Chapter 7

Third Person's POV

A smiling woman walks down the hallway of an elite school while clutching the lace of its bag. He looked around to make sure he didn't meet anyone. She went to school earlier than usual to avoid any hassle and trouble. Even now, let her have a good morning. He was close to the cafeteria when he was stopped suddenly because someone blocked his path.

He looked up and saw there three women he knew very well. Her smile spontaneously disappeared and was replaced by a blank expression. "If you're being looked at," he whispered, which was obviously heard by the three. He would have passed them when he held the arm of one of them.

"Hep Hep! Where do you think you're going, bitch?" One of them made an artistic promise that he knew Maddox.

Tss. Isn't it a cliché? I'm tired of what I watch and read that there are such villains in the lives of the living and also here in reality there are also? Is there nothing new here? This promise in his mind and he just smirked.

"Going to my class? What else did I come here for?" There is no appetite for this promise. He wanted to roll his eyes because of the stupid question of the woman in front of him.

"Really? I thought you came here to flirt?" The woman's bold answer also interrupted him.

"Flirting? Are you referring to yourself, Maddox?" The woman also spoke defiantly and regretted it, causing the woman's face to turn red and she would have slapped him, but the woman quickly avoided, causing her face to almost sink into the cement when she was out of balance. Fortunately, her companions touched her.

Everyone saw it. Suddenly the number of students watching increased. Maddox's face showed shame and anger. He looked at the woman in front of him who was now bored with the expression on his face.

"Yah! Who do you think you are ?! How dare you! You think I'll miss what you did to me yesterday ?!" This angry shout made all the students look at their seats. Maddox grab the girl's hair but she immediately avoided it by taking a few steps backwards.

"Girl, let's go. Everyone is looking at us" Said one of Maddox's companions but obviously didn't want to let the girl go.

"You're overreacting! You don't know who you're up against, Primitiva!" Its screaming cry.

"I'm so done with your shits, Maddox. If you can't do anything with your life, don't bother me" He calmly said and turned his back on them but he chased after her and quickly grabbed her arm.

"You can't leave just like that, bitch" He said and slapped the woman. The sound of it echoed through the whole place and everyone heard it. Everyone gasps and some of them are already taking videos of the commotion the whole time. "You can't put shame on me this time" He added and smiled but his smile disappeared immediately when he saw the woman smile at him.

"I'm not putting shame on you. You're putting yourself into shame, Maddox" His promise was annoying and he looked around. Everyone is gossiping particularly about Maddox's violence towards the girl but some are also happy with what he did. Its pallor of embarrassment was obvious but the anger in its eyes could not be removed.

Prim kept staring at him and obviously he didn't like the situation anymore. She really hate this feeling. Prim thought it would stop and let her get stuck but she's wrong. Maddox suddenly smirk and a group of students appeared from nowhere. They're holding tray of egg and It's raw. Prim backed away and frowned.

"Now, let's see how much courage you show" Maddox laughed. "Everyone, this girl deserves this. She flirted with my fiancé so don't pitty her" He announced to everyone that Prim was biting his mouth.

"How long is this? It's exhausting" he said in his mind.

Maddox motioned her hand and the next thing she knew everyone was throwing her some eggs. She closes her eyes tightly because she feels the pain when it hits her skin. He can do nothing but accept it all and stay in his place. She uses her both hands as her defense.

He winced at the pain on his forehead and then the dripping of hot liquid on his cheek. He frowned when he saw that it was bleeding. She looked at his feet and saw a small rock there. Everyone stopped throwing and confused. Even Maddox didn't know what to do.

Prim's eyesight started to get blurry but she managed to stood properly even though she was about to lose her consciousness. "Who threw that stone ?!" Maddox angrily promises the students but they keep silent. The nervousness and fear in its voice was obvious. Everyone is looking at her as if she's a criminal.

"You're so childish" Prim said and at the same time closed his eyes. Everyone was surprised when it slowly fell down but even before his body hit the cement there were hands wrapped around his body.

"NO ONE WILL LEAVE THIS F*CKIN 'PLACE!" It shouted and lifted Prim unconscious. All the students were suddenly frightened to see its dark aura.

"K-Kane! I-It's not what you think!" Maddox shouted and grabbed the young man's arm but he received a bad look from him.

"I've seen enough, Cladéron" He said coldly and turned his back on her. The student was separated when Kane passed by with Prim unconscious.

He saw his two friends standing so his forehead furrowed. "Bring all these students to the Gymnasium and make sure that no one will escape. You will be the ones to charm me" He threatened his friends who scratched their heads.

Prim's POV

"Yvo! Where are you going?" I asked as I chased after him. I ran even faster even though I was really tired. He didn't listen, he keep on running. "Yvo, wait up!" I called again so it turned to me.

It stopped running so I could breathe easily. I saw its laughter and even pointed at me. "Because you're fat, Prim! You can't keep up with me" He laughed so I frowned. When I got close to him I punched him causing him to snort.

"Duh! I'm not fat, I'm chubby!" I chuckled and frowned. It approached me and messed up my hair. It touched both my shoulders.

"Don't worry, even if you're fat or chubby you say. You're still the most beautiful in my eyes" He said seriously while looking into my eyes. It smiled so sweetly that I felt my face heat up.

