Chapter 9

Thinking this way, sadness gradually spread from the heart.

I couldn't help but shed a tear.

For so long I've been scared, I don't know what I'll face in the future.

I'm just an ordinary person, and I can't even do the most basic thing to call the police in the face of such atrocities.

Without knowing what I felt, I cried myself to sleep.

When I woke up again, it was dark outside.

On the doorstep stood dinner from the nurse, white porridge as usual.

I didn't have the heart to eat and chose to ignore it.

After sleeping so long in the afternoon, I couldn't sleep any more now if I wanted to.

There were no clocks in the ward, so I wondered what time it was.

The hospital was silent, not a nurse in sight.

The only source of light in the ward was a small window near the ceiling.

The small windows are welded with wire and are very strong.

But I couldn't care less at this point, stepping over the railing of the bed to put my face close to the window.

I took a sharp breath, my heart growing more and more sour.

The freedom that was most desired before is now out of reach.

Just as I was getting sad, there was a sudden movement outside, as if a car had driven in.

I struggled to hold my head high enough to look out and realized that two people whose faces I couldn't see were carrying a very large unidentified object.

Before they could take a few steps, one of them suddenly fell.

What they were holding also fell to the ground, and the covering on it fell off with it.

In that moment, I froze.

That's a person.

The man who was disemboweled!

I could even see his entire chest cavity was bright red, but empty.

I fell back into bed in shock.

It's the fat man we saw today. He's dead!

My mind kept replaying the scene of seeing the man's face.

Those dead eyes seemed to have just met mine.

I shuddered in fear.

How can it be that people die in just one afternoon ......

At that moment there were voices speaking from outside.

"Grass! What are you doing?!"

"It's raining and slippery, I wasn't paying attention."

"I should have known that I should have starved this pig for a few days in the first place, it's such a pain in the ass to have such a fat one with only one heart in its entire body that works!"

"No? This idiot tried to move around on the operating table, and six or seven of us almost couldn't hold him down!"

"It's a good thing the heart was matched by the owner out there, who took seven hundred thousand dollars!"

"Yeah, well, there's a lot of money to be made after this one."

"Going for a couple bets then?"

"Yeah!"

I covered my mouth in disbelief.

I was just guessing before.

But I didn't realize that this mental hospital was actually secretly trafficking in human organs!

No wonder ...... no wonder Paul they don't give a damn about human life.

Turns out the whole hospital is their slaughterhouse!
