Chapter 5

His intimidating eyes are still fixed at me, scanning me from head to toe. I couldn't help but to step back. I swallowed hard as he started to step forward. "Stop right there!" I shout. I also raise my hand to stop him. It stopped. Meet its eyebrows and seem to blow fire at any moment. I swallowed hard to avoid the lump on my throat. Why is he this intimidating?

"We met again" This cold language caused me to bite my lower lip but I also frowned when I remembered that it had a wound because I was bitten this morning. Why is it that I can still see him in so many people? "You're so careless. You really like to do pranks" It added reason to frown at me.

"A-What nonsense?" I have the courage to promise even though I really just want to run away. I was nervous when he pointed at the side mirror of the car. It really broke. It's not that big of a rock.

"See? This is your fault. You made a big scandal this morning and you also destroyed my car's side mirror"

"I didn't mean it, okay? It's your fault. Are you planning to run over me?" I will ask. I think I said something wrong because his face darkened. I swallowed and gripped the hem of my dress tightly.

"It's not my fucking fault if you're stupid" My head heated up at what he said. Me? Stupid?

"I'm not stupid, dumbass!" I retaliated and turned my back on him. I was about to walk away when someone pulled my arm and forced me to face the reason so that my face hit his chest. I winced because my nose hurt from hitting the hard ---- I mean his chest. You're crazy again Primitiva. Stop talking nonsense!

My eyes widened as I marealize our position. It held my waist and my left arm. When we were so close, I could smell its scent again. I could feel his warm breath on my forehead since my face was only up to his chest. I was about to push him away with my free hand when he tightened his grip on my waist.

"Not so fast, lady" It whispered close to my ear causing me to catch my breath. I also feel like all the blood has risen to my cheek because of what it said. My hair also grew on the nape. All I can hear is the beating sound of my heart. What the hell? When I regained consciousness I pushed it again but langya, the kupal did not really move.

"W-What the h-heck! L-Let me go" There was a weakness and I stammered while still letting go of him. He doesn't say anything and all I could hear from him is a gentle laugh. Is this man cheating on me? Doesn’t he feel that I’m being counted too much in our position? Bwisit.

"No. After what you did this morning and with my car?" Its cold promise.

"I'll just pay for what I damaged as long as you stay away from me!" I said he followed. I breathed a sigh of relief at what it did. Thanks, God! I seemed to suffocate earlier.

I stared at it but I also immediately averted my gaze when I saw its eyes again which seemed to penetrate until my soul was staring. I averted my eyes and turned his car around again. I frowned as I marealized. Why it seems familiar to me. Wait? Ito rin 'yung ....

"Is this your car ?!" I asked in shock why his eyebrow rose.

"Did you see anyone else going out of that car? I've been saying that it was my car for how many times yet you ask me with your stupid question?" There is no appetite for this language that almost catches my eye. I just ignored that.

"You're also the one who almost ran into me this morning ?!" I shouted and even pointed at his face. Aba't! I should be the one to be angry with this defeat.

"What ?!" His forehead furrowed even more at what I said. Until his lips curved into a smirk.

"So, you're that stupid person who doesn't know how to walk alongside the road?" Its sarcastic language makes me angry.

"I'm on the side of the road. You're the one who doesn't know how to drive properly. I should be the one to be angry with you because you almost hit me again. I can sue you for reckless driving" I reasoned out but he doesn't 't care at all. He just tsked.

"Tss. As if you can do that since you also cause damage to someone else's property and even OWNING SOMEONE AS HER PROPERTY without asking for HIS PERMISSION" Napamaang naman ang labi ko sa sinabi niya. He even emphasizes the last sentences that he said. The grass says it.

"Yes. You're right with your first statement and I can pay you for the damage that I caused but there are no such law about your second statement. I never owned someone or something without his/her permission, Mister" Hindi ako magnanakaw .

"How fast can you forget? You didn't remember that you owned me as yours this morning, Harriette Primitiva Ferelle?"

And that caught me off guard. What the f ?!

KINABUKASAN

I was standing in front of my bathroom's door for almost 15 minutes already. I don't know if I should go to school or I'll just stay here at home and wait for miracle to happen. Hopefully a miracle will happen and they have forgotten what happened. Unfortunately, this is reality so it's impossible. I was blown away by the wind and looked at the wall clock. It's almost 7:45 am already but I couldn't even start my morning routine.

I heard a knock from my door and I knew it was Kuya. "Harriette, are you awake yet?" Question it and knock again.

"Yes brother!" I answered back and just took the towel hanging on the bathroom door.

"It's almost 8:00 o'clock. Aren't you coming in? Are you not feeling well?" Concern was in his voice so I gasped.

"No, Kuya. I just woke up last night. I'm going to take a bath" I answered and frowned. Hays. I don't have choice.

"Are you sure?"

"Opo"

"Okay, gotta go. Don't forget to lock the door and gate when you live" It reminded me that I answered Yes again. When I heard its footsteps leaving, I was annoyed and pulled my hair before entering the bathroom.

