Chapter Six

Astrid Pov

I quickly push his chest, hurriedly stepping back to create some distance between us.

" Fuck you Nathan. " I yelled with tears in my eyes. Why was he behaving like this all a sudden, after pushing away and hurting me, now he comes back claiming me as his again.

For 7years, I suffered heartbreak, from him pushing me away to losing my child and then being caged like some animal.

It was just to much, but here he is acting like not ever happened.

" As I said before Astrid, we are starting over again and nothing is going to stop us from getting back together again. " He pressed on harshly.

" Not even your good for nothing ex. " He yelled.

" What about Elena then? " I whispered, finally asking the question that had been bugging my mind since the first time I set my eyes on him.

" She is nothing to me, I just needed her body to bed her. " He snapped making my eyes go wide.

I looked at him with hatred, feeling hurt all over again. He groaned probably just figuring out what he had just said.

" Well that's good for you, you can let go of me now. " I said staring directly at his chest to cover up my emotions.

" No. " He snapped. " Am not about to let you go back in there so you could finish your staring competition with that baboon you call a ex. "

" But you invited me here yourself in the first place, so why are you making a fuss about this like I planned this with him. " I yelled frustrated.

" To check something obviously and for your own good I just hope what my mind is screaming in between the four corners of my brain isn't right. " He added with a dangerously low voice.

" I thought you said you didn't know he was going to be here, besides he is still my husband might I remind you in case you have forgotten. " I poked his chest in annoyance.

" Are you sure about that? " He asked pulling me close to him.

I groaned pulling myself away from him " stop it Nathan. "

" I won't, beside am not letting you get back in there with that baboon. " He snapped again making my eyes widen at his mood swings.

He pulled out his phone from his pants, dialing a number and placing the device against his ear.

" Bring the car to the back door. " He order ending the call, then grabbing my waist, throwing me over his shoulder like I weigh nothing.

" What are you doing Nathan, let me go. " I yelled hitting his back furiously.

" Oh my gosh, Nathan stop people are still outside. " I pleaded as I saw him unlocking the door.

He walked through the back door, making his way towards the black Audi in the parking lot at the back of the hostel.

He opened the back door, shoving me inside, I sat up to see him seated beside me and the car immediately started moving.

I groaned looking at him like he had grown two heads.

" What's your problem Nathan, it's not my fault that we met Bryan there anyway. " I yelled at him.

He looked at me clenching his jaws, pulling me into his laps. " Don't fucking say his name in front of me again. " He snapped. "

" Did he ever touch you, cause I swear if he did I promise to cut off his fingers one after the other. " He swore in a dark voice, making shiver run down my spine.

I got into the house angry, while Nathan followed behind me. I stop on my track angrily turning to glare at him, while he shruggs his shoulders, his hands tugged into his pant pockets.

" You are so unbelievable Nathan. " I hissed at him. " You really are something else you know. I mean so you could go around bedding anyone you want but I can't. " I hissed looking at him.

" Yes. " He stated nonchalantly shrugging his shoulders again.

I sighed, fighting to walk towards he annoying man in front of and gun him down, or better still give him the punch of his life.

" Mommy!! " Kelvin cried running down the stairs with Nancy following behind him, making my eyes go wide as I rushed towards him.

" Baby what's wrong? " I asked, pulling him into a hug. " Are you hurt anywhere? " I pushed him back slightly to examine his body.

" Did something happen to him. " I decided to ask Nancy as he kept sobbing not answering me.

" Nothing much mam, it's just a bit scratch from a while go, while he was playing with his toys, running around the room he stepped on one. " She explained.

" Mummy why did you stay long? " He finally asked, saying something, rubbing his face against my shoulders.

" Sorry baby I met daddy and things kind of got heated. " I whispered into his ear, deciding to tell him thee truth.

" You were with Daddy? " He yelled, making Nathan stop on his track, turning to look at both of us.

" He is not your daddy. " Nathan snapped, his eyes harden.

Kelvin had always know that Bryan wasn't his real father, but the two still bonded well.

I uncomfortably shifted on my spot, before turning my attention to Nancy, smiling at her a bit.

" You can go now Nancy, am sorry for the stress. " She nodded her head and made her way out of the house.

I took off my heels and sighed, taking Kelvin hand and walking upstairs.

" Stop right there. Let's have a quick talk in the kitchen shall we. " He said making his way to the kitchen passing us.

I sighed for the nth time, leafing Kelvin intro the kitchen were Nathan was seated on the stool behind the counter. I picked up Kelvin sitting him on a stool, before taking my seat beside him.

Kelvin puts his hand on the counter leaning against it just like Nathan, making him look as serious as Nathan.

Did was one of the reasons I found it hard to get over Nathaniel, the resemblance between the two of them was much.

" Okay what is it? " I asked pushing my thought to the back of my head, crossing my arms against my chest.

" Out " he commanded the maid's looking at them, then turning his attention back to us.

He looked at me sharply, clearing his throat looking at me hard.

" Don't you think it's high time we told him? " He said raising one of his brows.

" No I don't think so, I don't want to rush things, he still needs some time to adjust to all this. " I whispered yelled to him, trying to shut Kelvin out of the conversation, knowing how smart he could catch up.

" No " he glared at me.

I took a deep breathe, closing my eyes before opening them right back on, glaring at him

" Fine! Besides he deserves to know, that way could bond quicker and he gets to know how much of an asshole you are " I stated clenching my teeth and glaring at him.

He rolled his eyes at me, with a teasing smirk at the side of his lips.

" Oh no. Mummy you said the bad word. " Kelvin chuckle covering his mouth, pointing an funny accusing finger at me.

" Sorry sweetheart. " I said smiling, while he smile back at me, his cute dimple showing at either said of his cheeks.

" We need to tell you something sweetheart. " I said pulling him to my lap.

" What? Are we going back home? " He asked playing with some of the strands of my hair that fell off my bun.

My heart clenched, I looked back at Nathan to see him looking at me with a serious look on his face.

Nathan I had discussed a while back after slapped, he mentioned staying here, leaving now room for argument after.

" No sweetheart not yet. " I said swallowing the lump in my throat.

" It's actually about Daddy. " I said looking at him.

" He is my daddy right? " He asked pointing at Nathan, making me gasped looking at him with wide eyes, my mouth openings ND closing, as I was lost of words.

What is happening right now? I looked at Nathan to see him have the same confused expression as me.

" Uncle Bryan already told me mom. He said my real daddy was an evil scary ma, who beats mom and lock her up. " Kelvin said while Nathan stood still, shaking in anger, he slam his fist against the counter in annoyance.
