Chapter 7 : Naina , The Saviour

TIME : 04:35 P.M.

"Hey Avni", they heard a voice , halting them in their respective places, their eyes widened with fear , they looked at each other in horror...

" Avni?? Where is Avni bebe...?"asked a perplexed Shweta as she wasn't aware of Avni's presence there...

"Shweta, have you lost your eyes too, along with your brain? See there, Avni is standing right there in front of you….." Bebe taunted pointed at Saumya's direction as Avni was hiding behind Saumya all this while…..

" Bebe!! My eyes are perfectly fit and fine, You see, Avni isn't there , but Saumya….", Shweta answered back before turning to look at Saumya's direction….

Everyone' s gaze shifted at Saumya's direction, who started looking here and there, to avoid eye contact with both the ladies....

" Stop moving Saumya, Otherwise both I and Aaniya will get caught", Avni chided Saumya who was shifting on her place , due to fear and nervousness…..

" What? You...you both are hiding behind me?", Saumya asked in shock , gulping evidently in fear...

" Yes!! I'm behind you and Aanu is behind me, so could you please Stand straight ? ", Avni chided….

" Seriously! Will you both get me killed along you both? " Saumya asked in horror...

" Shut up!! And don't you dare to move, Otherwise if we get caught na then I swear I won't spare you too", Aaniya threatened....

"Hey, she was right here, where did she go now? Saumya, You move side a bit ", Bebe spoke moving towards Saumya.....

" What...but bebe...here...no one is here!!, " Saumya stuttered….

Saumya gestured to Naina trying to tell her about Avniya hiding behind her, asking her to do something and help her out while Naina was confused , unable to understand it, making Saumya to mentally facepalm herself , praying God to save her...

" Aa...Bebe I think aapko….aapko vahem hua h (You seem to have an Illusion) ….yes…..You ...you are deluded...." Finally Naina was able to grab Saumya's hints , making her sigh in relief...

" Va.....va...vahen....What is that" Aaniya scratched her head confusedly….

"Arghh!! Plzzz Shut up Aanu!! Here we are stuck and you ….." Avni shook her head in disbelief...

" Yes bebe I think Naina is right , you seem to have an illusion, wo kya h na , whether you agree or not but now you are getting aged, and in this age these illusions and all are common, right Naina? ", Shweta teased Bebe...

" Shweta! What did you say? Do I look old to you? Arey, millions still die for me, just look at your face in the mirror, I look more younger and prettier than you, and my eyes are as sharp as eagles, they can never be wrong, wait, I'll just show you", saying that Bebe started moving towards Saumya while Shweta just laughed it out…

Avniya, Saumya and Naina panicked seeing Bebe walking to them...

" Avni puttar , you are also pranking us na , together with these naughty kids, right? Saumya move!!", Saying that Bebe pushed Saumya aside…

But wherever Saumya moved Avniya too moved with her and our Poor Bebe was unable to catch them and when she had almost catched them, Naina screamed drawing her attention towards herself...

" Ahhh......ahhh mom....momm...help" Naina screamed loudly holding her stomach….

" Are Naina puttar what happened to you?" Shweta rushed to her….

" Ahhh, my head…. My head is aching a lot , Ahhh I... I feel dizzy....I'll die mom plzz do something..." Naina said like she would faint anytime…

" All that is fine, Puttar, but you said your head is aching , then why are you holding your stomach?", Shweta asked scratching her head while Naina immediately held her head...

"Aa..aa..mo...mom", she fainted, while Shweta panicked and screamed....

" Bebe!! Bebe!! Plz come here , plzz come fast plz Prakash ji, Neil, Nishant plzz come fast" Shweta called out for everyone as she was between Naina and Bebe , so Bebe didn't notice Naina being unconscious, she rushed to them...

" What happened Shweta? Q gala phad phad ke chilla rhi h (Why are you screaming your lungs out?) .... " Bebe mocked Shweta….

" Bebe see what has happened to Naina, she...she fainted all of a sudden , she told me that her head is aching and ...and she is feeling dizzy, please do something babe", Hearing Shweta Bebe immediately rushed to them while

Avni, Saumya and Aaniya got worried , they looked at each other and was about to rush towards Naina but Saumya noticed that Naina winked so they stopped...

