Chapter Three

The room alone looked like a million dollars. After admiring the room, she strode towards the door, held the door knob and turned it. Immediately, the door opened, she took a step so as to leave the room but collided into someone else.

When she raised her eyes, she saw a young handsome looking man who looked rich. She did not know who he was but recognized him as the person that entered the house from the black car parked outside and from the way, the gate man behaved towards him, she felt that he was someone important.

She knew she was busted and tried thinking of a way or something to say. She could not even look at him.

She kept her head down and began crying. The man was suprised to see the woman cry and wondered what happened because he had not yet dealt with her for trespassing.

She moved towards him and held his leg begging, "please sir help me. My son is missing and his friends said they saw him enter your compound. Please, he is the only one I have."

He kept looking at her with distain and disgust in his eyes. He looked down at the hands that held his left leg and felt like puking.

He could not stand a moment being in the same room with her and he moved his legs forcefully, thereby making the woman fall on her face. He moved to the far end of the room and dialed a number on his phone.

The person picked and he said "Come to the second room by your right".

After getting a response from the other person, he ended the call.

He started inspecting the room to check if the filthy woman had ruined anything. When he had checked and found nothing ruined or spoilt, he spoke "how did you get in?".

"Well sir, please do not get me wrong. I did this only for my son. I can not loose him", she begged.

You did not answer my question, he said.

She wanted to move closer to him but he moved back, then he turned and left the room without saying anything.

He walked out of the room and met the securities at the door and wondered why they did not come in. He was angry that he waited for them and had to be in the same room with that filthy woman.

So, he immediately fired them and told them to leave. With sad faces, they wanted to beg but knew that he never changes his mind.

They were leaving the house when an old woman who has been a nanny for the boys for more than twenty years stopped them and asked. They told her every single detail without hiding anything including the fact that she was looking for her son, which they overheard, in hope that she can save their jobs.

On hearing everything, she told them to call two more securities to watch over the girl while she went inside. She wanted to get to see the girl but decided to look for the son of any was here.

She went from room to room and finally heard a whimper coming from Richard's room. She was about leaving when she remembered seeing Richard and his friend John in the dinning room eating.

She opened the and saw a little boy curled up, sweating all over his body and dirts we're all over him. She felt sorry for the boy and took him out.

She cleaned him up and dressed him. She later took him to see Michael, the young master of the Jordan family.

Meanwhile, Maria wondered what punishment she will get. She tried opening the door but was faced with two strong and tall men.

On seeing them, she immediately went back inside. They entered the room too, she could not believe what was happening. All her mind could tell her is that they are going to hurt her, with that, she immediately fainted.

The old nanny knocked on the doors of the young master's study room, after awhile she got a reply. With that she twisted the door knob, opened it and got in with the boy she held tightly with her other hand.

They both walked towards the young man behind the table. "Sir, I found the woman's son in Roderick's room". She said.

She got no response from him so she continued, "sir, please she was not lying, let them go", she pleaded.

He slowly raised his head from what he was reading and stared at both of them. He wanted to react badly but remembered this woman was like a mother to him.

He did not want to look weak either, so he stayed quiet thinking about how to react. He then said, "okay, they can go but tell the mother that I would punish her".

The old nanny was scared but decided to keep quiet so that he does not do more harm to them. With that, she bowed her head and said "okay sir, thank you".

The old nanny led the little boy to the room the mother was. On getting there, she saw the young woman lying on the floor. She felt pity for both of them.

Immediately she told the men to water, she sprinkled it on her face and slowly the woman woke up. She sent the men to bring milk and a glass.

When they brought it, she gave it to the woman. The young woman refused to drink it, in fear that it might be poison.

She refused it again and the old nanny did not force her again. The mother and son hugged each other very happily.

When they left, he kept on thinking about the small boy. How could that woman give birth to a child that age, he wondered. After awhile, he stood up to check the cameras and saw both mother and son leave his compound.

He couldn't stop thinking about them.
