Chapter 3

SHAIRA'S POV

It's shaina!!

He was lying blindly on the floor, then there was a lot of medicine on his side, it looked like he had taken it.

Shaina! Twins!" Dion and I shouted at the same time and I was about to come closer but Dion was already ahead of me. He picked up Shaina and went straight out and I don't know why my chest suddenly tingled. But he ignored that and just followed them. Dion took Shaina in the backseat and immediately got into the car, I also got in quickly and Dion drove it.

We were immediately rated at the hospital and Dion got out and opened the backseat. He picked Shaina up again and quickly entered the hospital, I followed them and saw that the nurses were helping them to take Shaina to a room. A doctor also came in there but was not allowed to go inside, so I called my mom and told her to go to the hospital.

Dion and I were sitting in the waiting shed waiting for the doctor to come out and look at my twins.

"Shaira!!" I looked at the village scream and I was like when i see mom and dad. They approached Dion and us and immediately asked questions.

"Where is she?! What happened? Why did she rush here?" Mom asked one question after another.

"We just saw him at home blindfolded," I said.

"What's going on with our son Muskogee" Mom and Dad said like stress.

"It's like he drank something too..." mom and dad looked at me because of that.

"Some were scattered like medicine when we saw her..... I didn't read the letter but I'm sure it was medicine" I said and mom seemed to be more stressed.

"Oh jusko!! I didn't think he would do that!" He said while dad was silent while looking at Kay there.

The doctor suddenly came out to look at my twins and we quickly approached there.

"How are the twins?" I will ask.

"He's ok, even the child" he said making my forehead wrinkled.

"That's good" mommy said.

"But we found out that she took an abortion pill... does the patient have a problem?" The doctor said that made my mind even more confused.

"What are you talking about?" They all looked at me because of what I said.

"Continue doc" said mom calmly.

"Ok..... the patient is doing well and the baby in her womb is good and the child's grip is strong because if the patient can't be miscarried" the doctor said at length, mom and Dion were listening while I'm on the sidelines still confused by what's happening.

"That's all I have to tell you...... but the patient can't go home yet because the child still needs to be monitored in his stomach.... he can leave you, just ask the nurse where the patient's room is" he said doc and left.

FAST FORWARD

We are now in shaina's room. He is still sleeping. It's 8 pm now, so mom is already asleep and dad is out buying our food. Dion is here next to me and he is very quiet right now as if he is deep in thought.

I looked at the door when it opened. Dad entered there and quietly went to the table and put down the food he bought.

"Eat now" he said to Dion but his eyes were only focused on Dion.

"I'm still full, you're the one to eat," he said, I just nodded and started eating.

"Why aren't you going home...... You can leave" I stopped eating because of what dad said. I looked at him, he was looking at dad but also looked away.

"I'll be here first, I'll go home tomorrow" he said while looking in another direction. Dad just nodded and didn't say another word.

"Ahm...... dad can I ask you a question?" Dad turned to me and gave the sign to speak.

"Shaina is pregnant, right?....." I asked and dad nodded and looked at Kay.

"So you-when did you know this? Why didn't you tell me? Besides, who is the father?" I asked one question after another, but nothing seemed to change in dad's reaction.

"We found out when you had a fight. We didn't tell you because he said he would be the one to tell you and......" he looked at Kay before speaking again.

"We didn't know who's the father....... and I don't want to know who it is" dad said and Dion turned to him.

"Why?" I asked, dad turned to me and spoke.

"Because when I find out who he is I will keep your twins away from him as well as my future grandson" he said and looked at that again.

'Why are you looking around because he's not the father!!'

I just shook my head and ate again. After I sister, mom woke up and she ate and went home.

Some time passed and I fell asleep.

I woke up because my alarm clock was so loud! I turned it off and sat on my bed. I rubbed my eyes first and got up from my bed. I went straight to the cr and washed my face and brushed my teeth after I left the room and went downstairs.

When I come downstairs I see mom helping Shaina while she's eating. It's been two days since we rushed her to the hospital and I knew I was going to be an aunt!. That's when we found out that he took a lot of abortion pills but thankfully my nephew is strong.

I went to their mom's place and sat on the solo sofa in front of them.

"Oh your awake shaira how's your sleep?" Mom asked as soon as I sat down.