Naina signalled them to leave, she was only pretending to be unconscious, they understood and rushed upstairs quickly while Saumya came towards Naina blocking everyone's view of the stairs....

Neil, Nishant and Prakash too reached there and they panicked , looking at unconscious Naina ...

" O God! What happened? Saumya hurry up!! call the Doctor fast...." Bebe ordered….

" Aa bebe I think bhabhi has fainted due to overwork, I'll just bring water, you sprinkle it a little on her face, maybe she might come to her senses" Saumya suggested trying to avoid calling the doctor while Bebe nodded....

Saumya went to fetch water and sprinkled it on Naina's face….....

" Uhh I...where am I?", Naina opened her eyes, keeping up her act…..

" O god plz Stop Overacting bhabhi!! Now plzz Dont ask that who are you people and all that, everyone will get suspicious", Saumya stealthily whispered in Naina's ears...

" Naina!! Are you ok? You...you are alright na?" Nishant said checking Naina from head to toe….

" Hey !! Relax!! I'm fine Nishant " Naina cupped his cheeks wiping his moist eyes…

"You scared me", Nishant said while hugging her tightly while everyone else was admiring them and Naina was guilty….

" I'll call the doctor..." Neil said, pulling out his phone...

" No Neil it's ok!! I don't need any doctor, I'm perfectly fine, you see, Just felt a little dizzy, " Naina said, trying to avoid the doctor , as she didn't wanted to get caught...

" But bhabhi..." Neil tried to argue...

" Plzz Neil..." Naina requested...

" But Puttar are you sure? You don't need a doctor I mean" Prakash asked his concern out…

"Haa beta I think we should consult the doctor once..." Shweta too tried to convince her...

" Offo!! You guys stop taking tension, nothing has happened to me!! I'm perfectly fine, see, and I'm very lucky that I got in laws like you all who loves me unconditionally...." Naina said seeing everyone's genuine concern for her….

Neil sat on his knees on the floor and held Naina's hand...

" We too are very lucky that we got you bhabhi, a perfect daughter in law, a perfect sister in law, a perfect wife and a perfect mother, We are blessed to have you in our life and we don't want to see you in any kind of pain so plzz take care of yourself too bhabhi, you are the life of this house the main power supply (he said jokingly, which made Naina to chuckle lightly ) plzz have your meals on proper timer, don't take too much stress and don't exhaust yourself by working all day long, just order me if you have any work hmm? Plzz take proper care of yourself, And yeah we should consult a doctor one time," Neil's words made Naina emotional as he never expresses his emotions, his care , or love for anyone but he did for her...

" I'm blessed to have such a sweet devar (brother in law) like you, you are like my own younger brother so of course I'll make you do all my work, you need not to say that and you all are here to take care of me na , so why should I take care of myself and I seriously don't need a doctor now plzz, I just want to take rest plzz..." Naina requested while Neil smiled and nodded...

"Nishant puttar , Take naina to the room," Bebe said while Nishant nodded and took Naina to their room…

Saumya too excused herself while Naina massaged in the siblings group after reaching her room...

"Meeting at Siblings Adda

in 15 mins....

Aaniya bring Avni too

with you.."

Everyone reached the "Adda" within 15 mins…

Aaniya brought Avni too with her, she told Avni about their awesome secret group on the way, making Avni excited, Saumya had already told them about Naina's fabulous acting so they knew What the meeting was about....

" So?" Aaniya asked upon reaching their….

" So?" Saumya raised her brows confusingly..m

" Offo dumbo! What's the meeting about....?" Aaniya asked , slapping Saumya's forehead...

" Let me tell you , the meeting is about you two!! Now Can you both plz explain, where were you both and why were you in those conditions? What actually happened?And how did Avni get hurt?," Naina shot all her questions at once while walking to them, making Avniya to look at each other ....

" Come on guys! Speak up!!" Nishant said sternly

" Bhaiya....wo actually...." And Aaniya told them everything which happened with them, making them shocked and angry too….

