Chapter 3

Andrew's Pov.

I took in the presence of the noodles as soon as I heard Brittany say "help your self to it" her gaze still on the said noodles.

Since I had granola bar for breakfast, the rumbling in my stomach made me say "definitely mama Mia" I watched as she took quick strides to her bedroom.

I sat down to devour the noodles to lazy to switch on the kitchen light or microwave the noodles, my thoughts wandering to how supers drunk I was the last time we went to the bar, which lead to me hooking up with a blonde girl whose name I can't remember still.

I stopped chuckling at my thoughts as soon as I heard sounds of footstep, pretty sure it was Brittany and I that were the only one awake.

"Isn't it too late in the night to start creeping up on me, I thought you had gone to bed and called it a night Brittany" I said with my mouth filled with noodles as I looked I've the shadow that stood in front of the kitchen door with amused look.

As soon as the shadow switched on the light my face turned emotionless on seeing that it was Beauty all along. "Wow look what the cat dragged in"" I say noticing as she flinched at the tone of my voice.

"I didn't think anyone will be awake by this time, I'll just grab a glass of water and be out of hair" she replied while opening the fridge.

"Oh really" I said neglecting my food, and changing my focus to her, matching her strides as she tried to move backwards to create space between us but stopped as soon as she realised that she was trapped between the wall and I.

"Ouch" she screamed in pain thinking it was only just a plan for me to look away from her I laughed at her antics, until I saw blood seeping from her leg she had stepped on the opened metal close to the door giving her leg a deep mark with the shape of Nike brand.

"Stay still, goddamit are you blind" I muttered angrily , my eyes never leaving beauty's as I picked up the mini first aid kit in the kitchen.

Feeling uncomfortable she said"I can do it myself", smirking at her I replied"don't be shy it's not as if we've not been through this before, even though we were still little" keeping quiet she looked outside the window as I started treating her leg.

"All done" I said while blowing air on the wound for sensational relief, "thanks drew knight" beauty as she gives me a thankful smile while trying to place her feet down from my lap, then bites her lips as she realises that she just addressed me with the nickname had for me when we first met and were friends.

" can you forgive me, I'll love for us to be friends again" she said truthfully giving me her unresistable puppy eyes, running my hands through her blonde hair with a blown smile, "you can always call me free, I'm tired of fighting"i said hoping not to change my mind when Im hungover the next morning.

Helping her up to her room, to break the weird tension," I'll forever remember your identity scar on your leg, my nike" she chuckled as I lay her down on her bed.

"Goodnight drew knight" she said as I left her room to her sisters forgetting all about my opened meal downstairs.

What a day, I thought as I hit the couch in Brittany's room.

Beauty's Pov.

Walking to my room after leaving the Singapore noodles on the dining table, the burger I had can still sustain me for the night, I thought out loud

I stayed in my room, staring at the walls, stupefied and bored like any other night, I grabbed my phone and texted Nicky, quick to grab my phone as soon as I saw that he replied

My Sunshine: Dinner with mom and her business partner got me feeling sleepy.

Me: sorry baby

My Sunshine: if only it was a dinner with you

Me: I know right, I miss out night out

Waiting for his reply, I decided to get water from the kitchen to me hydrated, satisfied that I'll be the only one awake at this time due to the sound of the closing of Brittany's door I heard earlier.

Humming to the kitchen, I stopped as soon as I saw the Andrew in the kitchen with the light off, trying to leave before he noticed but I realised it was too late when he spoke and mentioned my sister's name, I switched on the light so he could realise that he mistook me for my sister Brittany.

"All done" he said while his lips hovering over my cut while he blew air on it to give a sensational relief, "thanks drew knight" I said giving him a thankful smile while trying to place my feet down from his lap, realising that I just addressed addressed him with the nickname I gave him me when we first met and were friends I bit my lips for my stupidity but still continued with my speech
