Chapter 3: Time flies

Cassey was in school the next day, there she met Richard, he just arrived.

“Hello hope you good?” Richard asked.

“Sure! Hope you too.” retorted Cassey.

Richard proposed they walk to class together, as they entered Harley was already in class and waiting for him. He saw Richard walking in with Cassey and he was amazed,

“Isn’t she the girl who was rushed to the infirmary yesterday?” Harley asked

“She’s the one.” Richard replied.

Harley asked what they were doing together, he asked if something went on between them, Richard told him he met her outside and as his classmate, he proposed they walked together.

The school was over and Harley rushed home, Richard was still in class, Cassey same, but she was done and almost left school, Richard now approached her and asked if he could take a seat, Cassey accepted. They talked for a while and since time was not on their side, Richard invited Cassey to a restaurant, this was to take place at 9 pm, he asked if by that time she could be free and she accepted his invitations. They were now out of school, Cassey took a taxi for the house while Richard's driver drove him to his house.

Cassey entered the house all excited, Chelsea was in the living room, she asked if Cassey was excited because she found herself a rich guy. Cassey said there was more to that, Chelsea got up from the chair in which she was seated and asked Cassey to tell her more about the guy. She asked several questions at the same time “is he handsome, is he rich, is he tall?” she was frustrating Cassey with all her questions, she asked if she had taken a pic of him, she wanted to see him and know what he looked like.

Genny was in her room, she heard as Chelsea was pestering Cassey with all her questions and decided to intervene, she came out of her room and joined them in the living room.

“Why are you harassing her? Too many questions.” Genny asked Chelsea.

Chelsea said she wanted to know everything about this guy to know if they were compatible, Genny then asked her if she was God to know when two people were meant to be together, she said she was talking out of the experience and her age

It was almost 9 pm, Cassey was getting ready for her rendezvous, Chelsea was the one making her up. As they were done, she accompanied her to the roadside where she got a taxi, a few minutes later she arrived at the destination, Richy was outside waiting for her, he held her hand and they both entered the restaurant. It was a luxurious restaurant, it was Cassey’s first time entering such.

They passed their commands, and the waitress went getting them. They were now talking about themselves, Richard asked to know more about her, but all that she could describe we're what she loved and her character she was unable to reveal to Richard she was a nobody. The waitress was finally here with their commands, they ate and after that, Richard proposed to Cassey they go visit his apartment and she accepted.

They left the restaurant now and straight to his house, on their arrival they took more drinks and got drunk before they could realize they got naked and made love all night. When Cassey got up, she found herself on Richard's bed and was trying to figure out what she was doing on his bed, once she got up, she realized she was naked,

“Oh my God, I had sex with a stranger!” Cassey murmured to herself.

Richard was still asleep it was only after 20 minutes he got up, looked at himself and by his side was Cassey he was as confused as her.

“What happened?” Cassey asked,

“I guess we were drunk, why are you acting like I killed someone? We are no longer kids and besides it was just a night nothing to panic about.” Richard said.

Cassey was angry about what happened last night, but had no choice as it already happened. She wore her dress and was about to go out, Richard proposed to drop her but she refused, she insisted she never needed his help. 30 minutes later, Cassey was home, she knocked on the door and Chelsea was the one who opened the door, she quickly went out to see if it was a car who dropped Cassey when she found none she got back into the house. She asked Cassey if he had no car, Cassey said he has

“And he is un capable of dropping you after spending a night with you? He's not serious, you should dump him.” Chelsea said.

Richard was home and could not stop thinking about Cassey, it was his first time thinking about a woman, Harley came in and he barely had time for him. Harley asked what was the problem and Richard explain everything,

“Bro you are in love.” Harley said.

Two weeks passed and Richard still kept feeling something for Cassey, Harley asked him several times who this girl was but Richard told him he was gonna reveal it to him once he was sure it was love. As time flu, Richard’s love for Cassey kept on increasing, he kept inviting her but she kept rejecting his invitations as she was sure of his intentions towards her.

Richard only met Cassey at school and they had limited time for themself as the lecturers occupied all their hours. After Richard proposed several times to Cassey been his girlfriend, she finally accepted. Richard was so happy and invited her for a walk after school, this time Cassey accepted his invitation.

Cassey arrived home and taught of sharing the news with her friend and sister,

“Guess what?” Cassey asked.

“What? You know we are not good in guessing,” Genny and Chelsea said.

“I said yes to Richard, we are now dating.” Cassey said with so much joy.

Genny jumped over her and was happy, her sister had finally found love after a whole year of deception.

“Oh that? I don't think it's gonna work you better have a rethink about all this.” Chelsea said as she went back to her seat.

“Why are you discouraging her, do you think all men are the same? Richard is different, you better watch what comes out of your mouth.” Genny retorted.

Though Chelsea’s words concerning the relationship between her and Richard were not encouraging, she refused to back down. She told Chelsea she was gonna give him a try and there was nothing she could do about it, again Chelsea asked her not to rush over it. She told Chelsea that her mind was already made up. Genny asked Cassey not to waste her time with Chelsea, she held her hand and took her to her room, they changed the topic, and Cassey's smile came back.
