You b*tch" shouted the man with sharp eyes looking at me
