Moreen's POV

I smiled as I walked into the mansion.

Next to me was Manang Fe who picked us up outside.

The mother and daughter are behind us arguing because of me.

Aunt Oli scolds him not to hit me anymore.

"Let's go to the Library hija." I just nodded to Manang Fe then followed him.

When the door opened, I was immediately greeted by the presence of the old Don.

With Tito Warren, Lola Romina and Atty. Vallega.

What can you talk about?

The couple shared a kiss and asked Tita Oli to sit down.

Manang Fe took care of me first before she went out.

"This is an important thing, that's why I called you all!" Don Sebastian started the topic.

"Does it mean the marriage can't go through?" There's a hint of joy on Weyn's face.

Atty looked at him. and asked.

"We have agreed that your marriage is illegal with the paper I approved."

Atty has some kind of paper. Vallega in front of us.

"Sign it."

I swallowed, with a trembling hand I reached for it.

I pursed my lips, I don't know but I looked for his eyes at that time.

He's looking at me with his knotted forehead.

I turned to Tita Oli who was now smiling.

I didn't sign it myself.

I heard him sigh.

He reluctantly reached for the paper and stared at it.

Atty held it again. Vallega took the paper and looked at us with a smile.

"From this day forward, I now pronounce you as Legally married!"

Shouldn't that be 'I now pronounce you, husband and wife'?...tsk kadiri!

Everyone shook hands at the end.

Atty left. Vallega so we were left quiet inside.

"Moreen grandpa, are you all right now?"

I nodded at Lola Romina's question.

"I'm going to school tomorrow."

"Are you sure you can do it?" I smiled at Aunt Oli's question.

"I'm okay now Aunt, thank you." She smiled back.

"The mansion is far from your school hija, do you want me to hire a driver to pick you up? Or Weyn."

I quickly shook my head at Tito Warren's suggestion just as the grass was about to complain.

"I have a condo unit near the school, I can stay there. I still have my allowance, and it won't run out. I'll just come home here during weekends."

There was concern on their faces when I said that.

"Yes you can, but you need someone to support you!"

Don Sebastian said, I just smiled at him and shook my head.

"I don't want someone hanging around from security or anything so ever, I can handle myself. I don't want to be a bother!"

"You're not busy hija" I was somehow relieved by what the Don said, he was no different from Lolo, strict but not suffocating.

I frowned when I noticed that he was smiling.

If he hadn't been called, the animal would have almost floated in joy.

"Take some of your important things and go with Moreen."

He stood up in shock.

"You heard it right. From now on, you will be living with your wife to take care of her while she's studying."

I looked up and closed my eyes as I felt the strong flow of water from the shower.

I clung to the wall and bowed slightly.

I remember what we talked about yesterday.

I don't blame anyone but the Grandparents.

If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be in this situation.

They make my life difficult.

Everyone is drooling because of them.

At the main door of the mansion, Tita and Tito were waiting as well as Don Sebastian and Grandma Romina.

I stopped in front of them and they smiled one by one.

"Take care of yourself okay?" Aunt Oli gave me a hug so my heart melted and any time I wanted to cry.

"Don't forget to call us here hija, mami we miss you!" Grandma Romina kiss my head.

"Thank you, I'll visit you here when I have the chance." I promised with a smile.

"Don't worry, I will assign someone who will look behind you. No one will dare to touch our girl." Even in a joking tone, Tito Warren said this seriously.

Everyone laughed so I laughed too.

I look at the driver.

"Don't worry, Don Sebastian is already signing a Driver for you."

I just nodded and looked out the window.

I scratch my eyes before looking outside.

I put on the bag and went out.

I hurried inside the building because of the heat.
