Chapter 2: A dream

It was a Wednesday, they had no class so Richard and Harley went out for sports. They met beautiful ladies of all types of shapes, Harley was so addicted to women, each time he saw them, he felt like spending more time in the area in which he was found. It was time for them to get home.

“Bro it's time let's move,” Richard said, as he was rushing to go charge his phone, it was completely down.

“Oups! Taught I could find a lady for tonight, anyway let's get out of here.

As they were about to leave, Richard received a call, it was his mum. He took the phone and they talked for a while,

“Hello son, how are you?” Rosemary asked,

“I’m great mom and you?” Richard said.

“Equally fine. So how is school?”

Richard and his mom talked and she dropped the call, he now continued with his friend to the house. They were home and had no food to eat, they got to the kitchen to get something done, unfortunately for them, it turned out bad as the excess salt could not permit them to eat the fried rice they had wasted time on. Angry about what happened, they decided to go to a nearby restaurant, they could not bear the pains of getting into the kitchen as they were so famished.

The night was fast approaching and Cassey was home getting her assignment done she was to present them the next day at school. Chelsea and Genny were out for a friend’s party, they had stayed out more than they had to, after Cassey was done with her assignments, she tried calling to know if they were safe, but no one picked her call. She went to bed and was waiting for them to show up. One hour later they were home, Genny knocked on the door while Chelsea was struggling to remove her heels as they were painful, Cassey woke up to go open the door for them, they entered and they talked a little bit about the party.

It was almost 11 pm and Cassey went to bed followed by Genny and Chelsea. During her sleep, Cassey had a dream, in this dream, she dated Richard and a few months later they got married, they seemed in love until Chelsea destroyed their marriage being the reason for their divorce, and later occupied her spot. Cassey immediately woke up from her sleep, she sounded terrorized. She looked at her friend Chelsea who was deeply sleeping and murmured to herself

“It’s just a dream, I don't think Richard Walters would ever want to be into a relationship with me, talk less of getting married to me, and besides, I trust Chelsea she can't stamp me with a knife, she got my back,” Cassey said.

Jenny who heard as Cassey was murmuring to herself got up and asked why she was awakened in the middle of the night she said “ A dream” and she went back to bed.

The next morning, Cassey woke up very early, had her bath while Chelsea was in the kitchen getting breakfast done. Cassey was done in the room and was now in the living room to join Genny and Chelsea, they were done taking breakfast and as Cassey was about to go out, Chelsea asked her not to forget to get herself some rich looking handsome guy, Cassey smiled and went out waiting for the school bus as she never wanted to be late.

Genny was now home with Chelsea, she asked Chelsea why she liked talking about rich guys all the time, and Chelsea answered her.

“Do you like your current situation? Are you in love with your looks? I can't be broke and wishing to date a broke guy. Cassey had luck schooling with rich kids, she should take advantage of that.” Chelsea said while folding her arms and looking straight into Genny's eyes.

Genny was now speechless and promised to say nothing, she quietly got to her room and locked herself up.

Cassey was in school and the whole campus had sports that morning, after sports, they had no lecturer till the end of the day, Harley proposed they played football the girls against the boys and the gender who loses was to organize a party coming Saturday. Both genders accepted the idea, it was now time for selection, Cassey was excluded as she was unable to play, she sat on the waiter's bench and watched them play, it was very interesting until one of the players in his attempt to kick the ball knocked down Cassey, Richard who was standing next to Cassey rushed her to the school infirmary, he arrived and the school nurse was about getting up as it was equally late, he pleaded with her to the look upon her case, she then asked him to place Cassey on the bed, she gave her some drugs to take and she told Richard she was going to be fine, she added saying the only thing Cassey needed was enough rest. Richard proposed to stay by her until she was up. The school nurse accepted and took her bag and left the campus.

Two hours later, Cassey was up though she still had a headache, it was no longer deplorable as the other case, Richard introduced himself

“Hey i’m Richard and you?” Richard asked, he was folding his arms while standing next to her.

“Cassey!” retorted Cassey

“What we're you doing around that area, it's very dangerous, you lucky enough nothing serious happened.” Richard said.

Once they were done with their little conversation, Richard asked to take Cassey home, unfortunately, Cassey rejected his proposal she told him she was strong and could get home by herself. Richard was not willing to insist he kindly walked her through the school gate till she found a taxi that was going in her direction.

Once she was home, she could not believe she was just from discussing with the almighty Richard Walters. It was like a dream come true, Genny who was seated by her noticed she was constantly smiling and wanted to know the reason behind the smile. Cassey told her it was nothing to panic about.