"It's ok mom...... I slept well" I replied to which mommy nodded and continued to help Shaina eat. I'll admit that I feel a little jealous and maybe that's because I'm not used to this kind of set up. For the two of us, like Shaina, mom takes care of me more because she says I'm hurt and artistic.

I snorted at the thought before taking a biscuit from the table in front of me.

"Good morning" I turned to the stairs because I heard dad's voice there.

"Good morning dad" I said while mom just smiled at dad and shaina just bowed. I noticed that since Shaina was rushed to the hospital, Milan seemed to be more distant from each other, that's why it's sad.

Dad sat down and took a male and drank it. It's quiet all around, the maids are not as noisy as before because maybe they feel the tension around them.

I was in the middle of munching on the biscuit when one of the assistants suddenly approached.

"Ma'am, Sir, where is Sir Dion?" he said, frowning at my forehead.

'We didn't talk about seeing you now'

'Maybe a surprise? Yeah that's right maybe he will surprise me!! He's so sweet!'

"Good morning aunty, uncle, hon....... shaina" he said and placed a tray of fruits on the table.

"I bought that cup at the market because I was passing by then I remember sha-shaina needs fruits" he explained nervously.

'Oh I thought it's for me? Why is he giving it to my sister?'

Because of what Dion said like an excited child, shaina took it and opened it to eat.

"Gosh!! Thank you for that!" Shaina said and dumped the food there.

"Ye-yeah your welcome enjoy eating" Dion said and looked at me. When he saw me looking at him he smiled awkwardly.

"Oh bide awey shaina, shaira let's hevae bonding!! Let's go in mall! You know bonding" Mom Mayan suddenly said so we turned to her.

"Shaira's only you" Shaina said softly causing dad to stop drinking coffee and look at Shaina.

"You will come with me" he said to Shaina.

" Shaina couldn't finish what she was going to say because dad interrupted.

"You will go with what you want or want and that's final" San's dad said in an authoritative tone so Shaina had no choice and just nodded.

"And also, leave your boyfriend here, Shaira, we're just going to talk about it" dad added, my brow furrowed but it didn't take long for me to nod.

After we had breakfast, mom and I went upstairs and went straight to her room and took a shower. After taking a shower, I get dressed. I wear a blue dress and I partner it in black heels. I took my sling bag then went out. Just as I was leaving, Shaina came out. You stared at us for a while before finally going down.

Mom is already there waiting for us.

"Oh your both here let's go!!" Mom said excitedly and pulled us out of there.

FAST FORWARD

we are here now in the mall we are buying clothes now. I'm in the dress section while mom is in accessories and then Shaina is in the t-shirt section looking for a big dress.

"Hey girls look I got a matching bracelet!!" Mom said excitedly and came to us. He showed the three bracelets and all of them had a heart design.

"I'm going to buy this!!" Mom said to the cashier and after she paid she put on the two of me and Shaina and the other one she wore.

"Woah it's really beautiful!! Don't take it off ok" mom said, shaina and I just nodded there.

After we finished shopping for clothes and accessories, we went to a nearby restaurant and ate there. After that, we went home happily, but unfortunately that disappeared when we caught up with dad inside.........

"Dion! daddy! Arnold!" They shouted mommy at the same time. I quickly attended to Dionprince who was now sitting on the floor while Mom held Dad and Shaina was looking at Dion and me.

"Why did you do that daddy?!" I asked dad with a mixture of annoyance and confusion but he just gave me a scary look before speaking.

"Get that man out of my house shaira.......or else that's not all that man will get" daddy said coldly and left us here.

"You should follow your dad shaira" mommy's voice also changed. Mom also left and followed dad. I looked at him wiping the side of his lip because it was bleeding!

"Are you ok bro?" I asked but he just nodded and stood up. I supported him and when we were done, I wiped his lips and let out a sigh.

"I'm sorry hon" I said softly.

"No! Its not your fault hon....... I-I should go now, maybe Uncle will get angrier" he replied to me and kissed my forehead.

"Bye non" he said and walked out of the house. But before he left completely, he stopped in front of Shaina then he left. I looked at Shaina but she was just looking at the big door where she came out of there but when she noticed me looking she bowed and left in front of me. He left directly in front of me and went upstairs. While I was left confused here.

'What's going on? Am I missing something here?!'

I just washed my face before going up to the room. This is probably the craziest day of my life.

When I got to the room, I immediately lay down and closed my eyes. I need to relax, our week has been so chaotic.

