I feel guilty

I felt a pang of guilt at the mention of James, my boyfriend of almost a year. He was once a super guy, kind and protective, and he cherished me extra than anything. But lately, I had been feeling restless. There was an itch internal me that couldn't be scratched, a yearning for something more.

"I know," I stated quietly, my eyes downcast. "I love James, and I would in no way do whatever to harm him. But?"

"But what?" Ryan asked, his eyes narrowing.

"I do not know," I admitted, feeling foolish. "I simply experience like something is missing, you know?"

Ryan let out a sigh, his grip on my arm loosening. "I understand, Anna," he said softly. "Believe me, I do. But you have to be mindful that you dedicated James, and to our pack. You cannot just throw that away due to the fact you are feeling restless."

"I know," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

"Good," Ryan said, flashing me a small smile. "Now, let's get you back to safety."

We walked again to the pack house in silence, my mind spinning with possibilities. What did it imply that Ryan understood me? Was there something greater there, something that we have been both too afraid to explore?

I pushed the concept away as we reached the house, grateful to be returned to familiar territory. James was once waiting for me, his face lighting fixtures up when he saw me.

"There you are," he said, wrapping his hands around me. "I used to be worried about you."

"I'm fine," I said, returning his embrace. "Just needed some fresh air."

"Okay," he said, searching at me quizzically. "Well, I'm happy you're back. I neglected you."

"I neglected you too," I said, flashing him a smile.

But as I seemed over at Ryan, who was observing us with an inscrutable expression, I could not omit the spark of something new and exciting that had been ignited within me. The forbidden moonlit encounter had changed everything, and I knew that I could by no means go lower back to the way things were before.

The subsequent day, I couldn't shake the feeling of restlessness that had been bothering me for weeks. I did not recognize what it was intended or what to do about it, however as I went about my daily routine, I determined myself continuously distracted and unable to focus.

At lunchtime, I decided to take a walk by myself to clear my head. But as I passed by way of a secluded spot with the aid of the river, I heard an acquainted voice calling out to me.

"Anna," Ryan said, a hint of urgency in his voice. "We need to talk."

I became to face him, feeling a shiver of pleasure run through me. Being on my own with Ryan was dangerous, but exhilarating at the equal time.

"What's going on?" I asked, attempting to maintain my voice steady.

"I can not stop wondering about what occurred ultimate night," he said, taking my hand in his. "I recognize I shouldn't, however, I cannot assist it."

"I sense the identical way," I admitted, looking up into his severe gaze.

"We can not act on these feelings, Anna," he said, his tone serious. "It would break the whole thing we've got built here, our families, our relationship with the pack. We have to preserve our distance, for everyone's sake."

"I know," I said, feeling a twinge of disappointment. "But how do we pass these feelings? How do we proceed like nothing has changed?"

"It won't be easy," Ryan said, his grip on my hand tightening. "But we'll have to find a way. We dedicated to our mates and the pack, and we have to honor that."

"I understand," I said, feeling a knot structure in my stomach. "But how do we go forward from here? How do we make this work?"

Ryan let out a deep sigh. "I don't know, Anna," he said, his voice strained. "All I comprehend is that we cannot provide into these feelings, no be counted how strong they are."

I felt a pang of disappointment, but I knew that Ryan used to be right. We had obligations and responsibilities that could not be ignored. But as I walked away from him, my heart felt heavier than ever before. I loved James, but something internal used to be pulling me into a course I couldn't ignore.

I tried to bury my feelings for Ryan deep down inside, but they stored resurfacing, like unending combat inside me. I observed myself constantly drawn to him, drawn to his strength, his power, and his intensity.

I lay in bed next to James, I couldn't break out the feeling that I used to be with the incorrect person. I loved James, but he couldn't offer me what Ryan could. He couldn't fit the depth of our forbidden connection.

I pushed the notion away, feeling guilty and ashamed. But the more I tried to bypass it, the more advantageous it grew to be until I may want to barely incorporate myself any longer.

I was heading to the pack house for a meeting, but Ryan suddenly caught up with me.

"We want to talk, Anna," he said, his tone serious.

"What is it?" I asked, feeling my heart fee quicken.

"There's something I want to inform you," he said, his eyes boring into mine.

"What is it?" I requested again, my voice barely above a whisper.

"I've been questioning about you," he said, his voice low and husky. "About us."

I felt a surge of exhilaration blended with fear. "What do you mean?" I asked, my voice trembling.

"I mean that I cannot cease wondering about you," he said. "About the way we feel when we're together."

"I feel the identical way," I admitted, feeling my pulse race.

"We cannot hold denying it, Anna," Ryan said, taking my hand in his. "We have to face this head-on, not remember the consequences."

"I do not recognize if I'm equipped for that," I said, feeling my thoughts warring inside me.

"Then let me show you," Ryan said, leaning in to kiss me.

I was lost in the depth of the moment, overwhelmed by the forbidden ardor that had been simmering between us for months. But as I pulled away, I knew that I should by no means go lower back to the way things were before. My coronary heart used to be torn between two men, two conflicting desires, and I knew that a desire had to be made.

But before I could decide, the whole lot changed. The pack used to be attacked by rogue werewolves, and our lives had been becoming upside down. In the chaos and turmoil that followed, I observed myself leaning on Ryan extra and more, relying on him for guidance and comfort.

We fought to shield our pack and our cherished ones, the whole lot else appeared to fade away. For a brief moment, it felt like we had been in this together, everything else forgotten. But when the dirt settled and the threats were neutralized, reality came flooding back.

I knew that I could not continue down this course of temptation and betrayal. My coronary heart was broken up in two, torn between the man I loved and the forbidden passion that threatened to smash the entirety I held dear. The desire was mine to make, and I knew that no matter what selection I made, it would exchange the trajectory of our lives forever.