" Aanu!! You are ok na ? Nothing happened to you right?," Saumya hugged Aaniya, checking her from head to toe...

" Offo Saumu! I'm perfectly fine , nothing happened to me , I didn't even get a scratch, all thanks to Avu...." Aaniya said smiling at Avni while Saumya hugged Avni whispering numerous thank yous to her...

" How dare he? I will not leave him?," Nishant exclaimed angrily and turned to leave but Aaniya held his arm....

" Bhaiya stop plz don't do anything!! He will never come back I assure you that and if something happens like that I will definitely tell you, I promise…." Aaniya said , stopping Nishant....

" But Aanu.. " Nishant tried to reason her...

" Plzzz bhaiya..." Aaniya pleaded, Nishant sighed...

" Ok!! but this is the first and last time , if something like this happens again then I won't listen to you", Nishant said cupping her cheeks while she nodded , He hugged her while Avni was admiring their bond and got emotional thinking about Aman and her relationship….

How She wished that her and her brother had the same relationship but she also knew that it can never happen…

Naina too hugged Aaniya and both Nishant and Naina thanked Avni...

" But you should have told us before na that someone is troubling you..." Naina spoke caressing Aaniya's hair...

" I know bhabhi but I didn't want to trouble you all especially not now when everyone is so much happy And plzz now forget this matter and don't tell it to others plzzz" Aaniya requested...

" Our Aanu has matured now !! Ok, we will not tell anything to anyone, happy ? " Naina asked…

"Super happy" Aaniya replied and hugged her again …

" Thank you Avni, thank you so much, you saved the life of this house, I don't know how to thank you...I'm...I'm just…. " Nishant joined his hand….

" Bhaiya plzz don't do this, don't embarrass me plzz, it was my duty as Aanu is my friend too and I would have done the same if there was someone else in her place", Avni held his joined hands nodding negatively…

" You are very good Avu, really and that's why we all love you alot, you are like, no.. no..you are my sister Avu..." Naina said, hugging her while she smiled hugging her back...

" True that , we love you Avu!! Btw Aanu!! Why that Siddhant did all that to you?I mean exactly what happened between you both?I assumed him to be a nice guy yaar…," Saumya asked her curiosity...

" Yes Aanu, at least now you should tell us the entire matter..." Naina demanded….

" Wo actually...." Aaniya started….

"Flashback "

Siddhant was the most popular guy of the college. He was my senior. Every girl was flat over him. He was a casanova, a flirt. He used to like me but I didn't. His stupid friends challenged him to woo me, as I'm called the diva and the most arrogant girl of the college who doesn't give any damn to anyone except my friends, he tried to flirt with me many times but I gave him back What he deserved. Yes i admit that I insulted him many times, hurted his ego thus spoiled his image but still he was determined to impress me anyhow just to win that stupid challenge ….

Time passed like that and it was the time for the senior's farewell , I was happy that finally he was going from my life...

I reached the party venue, he came towards me holding a rose bouquet and sat on his knees in front of me.He proposed me in front of the whole college, I was shocked, anger took over me but I remained calm and denied him saying some sarcastic harsh words..

" Oh really!! You want me to be your gf, have you ever seen your face in the mirror? Even monkeys look better than you and how could you even think that me Aaniya Khanna will agree to be your gf huh, atleast you should have just checked ur level boss, you aren't my type bro and yeah don't try to cross my path again otherwise you don't know what will I do, you are better off with that stupid clingy gf, oops sorry gfs of yours, just STAY AWAY FROM ME, got it?," With that I turned to left that place but he held my hand and that raised my temper more....

I was furious so I slapped him in front of everyone in the party.....

Everyone started to laugh at him, his friends started taunting him, he felt his ego and image had been crushed badly for which he was trying to woo me, He felt humiliated he warned me but I ignored after that he was after me to take his revenge , he called me, massaged me every time and blackmailed me with my friend's life as he kidnapped her, he asked me he will leave her if I agree to meet him once, I agreed too but somehow my friend escaped from his clutches and filed a complaint against him, I didn't knew about that and before I get to know anything he kidnapped me too and After that you all know everything…."

