Blake's POV

There I was, sitting, having a drink with my eyes directed towards the window, and feeling the sweetness of the wind blow through and falling upon my skin. It was safe to say that I was free of thoughts, free of anything that would cause me any forms of worries or stress.

But as I stood, I could hear as the door was opened forcefully, and my eyes were opened to the sight of Diana stepping into the room with a momentum that I couldn't explain but seemed like one that could pull down a mountain.

I jerked off with the fear of something that aimed after my existence, but on sighting her and the frown which she wore on her face, I found it a bit cute and feisty at the same time.

"Oh dear..." I gasped the words with my hands placed on my chest before a smile creeped on my face.

"You scared me." I said to her in all honesty. With the peace of mind, which I enjoyed and basked in, I was more than ready to tear down any force that would want to deprive me of what gave me such comfort. But not with her.

I halted for a while and watched as she stood akimbo with her hands folded on her chest. I thought of it as cute—perhaps one who has missed my presence and craved for more of me.

"Why the hard face, darling?" I asked her as I walked towards her, my hands stretched towards her with the intentions of wrapping her in my hands, but I felt her hand hard on my chest, pushing me fiercely almost to the ground.

"What was that for?" I asked with my eyes widened, staring at her in shock at what she did.

"Why?" She asked me. What an ambiguous question she asked. I never understood what direction she asked from and never knew what she had in mind or what I had done to her that could prompt such a question from her.

"What?" I asked her again.

"You're seeing other girls!" She said to me.

"What?" I asked her. Again, I was confused. I looked at her with my eyebrows raised, struck by the audacity and the blame she started pouring over me.

"Don't deny it, punk," she pointed her fingers towards me with so much boldness in her tone, and her face clenched with bold eyes that almost caused me to wet my pants.

"I don't understand what you're talking about!" I said. I denied every word that she used against me.

Before my very eyes, I watched as she rushed towards me with so much fury in her eyes, grabbing me by the shirt with a strength I never believed she would possess.

I struggled with her, trying to convince her that what she thought of me was never true.

But why would I be so surprised? This was never the first time we have had this form of disagreement between ourselves, and it was always birthed from the fact that she never trusted me or believed any words that preceded my mouth.

Besides, the relationship between the both of us was never really defined. Thus, I was liberated to have my eyes fixed on others who would cherish me just the way I envisioned. To her, I was just something to satisfy her cravings and her feelings, while I sought love beyond the cravings of our physical bodies.

"I can't have this conversation!" I pushed her hands off. I tried my best to be humble and well-behaved in handling the opposite sex, but she had put my patience to trial, and it was definitely found wanting.

"Don't walk away from me.!" She said to me as I walked towards the door.

I halted, and I looked back at her with so much fury in my being. I watched her from the top of her head to her feet, and I challenged whatever strength she thought she possessed and said to her, "I dare you to stop me."

I walked out of the room. I slammed the door behind me and heaved a heavy sigh, inhaling and running my hands through my hair down to my face as I thought of what next I was meant to do.

Perhaps if my peace and comfort were disrupted by Diana's sudden behavior, I needed another and a safer place to cool my head. That was when the ideal popped in my head to seek solitude in the nearest bar.

I walked down the road with my hands dipped in my pockets, trying to wipe off the memories of what had happened back in the room.

I walked into the nearest bar and sat down on the stool, which was placed at the opposite of the counter.

"One shot please," I asked the man at the counter. I watched as he turned around to get my order, and my eyes ran through the entire room, staring through the people who were present in the room.

That was the moment I meant her, the moment I met Sofia. She was seated far away, innocently sipping from the glass of wine which she held in her hand.

I looked at her, admired her, and thought that she interested me more than the alcohol that I had ordered.

"Hello there!" I walked up to her and called out to her. She was lost in thoughts, but she looked at me, and then she wore a smile on her face that captivated my entire being.

"Hi..." She waved at me

I was struck by the sweetness of her tone and the gestures she made that caused my heart to skip a beat.

"Can I sit with you?" I asked her, and without any hesitation, she shifted from where she was seated, creating a space for me to join with her.

I sat with her and had my eyes fixed on hers, basking in the beauty of her innocence that lay underneath her eyes, willing to let fate take us through the night.
