Opening my eyes again, I was lying in a strange room.
The walls around them were stained with brown filth, combined with the shackles nailed to the walls.
It's not hard to see what's happened here before.
I sat up and realized that my clothes had been changed into a hospital gown with the words "Newton Psychiatric Hospital" embroidered on it.
I grabbed the corner of my shirt in a death grip, my brain still unable to accept this reality.
Am I really being held captive in a mental institution?
My whole body shook with fear at the thought of what happens to normal people when they are locked up in a mental institution.
I hugged myself into a ball and broke down crying.
The ward door was suddenly opened at that moment.
The doctor I had seen earlier on the street was standing in the doorway smiling at me.
"Welcome to Newton Psychiatric Hospital."
"I'm your primary care physician, Paul."
I sternly pressed, "What the hell are you guys doing bringing me in here? You're breaking the law!"
Paul raised an eyebrow and snickered, "Breaking the law? Looks like I'm going to have to teach you what your first step is going to be when you enter the hospital ......"
He approached slowly, and I stepped back warily, trying to keep as much distance as I could from him.
Paul also pinched my face as my back hit the head of the bed.
His sight was like a poisonous snake, biting me to death.
"Here, my word is law."
Before the words left my mouth, I was suddenly yanked off the bed by him.
My head hit the edge of the bed hard enough that the pain blurred before my eyes for a moment.
A short while later, I felt my wrist hit a touch of cold.
Paul cuffed the shackles on the wall to my wrists and I was now hanging by my entire body with a ripping pain in my arms.
With my hands confined, I gulped uneasily.
"What are you going to do? To, to kill me?"
The next second, the sound of a crisp slap rang through the ward.
My entire face was deflected to one side and a clear slap mark emerged on my face.
Immediately after that, the second and third ......
Countless slaps landed on my face.
I was so beaten that I couldn't even say a word to beg for mercy.
I don't know how long it took, but all I could feel was a burning pain in my face.
Paul finally stopped.
He pinched my face and forced me to look at him.
"That's the first lesson for you, I'm all yours, you're one of my dogs, and if you upset me, I'll slaughter you."