"Flashback Ends"

" It's ok darling but next time if something happens like that you should tell us ok" Nishant said while side hugging her….

" And make sure that Neil will never get to know about this otherwise you know what will he do...." Naina said imagining his reaction with a horrified expression..

" And yeah plzz try to talk politely with everyone yaar, it's not always necessary to show your "I'm the Aaniya Khanna '' attitude..." Saumya ' s comment only made Aaniya roll her eyes...

" It's ok let's forget everything and not talk about this hereafter, the main thing which matters is both Avniya are safe hmmm? All thanks to Avni, Let's end this meeting here guys otherwise we will get late for sangeet and we have to make Our bride ready , right girls?..." Naina said giving teasing looks to Saumya , who blushed profusely...

" Oh yeah!!I have to get ready too, I need to look my best today after all I'm the bride's one and only sister and moreover that Alia will be there too..." Aaniya spoke in her same "The Aaniya Khanna" attitude...

" Uff Aanu!! tera kuch nahi ho sakta (nothing can be done to you)..." , Saumya shook her head in disbelief while Aaniya rolled her eyes again...

" Whatever!! Btw bhabhi, I didn't know that you act so well haa!! I mean you can be an actress, you were superb you should try acting in films, right guys?" Aaniya teased Naina

" Yeah Bhabhi, you were amazing , Everyone believed that you were in pain and fainted and even we felt the same ..." Saumya too praised Naina's acting skills...

" Seriously di, just bcoz of your fabulous acting, we got saved today thanks to you ,no actually ,thanks to your acting skills...." Avni joined the sisters...

" 1 sec....acting….pain …..faint .....guys can anyone tell me What's happening here?" Nishant scratched his head in confusion while everyone laughed and Naina suddenly felt nervous of his reaction as she saw how scared he was.....

" O God bhaiya seriously? You still believe that bhabhi was having pain and fainted that time? Bhabhi you should get an Oscar award now..." Aaniya said only to make Nishant more confused...

" What do you mean? Can anyone plzz explain clearly...." Nishant was irritated now….

" O God!! Let me tell you bhaiya your wife is a commendable actress, she must try acting , actually today she saved us by faking her unconsciousness ...." Saumya told everything to Nishant….

" What? All that was a drama? O God and I believed it till now , I was so worried about you Nainu and you...." Nishant was hurt...

" Sorry na jaan (beloved), it was necessary to help them and I couldn't think of any other way than doing that unconscious drama, please Maaf kar do na baby ( Forgive me na baby ) ...", Naina said holding her ears….

" Aww my baby, it's ok darling but don't repeat it again ok? , " Nishant engulfed her in his arms while Naina nodded smilingly...

Aaniya cleared her throat teasingly making them embarrassed……

"Awww my baby, Nainu , darling , Jaan ", Aaniya mimicked them making everyone except Naina and Nishant burst into laughter...

"Control bhaiya and bhabhi control, you both can continue your romance later in your room, but sorry to say but PDA is strictly prohibited here, Arey we are kids here , Why are you spoiling us , poor innocent kids? ", Aaniya teased making Naina to blush more profusely …

" Shut up Aanu!! " Nishant glared at her….

" What Shut up bhaiya? And bhabhi stop blushing you are resembling tomatoes now", Aaniya teased them more.….

"Btw Avu how can you fight so well? I mean you seem to be so naive like a fragile doll, who can't even harm a mosquito let alone a human being...." Aaniya questioned her concern...

" Uff !! What to do, to teach people like Siddhant a lesson, it was necessary to do something , so I joined the Self defence classes to learn to protect myself and others too bcoz ……." Avni stopped midway as she got lost , may be recalling something…..

"Bcoz it was necessary And now I'm a Karate black belt..." She completed her sentence with a small smile...

" Woohoo....interesting," they said in unison, impressed by her thinking ...

" Btw i want permission from all of you....." Aaniya beamed in excitement….

" What? You and permission?," everyone except Avni looked at Aaniya with wide open eyes as if she was an alien, they were startled with her question….

" Uff! Shut up guys! Don't overreact!! Ok i just want to ask if we can include Avni in our gang too.?.." Aaniya rolled her eyes before asking them something that they wasn't expecting from Aaniya, her question do made everyone shocked for a moment….