My emoting didn't last long because I immediately got sleepy and fell asleep.

EVENING

I woke up from a knock outside my room. I sat on the bed and just washed my face.

"What is that?" I said.

"Ma'am Shaira, sir sent you down........ he wants you to go with them. I looked at the clock for a long time.

It's already 8:32 pm.

"I'll follow" said the person who picked me up and I just heard him stomp on the floor. After the person left outside, I completely left the bed and went to the cr and peed there and washed myself.

When I'm done, I go out and go downstairs to eat. Minutes passed, it was quiet here, but the silence disappeared when dad spoke.

"Go to sleep after that especially you shaina. We have a visitor tomorrow and.... we will find out who the father of the child is tomorrow shaira" dad said and finished eating. I just speeded up the food and Shaina went up as well.

Before I could finally enter the room, Shaina said something but I didn't understand, so I ignored her and went into the room to sleep.

I woke up because I heard the sound of a car coming into our mansion. He didn't want to pay attention to that but suddenly what dad said while we were eating last night came to my mind.

'We have a visitor tomorrow and....... we will find out first who the father of the child is tomorrow shaira'

I woke up when I remembered that.

'Sh*t my nephew's father is here!'

I quickly left the bed and went straight to the Bathroom. I washed my face then brushed my teeth after that I went downstairs quickly so as not to be caught in their conversation.

I was smiling while I was going down the stairs but that smile disappeared when I saw who the person was at the bottom.

'what are they doing here'

I walked up to them and looked at them confused.

"What's happening? Why are you here aunty" I said while looking at them, they were also looking at me, except for the two people next to each other, Shaina and Dion. They both bowed as if they didn't want to look at me.

"Mom? Dad? What is it?" I try my best not to show that I'm nervous. There is a reason in my mind why they are here but I don't want to believe it. Maybe there is a good explanation for why they are here, right?

"Shaira........ son we have something to tell you" mom was obviously nervous too but she said it anyway.

"What is that?" I asked again but after a few seconds no one answered I looked around but they all didn't want to look at me.

"Mom what's going on? Dad? Hon? Sha-shaina?" I confusedly asked them. I saw Dion take a deep breath then he looked at me. There are so many emotions on his face but the most clear thing I can see is the regret?

'Why?'

"Hon....... answer me, what's going on?" I asked her, she first looked at mommy then she looked at aunty and lastly she looked at shaina.

"Hon please answer" I said calmly. He seems to be having second thoughts so I'm even more confused.

"Say it everything should come from you" dad said in a cold tone. Dion bowed again before standing up and approaching me. He held my hand and stared at me but it didn't last because he bent down.

"Hon.......hon, I'm not happy, what's going on? Why is your behavior so weird? I don't understand anything?" I'm losing patience that's why he said that. He looked at me again and suddenly there were tears in his eyes.

"Sha-shaira........ hon hic sorry! I'm so sorry!!" He said that he was crying, which only made my mind even more confused.

"There, why are you apologizing? I don't understand anything!! Make me understand" I said to him but I didn't get an answer because he just cried and cried. The same is true of Shaina, who is still bowed down to this day but is crying with her.

"Shaira hiccup sob........ shaira I'm bre-breaking up with you" it was like heaven and earth fell on me because of what he said.

"Wha-what? What are you saying, hon?! That's not funny" I try my best to look like I'm not hurt while saying that, telling myself he's just joking.

"Take that back from there...... isn't it just a joke? Are you kidding?" I said but he just shook his head and I looked at mommy, mom and aunt were crying while dad and uncle were serious.

"Stop it!! Mom, dad stop it's not funny anymore!!" I said tears welled up in my eyes.

"Please stop it!!" What I said was so loud that it made them cry even louder mommy.

"Shaira I'm really sorry....... but I have to do it" I looked at him when he said that.

"Then give me a valid reason for that" I said boldly as I saw Shaina look at us because of that.

"I-i will go t-to merry shaina" I was like I was stunned because of what he said. I just stared at him while trying to process everything he said in my mind.

"Take that back" I said suddenly and tears came to my eyes one after another.

"Di-dion Take that back!!" I screamed while crying but he just bowed and shook his head.

hiccup please stop your trip!! sob it's not funny anymore!" I cried and begged them but I got no answer.

Shaking my head, I let go of Dion's hand that was holding me and cried even more. I screamed and ran away from there.
