"B-Boss" I called him hoarsely.

"Hmmm?"

"Let's go" I said and turned away from him.

I quickly left the house and took my seat. I can't really breathe because of my heart's pounding.

What is he doing with it? Does he want me to fall for him even more?

I saw Boss come out of the house wearing his smug smile.

Our eyes met but I immediately looked away. I guess my cheeks are red.

He came near me and I felt like I melted. My knees weakened because of the way he looks at me.

"You're blushing" he said.

I hit him in the eye.

"Tskk! Dream on!" I said and I was interrupted by the teasing.

I will fill the bucket and he will carry it to the bathroom.

"You're beautiful as always, Thainah Ryl Harris"

Boom! I fell more.

I took a deep breath before entering Boss's office, I still can't move on from what happened last night.

Shame! I slide the door to open. I immediately saw Boss's face. My heart beat faster but I ignored it. I must show or make it seem that it is not there. I put the folders on his table. My throat itches especially because I can feel his eyes on me.

When I put down the folder, I fixed it. I looked at him. He's grinning like a crazy one. I tasted it.

''You have a contract signing at 10 am with Mr. Lim and meeting with the board at 11pm to 1pm'' I said firmly and professionally, his thoughts were really different.

He nodded.

''Cancel the meeting'' he said and I'm shocked.

Just now he canceled the meeting, even though he and Ma'am Kaye had a date, he really prioritized the meeting so I was really shocked.

''Zeph!'' we shouted at the same time.

Zeph is better, he's the boss.

I saw him grin, sh*t!

''Zeph then'' he said.

I didn't say anything and turned away. I quickly left his office. I held the part of my heart. I could feel my heart beating really fast. Very fast. I breathe a deep breath. I returned to my seat and did what Boss told me to do. I canceled the Board Meeting. We will only do contract signing now.

I finished my work right away. Boss and I are also here at a restaurant. Contract signing. I am with Boss and support them both with the contracts.

"Your Secretary is so very active and eligible, Mr. Allistair'' praise of Mr. Lim, I smiled at Mr. Lim

''Do you have a boyfriend, Ms. Secretary?'' he asked, making me stare.

I was startled when Boss landed on the contract.

He quickly pulled me so I immediately took our things. We are leaving the restaurant. I looked again at Mr. Lim, looks shocked.

Boss pulled me until we got into the car. He got into the Driver's Seat.

''What did you do Boss? If you sign that contract, Our company will be in eas—'' I was silenced when he hit the steering wheel. His jaw is tight and he seems to be calming himself down. What happened to him?

''Our Company doesn't need them. That f*cking man is not a lost! So please shut up!'' he said annoyed.

I kept quiet and didn't speak.

I heard him cursed and I don't know why he's angry. We were silent on the flight until we arrived at the Allistair Condominium. He also owns it.

''Get out'' he said, I quickly removed the seatbelt and arranged my things.

I was quiet until the exit. I don't know why we are here but I don't want to ask. His scream at me was still painful and fresh. I just followed him until entering his Condo.

In the two years I have been working, I have only been able to enter his Condo. I stopped admiring his Condo. He might scold me again.

''Sit down. I'll get you something to drink'' he ordered so I immediately sat down on the couch.

I nodded, still not looking at him. I went to the fridge and got some things to cook.

I cooked Adobo. I feel the presence of Boss behind me who looks like he's watching me cook. I was tempted to look at him but I stopped myself. I was busy cooking dishes. I won't increase it too much because he will be the only one to eat. I can put the extra in the fridge for him to heat up tonight. After I finished cooking, I prepared the table. I removed the apron I was wearing and fixed it where it was placed.

I looked at Boss. He just looked at me. It seems that something is bothering him.

"B-Boss, do you want dessert?" I asked.

Why does he have to look at me like that?

He shook his head.

''No. It's fine'' he answered while looking at the dish.

I tried to smile even though I really didn't want to smile.