" No…," they all replied casually….

"What ? But why?", Aaniya whined….

" We mean not you " can" you must include Avni in our gang, infact Avni is already a part of this crazy gang right guys?" Naina asked looking at Nishant and Saumya....

" Of course, is this even a thing to ask?," Nishant and Saumya spoke in disbelief smiling brightly...

" But how can I...I mean this is all of urs group and I'm just an outsider. .." Avni pointed out her concern….

" Shut up Avu! Who said you are an outsider..." Aaniya scolded Avni lovingly making everyone amaze by her totally changed behaviour towards Avni , they were happy that finally Avniya became friends...

" You are a part of our family Avu, not any outsider, I told you na that you are my sis then.." Naina narrowed her eyes trying to be stern but failed....

" Yeah Avu you are our family and you can't deny that, you have to be a part of this gang too, I don't wanna listen to anything ok ?" Saumya declared folding her arms stubbornly….

" Plzz Avu..." Nishant requested too...

" Come on yaar we will have fun, ok I got it, you didn't forgive me yet na that's why you don't want to be this gang's part, right? It's ok then , no problem!!" Aaniya started in which she is best at , i.e., emotional atyachar , (emotional blackmailing)!!... ..

" No!! It's nothing like that, ok I agree to be this gang's part, happy now, my drama queen?.." Avni bowed down in front of Aaniya's best trick , her emotional atyachar…..

" Yay!! That's like my girl..." Aaniya jumped on Avni hugging her tightly….

" But tell me one thing , how will I attend meetings and all from Udaipur hmmm? I'll have to go back after the wedding then? Ok we'll manage through video calls but I won't be able to help you all in your plans na..." Avni kept forward another point, making everyone sad on realising that Avni had to go after the wedding...

" Why can't you stay a little longer Avu..." They asked her with a lil bit of hope...

" I can't!! Have lots of work in college and home too and I have taken a lot of leave, so I have to go" Avni said, feeling blessed that they love her so much, that they were sad over her going back to her home...

" Don't worry you cannot be able to execute our plan but you will be able to make them with us na and who knows after some days you will shift here permanently. .."Aaniya said with a mischievous glint in her eyes…..

" Hein?" everyone exclaimed in confusion….

" Uff !! Nothing you all will get to know about it later, now I'm going , have to get ready so..." Saying that Aaniya forwarded her hands and they did their type of crazy handshake…

Avni too joined them laughing, they group hugged before ending the meeting and heading to their respective rooms....

Everyone got ready for the function…

Avni too got ready wearing a simple yet beautiful black gown ....

After checking herself in the mirror, she went to Saumya's room....

" My god Avu!! You are looking gorgeous..." Naina exclaimed as soon as she stepped in the room...

" Thank you dii!! You too are looking stunning, but our bride, she isn't looking good today..." Avni frowned….

" What? Why what happened?O my god!! What will I do now, how will I go downstairs? Avu plzz do something, bhabhi..." Saumya shrieked in panic, making Avni and Naina laugh out loud....

" Relax Saumya!! You are looking very very very beautiful today, I was just pulling your leg..." Avni grinned at her sheepishly....

" Hawww! Avni ki bachchi!! Ruk mai abhi batati hoon " Saumya said while coming towards Avni , who immediately ran from there....

Just then Aaniya too reached there while Saumya started chasing Avni....

Avni was running looking back at Saumya and like always again got collided with him , hurting both of their heads due to collision with each other....

She was wearing high heels for the first time in her life bcoz of Aaniya's emotional blackmail, she cursed Aaniya under her breath before looking up to see him , who was lost in her simplicity .....

"Wo....woo......woho...wooo...

Meri har kami ko h.....

He was looking dashing like always , wearing a black tuxedo......

" Owww!! aap aadmi ho ya patthar ? Bahot zoro ka lag gaya, mumma!! ( Are you a man or a stone? Got hurt hardly , mamma!!)", Avni whined, rubbing her forehead bringing him back to earth ...

