Chapter 12.

Andrew's Pov.

"You have everything right?" My mom asked like I was travelling for a school event to which I rolled my eyes saying "yes mom I do, you seriously need to chill a little mom".

"If I don't do or ask who would take care of you" she asked raising a brow.

"I'm not a child mom, I'm a man" I say. " Really ? a man that still forgets where he keeps all his things, a man indeed" she said folding her arms waiting for me to disagree.

I opened my mouth to do just that but stopped when finally realising that she was right. "That's what I thought my boy" she said patting my shoulder.

"Can I just go" I grabbed my briefcase with my smartphone and made my way to the door, I heard her mumbling behind me but paid no mind to the words she muttered cause I don't want to be late.

I entered my car as the driver started the car going in the direction of the company.

20 minutes later.

"Hello, how may I be of help to you today sir" a red-haired at the front desk asked upon seeing me.

" Yes, please direct me to the office of the CEO, tell him Mr Andrew Rave his son is here to see him" she nodded enthusiastically.

"Oh yes Mr Andrew, Ive been informed of your coming . Sir please take the private elevator to the seventh floor, where you dad Mr Rave will be" she said batting her eyes at me.

Ignoring her gestures I nodded my head as a form of appreciation and walked over to the elevator, entering and punching in the number of the floor I was headed for as soft music played as I stayed silent.

Some seconds later the elevator dinged showing that I had gotten to the desired floor.

Walking out I immediately saw my father standing there with his hands in his pockets talking to someone Ive never seen but guessed to be one of the shareholders in the company attending the board meeting today concerning a new product.

A smile came across his face as he saw me, introducing me to the man in front of him "Mr William meet my son the new CEO of this enterprise, son meet Mr William one of the share holders of this company" he said.

I smiled saying "it's nice to meet you, how's your family doing".

"The Rave men surely do grow to be fine men, my family is doing great" Mr William replied.

"Well let's head over to your new office, styled by the best. Shall we Andrew" my dad asked to which I nodded following him to my office as he lead the way while Mr William headed to the meeting room.

"To your taste right, please have your seat we don't have much time due to the fact that the board meeting will be starting soon" he said sitting on one of the sofa's in front of my desk as I looked at him.

"I would be showing you how to handle being a CEO for a couple of days after which I'll leave you to yourself" I nodded as he gout up and walked out.

Sitting on my chair I got to work, just half an hour later he called me to his office.

"Yes dad" I asked walking in.

"We have to get to the board meeting with another company and the share holders now so we can check if we will want to work with them on their new product" I nodded as we left his office to the meeting room.

Sitting as everyone filled in while the other company started with their presentation.

A few more minutes into the meeting that I really was not paying attention to, I was shocked when my Dad spoke and I heard my name, ,"Andrew, what do you think".

Uh. Oh

"About what" I ask hoping he will tell me again.

"What do you think about the plan for the production of our new product, should we go for it" he asked once more pointing to the presentation still displayed with a raised brows.

"Well if we make use of the right resources for the manufacturing of these products,it looks like a great product, I think we should go along with their plan" I tell him my opinion after thoroughly going over what was being displayed in the board room.

"Okay, does anyone agree with what our new CEO" my dad asked as I look up to see more than half of the shareholders raise their hands, leaving me in shock. I actually made the right decision and spoke the mind of the shareholders.

"Okay then we have ourselves a deal, let's call our manufacturing company in charge of the manufacturing of our projects, you are dismissed" he said.

"Son I will like to see you in my office" he tells me, walking directly into his office.

I sigh wondering what I did now, I made the right decision didn't I?

Walking into his office, I turned to face him . "Have a seat Andrew" he gestured.

"Yes dad" I said

"Well for starters, by tomorrow I will fully resign my post as the CEO, to leave you in charge and I know you will take the right decision like you did today. A notice for a secretary which I know you will be needing will be sent out by the HR department, that will be all my son" he says.

"Okay dad" I say.

An hour later.

Her curves, her beautiful skin, her brown eyes all these things I couldn't get out of my head while I looked at her as she walked into my office to congratulate me on my resumption.

Why did she have to be so damn beautiful? Snap out of it man! She's your best friend.

I looked down moving my gaze from her hair to her face , her beautiful caramel skin tone showing easily against my white skin.

She was everything I could ask for, Ive never been a guy to fall in love easily but I think I did with her.

O groaned annoyed with myself, I have to stop these thoughts but I couldn't.

Her warm breath hits my neck causing me to have goosebumps when we hugged, why did she have so much effect on me? Was it because I'm actually in love with her.

"Hey how are you" she mumbled against my chest, "fine thanks for always being there for me always Brittany" I pulled back and our eyes connected.

I wanted to kiss her so badly, so I kissed her lips, she gasped pushing me aways staring at each other and I said "I'm sorry" to which she replied saying "it's okay".

"Why did I kiss her" I cursed at myself as I turned to move to my desk and continue with my work but she pulled me back kissing me hungrily to which I responded quickly, leading to us making out in my office.