"Bolero!" I promised and jokingly slapped him on the shoulder. I walked away from him. "Don't worry, you're the ugliest in my eyes" I said and wrote to him and I ran away.

"Why! The deception!" It complained and chased me so I quickly ran and crossed the road. Unexpectedly, I did not notice the vehicle approaching. I could not move from where I was standing. I heard Yvo's scream behind me and then the hands that pushed me away from death.

"YVO!" I gasped and touched my chest because of its excessive beating. That dream visited me again. The dream that happened to me 5 years ago that I want to forget. I was touched on my cheek wet with tears. I couldn't help but cry remembering her smiling face. "I'm sorry" I whispered to myself as the accent sobbed.

Yvo is my bestfriend, my best buddy, .... my first love. I thought I had forgotten the pain, not yet. I was gripped in my chest to feel the familiar pain again. That incident happened 5 years ago. Yvo saved me from that car accident and also because I haven't seen him yet. His family decided to bring him to the US and until now I have no news of him. His family blamed me for what happened and that was the most painful. They don't know that I blame myself also for thaf incident. If it weren't for me he wouldn't be damned.

The door creak open so I immediately wipe my tears away and prevent myself from crying. Aziz entered with a paper bag. His eyes fell on me and I saw the concern on his face.

"Thanks God, you're awake. Are you okay?" He asked me after he put the paper bag on the side table. I nodded and sighed then looked around. I just now noticed that I was here in a room with medical equipments.

"Where am I?" I will ask. He sat down on a single chair and was blown away by the wind.

"You're at school's clinic. I saw the video of what happened earlier, Harriette. Didn't I tell you to avoid them?" He said a little annoyed but I could still feel the concern in his voice. I saw how he clenced his jaw and balled his fist.

"I tried, Aziz. But they're the ones looking for trouble" I told him seriously. "What happened to those students?" I will ask.

I remember what happened to me earlier. I was held on my forehead with a gauze pad now. I sat up carefully and even frowned at the pain in my body.

"They're suspended and one of them will face the consequences of hurting you and almost put your life at risk" Maddox entered my mind so my head heated up again. That woman. I thought Kane was just her boyfriend but also fiancé? Another class. Tss.

"How about Maddox?"

"They're still working about the case. Dean is going to talk to you about what you want to happen" I was just blown away by the wind and examined myself. I noticed that my clothes were different so I frowned.

"Who changed my clorhes?" I change the topic.

"Of course the nurse is awkward for me, isn't she?" He said sarcastically as he took out the food inside the paper bag. I just tsked. I just didn't sing it.

"Did you bring me here?" I asked after a few seconds. He stopped arranging the food and I noticed that he tightened his grip on the spoon. My forehead furrowed. "Hey! Bakulaw, you answered" I said so he looked at me.

"Tss. Nope" He spared his tongue and laid the food on the over-bed table. I would have asked who but it put the fried chicken in my mouth. "Don't ask" Its language was lazy so I immediately took the single pillow and threw it in his face.

"You're really naughty!" I said but the animal just laughed at me.

"Yeah, it's good that your relationship is back, once. It's better for you so you can't find a boyfriend" He said and immediately left his seat. I looked for something to throw at him but I couldn't find anything.

"Stop me from being mad at you! If you get really close to me, I'll tease you!" I shouted and looked at him but he just laughed with laughter. I suddenly frowned and grabbed my forehead. I also closed my eyes sharply and headed off. "A-Aray! The pain!" I'm acting.

It immediately approached me so I smiled. "H-Harriette, are you okay?" She said worriedly and touched me on the shoulder. I immediately looked at him and smiled. His eyes widened and he was about to run away but I quickly grabbed his neck and jokingly choked him then I pinched his ear.

"A! A-Arraaaaayyy! Prim, that's enough! Masakiiiiit!" He complained. When I was satisfied I let it go. It immediately moved away from me looking bad while holding his reddish ear.

"Good for you" I said and I smiled at him sweetly.

"If it weren't for you cousin I probably would have left you" He frowned at me.

"Ah really? Eh if you're so tirisin me ?! How much you owe me!" I kept my promise and stared at him. It just scratched his head and was blown away by the wind. He didn't say anything and turned back to the chair he was sitting on earlier and peeled orange.

"Tss. Just eat when you get home" He said so I immediately grabbed his arm.

"Come on, go home?"

"Yes. What else are you going to do here? It's almost 5:30 pm" It said so my eyes widened.

"That's how long I slept ?!" I couldn't believe my promise and leaned against the headboard of the bed. I bit my lower lip because I didn’t go to class all day. I almost bang my head on the headboard because of the amount I skip that class.

"Yes. You even have three saliva" I just stared at Aziz with his poop and I just washed my hand on my face.

"The amount I'm absent" I frowned. "I still had a presentation earlier" I added.

"Don't worry, you've been excused from all your classes. Just take it back tomorrow. For now, consume this food because we're going home" He said so I looked at him and immediately shook.

"I can't ..." I muttered, causing him to frown.

"What's wrong?"

"What can I say to Kuya with my face, aber?" I spoke and just leaned on the headboard then sighed.