" Again!! You!!, Tumne pee rakhi h kya ? Seedhe nhi chal sakti tum? (Are you drunk ? Can't you walk straight?)", He questioned looking at her unbelievablingly….

" What? What the hell are you saying? Me and drink? Tauba tauba!! No never!!", She replied dramatically patting her cheeks lightly making him to again get lost in her cuteness and innocence…

" It's just that, I have worn heels for the very first time, so thoda disbalance ho gya (got disbalanced a bit), Sorry" she apologized grinning at him...

" What?Tum bina heels ke to seedha chal nhi paati ho or tumne heels pahen li? Wow!! Jab tumhe pahenni aati hi nhi h to pahenti kyu ho? (You can't walk straight even without heels and you wore them? Why do you even wear them when you don't know how to ?)", He questioned narrowing his eyes at her…

"Wo I wasn't ready to wear it but Aaniya forcefully made me wear it !!", She pouted and Neil was clean bowled at her cuteness…..

"Arey to mana kr deti , pata nahi kitno ko zakhmi karogi aaj tum !! (You should have not agreed, Don't know How many people you will get wounded today) ", he managed to come back with another sarcastic reply of his...

" What? Arghhh !! Mumma plzz help!! Please save me from this crazy khadoos guy !! Listen don't start again plzzz" she requested after murmuring to herself which was obviously heard by him...

" What ? I'm starting it? You bumped into me first, and why do you always start calling out for your mother in every damn thing? Why don't you just go to her if you are missing her that much , this house will get some relief too", he taunted her making Avni to get lost in her thoughts...

" Of course you are starting it!! I didn't bump into you intentionally ", she shot back after composing herself…..

" And yeah about going to my mother, so , how I wish I could go to her, but it's ok, ek na ek din to chali hi jaungi (I'll go someday or the other)", she spoke again lost in herself…..

"Ermmm I .......I mean have some patience I'll definitely go but I'm here to attend Saumya's wedding and I will attend it then go, never before that, got it Mr. Tillu? " She successfully diverted him , when she noticed his confused and questioning gaze...

" Arrrgh!! Not again!! " He rubbed his forehead in utter frustration….

" Oops sorry not Mr. Tillu , you don't like that name na so Mr. Sadu, actually Mr . Khadoos suits you much better, what say? " She loves to irritate him...

" Listen you..." Neil started only to get interrupted by her….

" Mere paas faltu baatein sunne ka time nahi h (I don't have time to listen to useless things)",she said in attitude….

" What? Do you think I'm always free ? I have nothing to do? Listen Ms. Ajooba (Weirdo)!! I too have lots of work to do and Don't have time to waste especially on you", he shot again…

"Wait!! Hold on!! What did you address me as ? Ajooba? Am I looking like an ajooba to you?" She narrowed her eyes at him...

" Of course you are an Ajooba , without any doubt, or ab ajooba ko ajooba na bulau to fir kya bulau ( and If I won't address a weirdo as weirdo , then what should I address?") He smirked , enjoying her irritated self….

" I ain't any ajooba but you are for sure...." She gritted her teeth….

They continued and continued while the audience was watching them in disbelief with "inka kuch nahi ho sakta " (Nothing can be done to them) look nodding their head negatively....

Aaniya came in between them trying to stop them but they were so into fighting that they didn't hear her...

" Guys stop plzz!! Aaniya shouted, finally gaining their attention….

"Relax bhai !! Avu cool down girl !! Stop fighting guys please!!", Aaniya requested….

" Ye lad rhi h mai nhi !! (She is fighting not me!!)....", he justified himself, putting the blame on her….

" What? Mai lad rhi ? Shuru aapne kiya tha Mr. Whatever!! (I'm fighting? You started it Mr. Whatever!!) Aaniya I can't believe that he is your bro..." Avni twitched her lips….

" What do you mean by that haa?" Neil scowled and they again indulged themselves in another round of fight...

" Arrrgh!! Stop it you both plzz!! Bhai please Do what you came for and go and Avu let's go and get ready..." Saying that Aaniya started to drag Avni...

"Mr. Akdu Khanna / Ms. Ajooba", they murmured at the same time moving in opposite directions….
