Chapter 3. Another Eye

"What do you want, sir?"

"It turns out our client wants to meet right now," said Mr. Bobby to Ardhan frantically. "This is the file you have to study."

Ardhan took a step back, he didn't expect to have to carry out his task so quickly. In fact, he didn't even know what to say about their company collaboration.

"Study as quickly as possible," added the man as he handed over a stack of files. Ardhan was silent as he stared at the files. His brain was looking for a way to study that many files in such a short time.

"What are you waiting for, Ardhan? Quickly leave in the office car. You study the file in the car."

"Okay sir."

Ardhan rushed to the elevator, his strong hands pressing the buttons impatiently. As soon as the door opened, his long legs immediately came inside. In a matter of seconds, he had arrived at his company lobby. It turned out that the office driver was waiting for them, so they went to their destination.

During the journey, Ardhan focused on the paper in his hand. There are many things he must remember and convey in front of the clients later. The man hopes that he can carry out his duties well.

After an hour's journey, Ardhan finally arrived at the place agreed upon by their client. Ardhan was still wearing his glasses because he wanted to know what color the eyeballs of the person he was going to meet were. As time went on, Ardhan had already been waiting for the client for half an hour to arrive. Feelings of anxiety, nervousness, and confusion are mixed into one.

“Am I in the wrong place, or has the meeting been cancelled? But I didn't get the notification," said the man, looking at his cellphone screen repeatedly. Ardhan, who was confused, then took the initiative to ask his superior.

As soon as he pressed Mr. Bobby's telephone number, not long after, a middle-aged man's voice answered. "Afternoon, sir. Has our client changed the meeting place, or is there any information if the meeting is cancelled?"

“[What do you mean, Dhan? There is no official notification about those two things.]”

"Look, sir, I've been waiting for almost 45 minutes, but our client hasn't come," he complained to his superior.

Mr. Bobby was, of course, surprised to learn about this because the client they met was an important person and really guarded his reputation. How could he now do something like that?

“[Are you sure you went to the right place, Dhan? You didn't go to the wrong restaurant, right?]”

"That's right, sir, I'm already at the restaurant we agreed on," answered Ardhan. The boss told the man to wait another five minutes, if the client didn't come, he could go back to the office.

While waiting for time to return to the office, Ardhan looked back at the proposals and presentations that had been prepared by his company staff. The man did not realize that there was a man walking quickly towards him.

"Mr. Ardhan, right?" asked the person. Ardhan suddenly raised his head. "Sorry, sir, I'm late because I suddenly had office matters that I couldn't leave behind. Sorry for making you wait so long."

"So this is the person," thought Ardhan. They all then stood up to welcome this important person.

"Ah, no problem, sir," he said, extending his hand.

While shaking Ardhan's hand, the man said, "It seems like we've met before, but where?"

"Oh, I see, but sorry, sir, it feels like we just met today," said Ardhan. He had never met the man before.

"Maybe I've met someone who looks like you, or just forget about that," said the man with a smile.

"Let me introduce myself, my name is Prama Danureja," he said with a smile.

Ardhan responded by introducing his name and position in the office, after which they sat down again. The tall man presented his company. "How about it, sir? Are our companies working together?"

"Of course, Mr. Ardhan, the future prospects are very promising," said Prama firmly. The meeting ended with a cooperation agreement between the Ardhan company and the Prama company.

Ardhan immediately returned to the office to report the good news. When he arrived at the office, he rushed to meet his boss, who had been waiting for him all this time. "How about it, Dhan? We managed to get cooperation with that bona fide company?"

"Of course, sir, they like our work program and agree to work together," answered Ardhan with a bright smile.

Immediately, the thick lips of the man in front of Ardhan also parted. Finally, his company was able to collaborate with the biggest and most well-known company in the entire country. "Good job, Ardhan, we will discuss your bonus and promotion after this collaboration is underway."

"Thank you sir. "Excuse me, I'll go back to my room," said Ardhan after handing over the important files on Mr. Bobby's desk.

The door to his superior's room was closed, Ardhan then stepped into his room. What he had just done had clearly become a topic of conversation among his co-workers. Some looked at him cynically, and some were happy with his achievements. There are also those who put on two faces.

"Congratulations, Dhan, I'm glad you were able to complete this difficult task well," said one of the office staff members while extending his hand. Ardhan did not immediately respond to the outstretched hand, he focused on the eyeballs of the person he was talking to.

If Ardhan didn't wear those glasses, he certainly wouldn't know that not everyone was nice to him. For example, like the woman in front of her, she smiled cheerfully and said good things, but in fact, her eyes were dark red.

“Dhan? What's wrong with you?"

“Oh no, thank you, Sis. "Finally, the hard task is finished," replied Ardhan. He then continued his steps towards his office. The man remembered Prama, this was the first time he had met someone like that.

Since the first time he saw Prama, Ardhan felt that there was something different about that person. The color of his aura and his eyes are different from people in general. The bourgeois-looking man has orange eyes.

“Why are the eyeballs different? What does the color orange mean?" Ardhan muttered. Currently, in Ardhan's mind, there is only this question, Ardhan doesn't know who to ask. He searched the internet, and there was no answer. "What should I do with someone like Mr. Prama?"

It was clear that Ardhan felt curious and confused because, during the collaboration between the two companies, Ardhan would often meet Prama. He didn't want to be the target of this person's fraud again.

After thinking hard, Ardhan intends to look for the mysterious grandfather who gave him the glasses. He also packed up his things quickly. "I'll look for Grandpa wherever he is. I have to ask him for an explanation.”

"Who's the grandfather, Dhan?"

Ardhan turned towards the source of the sound, and it turned out that his friend, who was now the person he hated most, was in the doorway.

"You use a shaman, right?"