As I walk in and look at the University I can’t help but worry. I couldn't help but to tightened my grip on my bag's lace. As I approached the gate, the eyes of the student I was entering immediately fell on me. They're also gossiping and gave me those annoying look. Instead of being affected I chose to just ignore it. I keep a blank face while entering the University.

Until entering inside more and more eyes were focused on me. This is my first time experiencing this and I could feel my knees trembling but I remain firm. I heave a deep breath and continue walking even though I wanted to run and hide somewhere. Isn't it funny? It’s reality but I seem to be in a movie. I just shook my head and let them whisper to me.

'Is she that girl?'

'She's pretty though but Maddox is better'

'The courage to say her boyfriend is Kane?'

'My guess. That's just one of the ones chasing Kane so make a scene. Not ashamed '

Okay. This makes me want to punch someone directly on his goddamn mouth. I just calmed myself down. I don’t want to make a scene here. I was close to the cafeteria when I saw someone standing tall at the entrance with two of them. Oh great! I almost forgot, I have to deal with someone.

Before I could even pass them I was immediately blocked by them. Maddox Beatrice Ckadéron is standing right now in front of me while holding a cup of strawberry juice. It looks like something bad is planned for me. The sight of it hovered me from head to toe. She rolled her eyes and raised her left eyebrow. She had this bitch attitude that I didn’t really like. Add make up to it that you think you are going to an event or party.

"So, here's the girl who dare to stole my role?" She raised an eyebrow. "How many of them are you? I can't count. I didn't know that Kane still had the courage to snatch me even though I told him everything about it" He added and stared me in the eye. I remained silent and met his gaze.

Everyone is looking at us. Waiting for something, something that could fulfill their wants. Some even held their cellphones. Okay, here we go again. Maybe I'll just really accept that my life won't be quiet anymore.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know there was a jowa? I thought it was single" I said seriously even though I really wanted my voice to be sarcastic. She scoff and gave me a sharp look. It looks like it wants to gnaw my face on the cement.

"How dare you! Are you stupid? Everyone knows that Kane is MINE. Where on the planet did you come from and you didn't know that I was the Girlfriend of the one YOU flirted with?" Napaismid naman ako. She looks like a mad person. Just for a man he scandalizes? How pathetic.

"Sorry. I didn't know" I said again to stop this but I don't really think this woman will lose. Its face became even more fierce.

"If you think I'm going to miss what you did, you're wrong. You know what will happen to someone like you?" He made a threatening promise and stepped closer to me. I didn’t leave my stand and just kept my eyes on him. I'm not afraid of her or with anybody. I've been through a lot since I was a kid then am I still scared? Tss.

He raised his hand holding a glass of strawberry juice and then touched my cheek with cold liquid. I expected that first of all but it's really different when you've experienced it. Tss. What does he think of me, crying? Beg? Like those stupid people on dramas? Heck no! My parents did not raise me to oppress anyone.

Everyone gasps and I could see some of them started to take photos and even videos. Okay, total you start, I'll finish. I wipe my face using my hand and even my clothes. "Tss. Don't you know that it's hard to wash clothes especially the ones with stains?" I asked calmly and continued to shake my clothes. All the students murmured.

"W-What ?!" I couldn't believe its promise and I felt its grip on my arm. I lifted my eyes and gave him a blank stare. Deal with me, bitch. If your behavior is bad, I will make your behavior even worse. I removed his hand from my arm.

"I said PO, it's hard for PO to wash clothes, especially PO when there is a stain PO" I said and put more emphasis on PO. His cheek turned red and he pushed me so I backed away.

"How dare you!" And his hand quickly landed on my cheek. "Your courage to answer me!" I saw the anger on its face. He looks ignorant in what he does. It's really annoying to me. That's a little painful, isn't it? I rolled my eyes all around and saw a woman holding orange juice near my seat. I quickly grabbed it and turned to the woman in front of me.

I could see a hint of shock and nervousness in her face. I smiled. I'm really the one you're against. "No one dare to slap me, bitch. Let me try this to you" I said coldly and raised my hand and rushed to sprinkle the juice on his face. It immediately shouted and covered its face. I laughed, he looked stupid. It removed his hand from his face and wrinkled his forehead. I threw the juice at his feet so it bounced back.

"But I'm not as level as you" I said and quickly left them there. I heard her called me but I never dared to look back. My steps were quick as I annoyed wiping my clothes soaked in juice. This is really one of a kind. I know I look stupid now.

"Aray!" I complain when I bump into someone. I immediately looked up and was greeted by his pair of black eyes. I looked at it reluctantly. Why do I always see it? I heard two people laughing at his back so I diverted my gaze over them and raise my eyebrow. They averted their eyes so I was stunned. I’m not in the mood to laugh at anyone because my day is ruined. My only goal right now is to change my fucking clothes.

I would have passed them when he grabbed my arm tightly so I couldn’t leave. I looked at him angrily. "What now, Fathead ?!" I angrily promised the reason for its moaning.

"FATHEAD ?!" Shocked, two men behind him promised.
